Study to show yourself an approved workman of God

Study and do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth.

Fix your eyes on the Things not seen

Glory to God for the eternal life in Christ Jesus, this is very precious and we must handle with the importance it deserves. That is why we must fix our eyes on eternal things.The charge by Apostle Paul is for us not to fix our eyes on the things we see around us which are temporal. The cars, houses, latest clothes and what have you are described as fleeting and brief without any eternal value.Focus on the Unseen, the spiritual which is of eternal value. The invisible things are everlasting and imperishable. This is the Faith that we express in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ believing with our hearts and confessing with our mouth that Jesus Christ alone is Lord and will remain Lord till the ends of the world.Most High God our trust is in you!May our eyes remain focused on you and the massive promises in your Word. Endure to the End for your Crown

Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

Thanks be to God for a brand new day and an opportunity to spend quality time in His presence.

Today’s scripture lays some basic requirements and information at our doorstep.
It is confirming that a crown of life awaits the believer who stands his grounds in the face of trials and tribulations.

Rely on the Holy Spirit and be totally dependent on God to be able to endure till the end. The victor’s crown is awaiting us so we should not let anything stand in our way. Let’s remain steadfast and persevere till the end.

Love in Truth and in Action

The Lord is good and worthy to be praised at all times.

Thank God for the gift of Love that the Father has given to us. That is the reason why we are His children in the first place. He loved us so much that He gave His only begotten son to die to set us free.

Today’s scripture is calling us to love genuinely and practically. It is a call to be real and not only love by word of mouth.

Our deeds and actions should show our love, being ready to help people who need our help in any way or form we can. It may be a very little act of service not necessarily giving out money, but where you are in a position to support someone financially, please do it.

May the Love of God be found in us all the time, may we be the carriers and distributors of God’s love to the world.

May we enjoy God’s love as we genuinely share with all. May God’s grace be sufficient for all in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Hope and Encouragement

For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.

Praise, honour and adoration be unto the Lord for a brand new day and the gift of life.

All scripture is inspired by God for our benefit. It is to keep us in check and focused on God.

The scriptures benefit us through inspiration, correction, rebuke and for instructions. We need to strive to be readers and students of the Bible so we obtain guidance for life.

The scriptures are a source of Hope and Encouragement to us to soldier on in the Faith as there awaits us eternal life. It reminds us of the wonderful promises of God and the rewards for staying connected to the source of Life to the very end.

May Hope and Encouragement dwell with us as we journey through the Word of God till eternity.

Hardship Produces Hope and Assurance of Salvation

And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance; and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation].

Glory be to God for this blessed day, may we rejoice and be glad in it.
Today’s scripture is drawing our minds to the fact that there are some benefits during our trial or difficult moments. God is able to use that to build up our character in the Faith.
We can recall the persecution of the church in Acts of the Apostles that sent Philip to Samaria to preach the gospel.

This is to draw attention to the fact that it is not only a gloomy situation when we enter into trials. We should therefore continue to trust God even in difficult moments that they will work together for our good.

May the Lord help us so that with endurance we will look forward to seeing Christ even in our challenging moments. God be our strength. May we not lose our salvation because of challenges that may have come our way. Amen.

Praise God that He has taken charge of our entire being straight from our mothers’ wombs and decorated us for His purposes.

Our God is a marvellous God, He deserves all our Praise and adoration! None compares to you O God, from everlasting to everlasting you reign supreme in splendour and majesty.

Great are you God and worthy to be praised. From the rising of the sun till its going down, you continue to reign far above all, we appreciate you the Great that I am God for making us fearful and wonderful! Amen.

The King of Glory and the Lord of Hosts

Who is [He then] this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory [who rules over all creation with His heavenly armies]. Selah.

The bible says that in this Psalm that Lord our God is the Lord of Hosts who is mighty in battle in battle. He is strong and has a host of armies/troops under His command.

His name is Jehovah Gibbor Milchamah in Hebrew meaning the Lord strong and mighty in battle. We should therefore approach all our life battles with Jehovah Gibbor Milchamah in charge and we shall be victorious.

Our God is a victorious warrior who reigns and rules over all situations once we invite Him in. Surrender that battle to His leadership today.

May the King of Glory and Lord of Hosts be our lead in every battle. May we overcome all battles as the Lord Mighty in battle goes before us with His troops. May He Reign and Rule over our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Today’s scripture is one of the Beatitudes Jesus taught at His teaching service held on the Mount. The beatitudes is also described as the “Be Attitudes” that Jesus Christ requires of us.

Today’s focus is on being merciful! It is because God’s mercy that we are saved and here at this moment. The teaching therefore is challenging us to take up that example of Jesus so that we shall continually receive God’s mercy.

The showing of Mercy qualifies us as Blessed people who shall even receive more mercy. Ephesians 5:1-2 helps us to take further steps towards showing mercy.

May we be blessed greatly as we show mercy to others. May the Great mercies of God abound towards us. May we remain sheltered by God’s promises.Amen.

Seek the Lord, Call on Him while He is Near

The bible enjoins us in today’s scriptures to seek the Lord and call upon His name. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation.

Seek the Lord! We seek for things that are of interest and importance to us. The importance of the Lord in our lives cannot be over emphasized. He is our Lord and Saviour, our all in all.

Today is our time to call on the name of the Lord for salvation. Jesus saves and delivers. He is ready to receive us into His marvellous light and forgive us of our sins. He is a merciful and compassionate God.

May the Lord hear and answer us as we call on the name of the Lord for Salvation and Deliverance. May Jehovah look favourably upon us and accept us into His marvellous light in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Cast your burdens upon the Lord

Cast your burden on the Lord [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail).

In Matthew 11:28, Jesus asked whether there were any weary and heavy laden, He invited such ones to come to Him for their burdens to be made light.

The scripture for today from Psalms is also urging us to cast our burdens on the Lord, the burdens will crush us if we don’t hand them over to the Master who lifts all burdens!

It is the Lord who will sustain us and help us to walk freely and confidently in Him. When we are burdened, it becomes difficult to progress in the journey of life because the worries of life will always pull us back and hinder our progress.

May we be candidates of God’s sustaining power and grace and that every load or burden be melted in Jesus name. May the joy of the Lord and the peace of God be our portion in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day, a glorious day to worship the Most High God.

Thanks be to God for the wonderful and beautiful plans He has for us. His plans and thoughts for us are wonderful and glorious, they are big and amazing.

A plan of Peace has been prepared for the Child of God, your well being is on top of God’s agenda.

God has taken keen interest in our lives and has purposed that His children should have a great future and an expected end.

May God Almighty hold our hands, guard our hearts and direct our paths so that we come to that expected end of hope and great future in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
