WALKING AS JESUS WALKED

“He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.” 1 John 2:6 (NKJV)“He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.” 1 John 2:6 (NKJV)

Glory be to God for a new day! Thank You, Lord, for the gift of life and the grace to walk in Your ways. As we set out today, may our steps be ordered by Your Spirit and our hearts stay aligned with Your will.

To abide in Christ is to live in close fellowship with Him, allowing His nature to shape our thoughts, words, and deeds. It is not enough to merely profess faith; our conduct must reflect His example. Jesus walked in love, truth, humility, and obedience to the Father, leaving us a pattern to follow.

As believers, we are called to mirror His character in a world that often walks in the opposite direction. Each day, our actions should testify that Christ lives in us. The more we abide in Him through prayer, obedience, and the Word, the more our walk resembles His.

Walking as Jesus walked means forgiving even when it hurts, loving those who reject us, and remaining faithful in trials. It is a journey of transformation where our will bows to His, and our lives become living testimonies of His grace. When we choose to walk in His steps, we experience divine strength and peace that the world cannot give.

When your heart stays with Jesus, your steps will always follow His path.

Lord, help me to walk as Jesus walked, loving, forgiving, and living in obedience to You. Let my life today reflect Your light and bring glory to Your name. Amen.

Do not store up for yourself material treasures on earth

“Do not store up for yourselves [material] treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
Matthew 6:19 AMP

Hallelujah be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Jesus taught us not to store up for ourselves material treasures here on earth during His Sermon on the Mount. It doesn’t mean that we should not get any property here on earth. The caution is about NOT putting our trust in the material things we acquire.

What are the things we cherish in our heart? Is God and His Kingdom our most treasured and valuable possession or that sleek vehicle or that gorgeous mansion? Moth and rust can destroy our earthly treasures! Let us reconsider our priorities.

Our treasures should be heaven based where they are eternal, the rust and moth cannot destroy it. We must deeply cherish the things of God, our love and service to God must be the paramount thing.

Father we acknowledge that it is in you that we live and move and have our being, help us to focus on you rather than the things of this world.

Most High God help us to build up resources in Heaven where we shall be rewarded. Grant us the grace to place you first in all things in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Put your Trust and Faith in God when you are afraid

“When I am afraid, I will put my trust and faith in You.”
Psalms 56:3 AMP

Praise and adoration be unto the Most High God for this beautiful day, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

King David prayed this psalm when the Philistines had captured him in Gath, he asked for God’s mercy because men were hotly pursuing him. He acknowledged that in the midst of the attack He had a God who was able to see him through so he reached out to the Most High God.

With the current economic challenges in the world, we can follow King David’s example and entrust our lives into the hands of the Lord. With all the harsh economic conditions, we should stand and pray and confess that OUR TRUST and FAITH is in the LORD. We shall survive and overcome in Jesus Mighty name.

Just as King David was delivered from the hands of the enemy so shall we receive our deliverance from the Lord no matter what is happening now, God is Sovereign and will step in for us.

May our absolute TRUST and FAITH be in the Most High God so that fear shall not deprive us of our heritage in the Lord. Be merciful unto us Lord so that our flesh does not yield to the dictates of the time but that our Spirit man shall be strengthened in you by the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

Seek the Lord Wholeheartedly and you will find Him

‘Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
JEREMIAH 29:13 AMP

Hallelujah and honour be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Let us make time today to fellowship with the brethren.

The Lord is nigh to those who seek Him! The Prophet Jeremiah tells us one deep truth of encountering the Lord personally.

Seek the Lord! Follow hard after the Lord with all your heart and you shall find Him. It is the desire with which we seek the Lord, the longing after (Psalm 42:1….As the deer pants for water, so shall our souls thirst for you Lord…) the Lord that makes the difference. Definitely anything that we search or seek for with all our hearts and minds, we are sure to locate.

Let’s make the Lord our great treasure that we continually seek diligently such that if we don’t follow hard after Him we feel something is missing in our lives. That should be our lifestyle!

May we find the Lord as we seek Him with all our hearts. May the Lord be real in our lives, hearts and minds. May the Lord be the real treasure in our lives in Jesus Mighty name.

I am Crucified with Christ, Christ lives in me now

I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
GALATIANS 2:20 AMP

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Today is the Lord’s day, let us gather in His presence to give Him Worship.

Today we join Apostle Paul to confess that we have been crucified with Christ. Our lives have been sold out to Him. It is in Him we live and move and have our being.

Live your life completely by faith relying on the Lord Jesus Christ, absolutely trusting Him and adhering to the Word of God.

Identify with Jesus Christ wherever you find yourself, not being ashamed of the Gospel because It is the Power of God unto Salvation.

May the power of the resurrection that follows the crucifixion of Jesus Christ be availed unto us for greater works as we focus on our walk with Christ Jesus in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

PEACE WITH GOD THROUGH FAITH

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Romans 5:1 (NIV)

Praise and Glory be to God for this brand new day, may we rejoice and be glad in it.

Justification by faith is one of the greatest blessings of salvation. It means that through our faith in Christ, we are declared righteous before God, not because of our works, but because of the finished work of Jesus on the cross.

This justification brings peace, not the absence of problems, but the assurance that we are no longer at odds with God. The barrier of sin has been removed, and now we stand in a relationship of grace, favor, and reconciliation with our Creator.

When you are at peace with God, the storms of life may rage, but your heart remains calm because you are anchored in divine acceptance. This peace is a fruit of faith and a foundation for joy, confidence, and hope in your walk with Christ.

“The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace.” Psalm 29:11

Father, thank You for justifying me through faith in Christ. Thank You for the peace that comes from being reconciled with You. Help me to live daily in the consciousness of this peace, free from guilt, fear, and condemnation. Let Your peace rule my heart and guide my steps. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
