Walk in the Ways of God and keep His Commandments

“in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk [that is, to live each and every day] in His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments (precepts), so that you will live and multiply, and that the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you are entering to possess.”
DEUTERONOMY 30:16 AMP

Praise Jesus for a bright and beautiful day. We are grateful for the gift of life.

The scripture for the day says that as children of God, we should endeavour to love the Lord, walk in His ways and obey His commandments. I believe that this follows a natural sequence that if you love someone, you are ready to do what pleases the person.

It is therefore important that we take the first step of loving the Lord, our hearts should be fully surrendered to the Lord. With this in the bag, it becomes easier to obey and observe His word which are His commandments and precepts.

As we obey and observe His word we walk in His ways and therefore court His manifold blessings.

May the abundant blessings of the Lord locate us wherever we are as we take steps to walk in obedience with Him. May this weekend be filled with gladness and notable testimonies to the glory of God. Enjoy His multiplied blessings in Jesus name. Amen.

God’s Word is Perfect!

The law of the Lord is perfect (flawless), restoring and refreshing the soul; The statutes of the Lord are reliable and trustworthy, making wise the simple.

The Word of the Lord created the entire universe and all within it, after each created thing, God Almighty looked upon it and remarked that it was Good.

This morning the Word of God is reminding us that nothing compares to it. God’s Word is Perfect and flawless, we cannot pick any fault or issue about the Word.

The Living Word of God brings restoration and revival to our souls. The Word is reliable and trustworthy because it settled in Heaven already and forever.

May the Word of the Lord be your defence and rock! May it be your illumination that brings you revival and restoration. May the Word make you wiser each new day. As you meditate on the Word, May your ways be prosperous in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Quick to hear, Slow to speak and Slow to anger

Understand this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Let everyone be quick to hear [be a careful, thoughtful listener], slow to speak [a speaker of carefully chosen words and], slow to anger [patient, reflective, forgiving];

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Thank God for His Word today, Apostle James is sharing some practical words with us. Be quick to hear requires us to show keen interest in people when they are speaking so we can receive and understand what they are saying. Some elders have said, we were given 2 ears so we can hear well and quickly!

Likewise we have just one mouth so we need to properly process what we say, in that manner, we do not rush to speak. The scripture says that we should be slow to speak. We should be speakers of carefully chosen words, words that edify our hearers. Hallelujah!

Be slow to anger. This requires us to be patient in all situations, being reflective of the fact that Christ died to forgive us so we can forgive others too. We need to consciously make an effort to overcome this. The Lord is our help.

May Jehovah help us to live Christlike lives in Jesus Mighty name. Our lifestyles are the gospel that others read, may it draw them to the Lord. Amen.

Let the Peace of Christ rule in your heart

Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always].

Today’s Scripture is telling us that we should allow the Peace of Christ Jesus, the peace that passes all understanding to reign and rule in our hearts.

This peace should be the controlling factor in our lives, once it rules in our hearts, it should be directing our lives. That calmness and serenity should be seen in our lives. Those we come into contact with us should experience that peace of Christ.

May the Peace of Christ rule and reign in our hearts so that the decisions and actions we take will be godly. It is a privilege to be a receptacle for the Peace of Christ. Connect with Jesus now and receive His peace into your heart.

May the peace of Christ reign forever in our hearts to make our lives impacting to those we come into contact with. May the Lord help us to accomplish His purposes in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Obtain Maximum Safety in God’s Dwelling

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand].

Praise God for a brand new day and the gift of life. It is a privilege to see today, let’s rejoice and be glad in it.

There’s maximum safety and security in the dwelling of the Most High God. The shelter that is provided by the Lord is super secure and cannot be compared to any maximum security prison worldwide.

If you make the Lord your dwelling place you get the privilege of resting in the shadow of the Almighty God.

Can you think of the benefits of resting in the shadow of the Almighty God? This is a complete package where you enjoy spiritual, physical, emotional, social, financial etc security. The Lord is your dwelling place and there’s no room for lack.

Receive the Lord Jesus Christ and Walk in Him

Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say–living lives that lead others away from sin],

Glory be to God for this beautiful day, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Jesus Christ is ready to receive us into His marvellous light so today is a special day and time to receive Him as Lord and personal Saviour. Just believe in your heart and confess with your mouth Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.

After receiving Him and to those who have received Him already, the scripture for today says WALK YE IN HIM! Our lives should be patterned after that of Jesus Christ, living right with God and in accordance with the Word of God.

Walk in Him means our lives should reflect Jesus Christ so that it will attract others to follow Jesus Christ. Walking in Him means our lives must be characterised by the fruits of the Holy Spirit, it should be a live that glorifies God and witnesses to others.

May the Lord help us to live lives that reflect Jesus Christ and draw others to Him. May we accomplish His purposes in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved

And it shall be that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking, adoring, and worshiping the Lord Jesus] shall be saved (rescued spiritually).’

Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Salvation is in no other name but the name of Jesus Christ. An open invitation to receive an eternal gift which is inheriting the Kingdom of God as sons and daughters.

Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved from sicknesses and diseases because at the mention of the name of the Lord all demons, sicknesses and diseases flee.

Call upon the name of the Lord and blessed with the abundance of the Lord. It is in Him we live and move and have our being, the cattle on the thousand hills belong to our Father so we are not poor. He has made us lenders to nations.

Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved with your household, serve the Lord with all your heart and enjoy His salvation till the coming of the Lord. Be blessed on every side and May the joy of the Lord be with you throughout your life in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Keep Doing Good, Don’t be Weary

Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.
GALATIANS 6:9 AMP

Glory be to God for this beautiful day. May His joy remain with you throughout today.

The great apostle Paul admonished the Galatians with this scripture that also speaks to us today. The charge is to keep doing good, not doing it once and going to sleep.

Do not be tired or grow weary in doing good, in showing love to others, in helping others, in providing for others, in supporting others, in assisting others!

The scripture says that in all these, our mind and focus should not be on the reward we will get in helping others but should do whatever we are doing or able to do from the heart. It is the God who sees in secret who will reward you abundantly at the right time. Do not grow tired or weary in serving others.

May Jehovah reward you and smile at you as you keep blessing others. Glory to God!

The Lord our God is the Everlasting God

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord , the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become tired or grow weary; There is no searching of His understanding.

Praise and adoration be unto the Lord for gifting us with a beautiful day.

The scripture for the day sums up the greatness of God and therefore presents us with the opportunity to celebrate Him.

There’s no argument about His Lordship and supremacy, He is the creator of the universe and there’s no doubt about it. He called things that did not exist into being. That is our awesome God.

The bible says that our creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired, that is what makes Him God, He is available 24/7! We access His throne room at all times from all over the world with different languages presenting varied requests but He comprehends all and responds appropriately. No wonder the bible says He knows every single strand of hair on our heads, yes He knows us by our names.

Certainly there is no argument, there is no questioning of God’s understanding and greatness. May we be forever connected to this awesome God and live our lives to please Him. Grant us the grace Lord in Jesus name. Amen.

Manifest The Fruit of the Spirit

But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

We praise God for this brand new day and the gift of life today.

The fruit of the Spirit is what yields in our lives when we allow God’s Spirit to dwell and operate in us. The fruit therefore manifests where the presence of God is…as some may say..it is the end product of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

The fruit of the Spirit is the love, peace, joy, patience, self control, kindness, goodness etc that is shown or made manifest in the life of the true believer. Do we exhibit the above fruits? If not really, then we need to work at courting the Holy Spirit to work within us so these final products (virtues) will show forth.

May the Spirit of God take root in our lives so that we will yield the fruit of the Spirit everywhere and every time. May we experience that closer walk with the Holy Spirit in Jesus mighty name. Shalom

The Lord rewards according to our hearts and motives

“I, the Lord , search and examine the mind, I test the heart, To give to each man according to his ways, According to the results of his deeds.”
JEREMIAH 17:10 AMP

Praise be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

God is examining our lives especially our hearts and minds to ascertain our real motives and determine our rewards thereof.

What is the motivation for what we are doing? Is it for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God or it is a lip service? Trust what we doing is not for the applause of men but with a broken and contrite heart it is service to the Most High God.

May the Lord help us to accomplish His purposes in Jesus Mighty name. May our thoughts and motives always be rooted in Christ Jesus so that our rewards will show forth fruits of the Kingdom of God.
Jehovah be our guide and exceedingly great reward. Amen.

Faith in Christ Jesus makes All Things Possible

But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.
HEBREWS 11:6 AMP

Glory and honour be to God for the blessings of a brand new day. May the joy of the Lord be with you throughout today.

According to Bishop Matthew Addae-Mensah (my spiritual Father and an Apostle of Faith)”Faith is the currency of the believer”. We therefore need to use it for every spiritual and physical transaction of ours to bring it into reality. We need to call the things that are not as if they were and bring them into being!

Without Faith our lives come to a standstill and become very ordinary. Faith energizes us to reach out for the unimaginable and it shall be accomplished once we believe.

The scripture says that we should come to God with a heart that believes that God is able to do what we are requesting of Him. That is where we get our rewards from, seek Him diligently and receive abundant rewards.

May we trust in the only wise God, the Most High God and tap into His world of possibilities in Jesus Mighty name. May our faith in the Lord never diminish but keep rising in Jesus Mighty name to receive all our rewards. Amen.
