God will perfect and complete His good work in you

I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].
PHILIPPIANS 1:6 AMP

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. 

Our God is an amazing God and His works are awesome. Whatever He speaks come to pass just like the creation of the universe and of man.

The scripture for the day therefore is reminding us God will continue to mould and work on us till the 2nd coming of the Lord. That the Lord will perfect and complete His work in us till Christ Jesus comes.

This means that as we surrender our lives to Jesus Christ, His marvellous deeds will be found in us, we shall do exploits under His tutelage,  we shall conquer and overcome in His name. 

As Christ Jesus works in us there is no option of giving up or backsliding, His Strength is made perfect in our weaknesses. Let’s therefore keep holding on till the day of the Lord. 

May Christ Jesus perfect and complete His work in every sphere of our lives. May we experience His awesome power and presence now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

The only Faithful Covenant Keeping God

Therefore know [without any doubt] and understand that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who is keeping His covenant and His [steadfast] lovingkindness to a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;

Hallelujah and Glory be to God for a brand new day filled with His peace and joy.

It is a great privilege to serve this Mighty God who is so Faithful. God is God and none compares to Him, if you have the privilege of being His child, don’t let it go wasted.

Covenant Keeping God, we are grateful that you are extending your lovingkindness for us unto a thousand generations. We shall continue to love you and walk with you so that this Covenant blessings will be available for our future generations. Help us Lord!

God richly bless you for resolving to set in motion a super mega Covenant with God for generations to come.

May we continually be lovers of God who keep to His commandments at all times so that we will enjoy His Covenant as a Faithful God which will be extended to a thousand generations in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

God is not Slow, He is awaiting our Repentance

The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
2 PETER 3:9 AMP

Apostle Peter had to remind the Church that the coming of the Lord was not a joke so people cannot “play” around and choose to be ready at their own time.

As the same chapter said, a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like a day before the Lord. His coming shall be like a thief in the night…most of the endtime signs that the Bible spoke about are happening around us.

It is therefore very important that you and I are ready now for the coming of the Lord. We should not be complacent that the promise of the Lord’s coming is not going to happen any time soon. He is not slack concerning His promises.

We should therefore treat these times as the extra time He has given us to prepare our hearts and minds to be with Him in heaven. He is expecting all of us to come to repentance by having an active working relationship with Jesus Christ.

May the Word of the Lord indwell us so we meditate on His coming and not take His patience for granted. May the Lord help us to be ready for His coming. Amen.

Seek Heavenly Things

“Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.”
‭‭COLOSSIANS‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Hallelujah to the King of glory for ushering us into the 2nd month of the year. We give glory to His holy name! May the joy of the Lord be with us throughout this day and evermore.

Galatians 2:20 says we were crucified with Christ Jesus, today’s scripture says if we have been raised with Christ Jesus in His resurrection, then we have the power that dwells in Christ to do exploits.

Our focus and mind should be fixed on Jesus Christ and on things above, spiritual things should be our desire. Heaven should be our desire and target.

Salvation of souls should be our preoccupation and we should desire to populate the Kingdom of God while depopulating the kingdom of the enemy. Our main focus should be that we make it to heaven at the 2nd coming of Christ.

May we continue to lift up the name of the Lord so that many will be drawn unto the Lord. May our actions, thoughts , deeds and words be a pointer to Jesus Christ. Christ in us should be the hope of this world. Have a fruitful month filled with God’s blessings.

Abide in Jesus and He will also abide in You

Remain in Me, and I [will remain] in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself without remaining in the vine, neither can you [bear fruit, producing evidence of your faith] unless you remain in Me.
JOHN 15:4 AMP

Blessed be the name of the Lord, He has kept and preserved us throughout the 1st month of this new decade, may His holy name be glorified.

Jesus Christ is the true vine! We are the branches. The branch of a tree cannot bear fruits on its own, it has to be connected to the stem and in effect the roots. Jesus is the true vine and God almighty the vine dresser, therefore the branch that is connected shall bear fruits.

Jesus Christ made this teaching clear that without connecting to Him we cannot bear any fruit as christians. The fruitfulness of a child of God takes its source from Jesus Christ, anything apart from that is a mere activity or Showtime.

Remain in Jesus for your Fruitfulness. Jesus abiding in us is a source of empowerment to do greater exploits for the Kingdom of God. May you be eternally connected to the True Vine and remain a fruitful bough in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Love Unconditionally

If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love [for others growing out of God’s love for me], then I have become only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal [just an annoying distraction].
1 CORINTHIANS 13:1 AMP

Praise, glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Love is the reason for our being here today. Without love God would not have sacrificed His son Jesus to die for us. It is the love of God that brought missionaries to Africa to preach the gospel, and the fact that some were dying more kept coming.

This is the unconditional love that we should have and share with others. The scripture says that we can do all the spiritual things but if there is no love involve they are likened to just making noise.

May the Love of God dwell in us so that we can live a life of sharing this love with others. May we be the carriers of the Love of God sharing it with all we come into contact with. God be our help. Love and keep loving one another in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Be the Light of the World

“You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.
MATTHEW 5:14‭-‬16 AMP

Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow! May His holy name be glorified. Thanking God for this beautiful day, celebrate His goodness.

We have been called to be the Light of this world so we must really shine forth the Light of God. That is the only way the world will know that only Jesus Saves.

The light will always overcome and conquer darkness. Let us shine forth our lights so that it will draw men unto the Lord.

Shine forth your lights to glorify God! Let our speech and actions be a point of attraction to the Lord!

May our lights never go dim, may they glow perpetually and illuminate lives to the saving grace of our Lord. May our lights be set on the hill top to glorify God.

Work out your Salvation with Fear and Trembling

So then, my dear ones, just as you have always obeyed [my instructions with enthusiasm], not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation [that is, cultivate it, bring it to full effect, actively pursue spiritual maturity] with awe-inspired fear and trembling [using serious caution and critical self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend God or discredit the name of Christ].
(PHILIPPIANS 2:12 AMP)

Hallelujah! Praise and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Salvation is a gift from God. He gave His only begotten son to die to set us free and whosoever believes and confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour receives eternal life.

Apostle Paul in today’s scripture however reminds us that we need to work at maintaining this gift of salvation. Just as a vehicle is maintained to keep it functioning well, we maintain our salvation by walking according to the precepts of the Most High God.

We need to subject our actions and thoughts to the Word of God at all times and find out whether we are in the Faith or drifting off. It is important that we do this to keep us in check, asking ourselves what would Jesus have done in this situation I find myself.

May the Lord help us to work at our salvation with fear and trembling, holding on to the Faith till the coming of the Lord. Blessings for the day. Amen.

Let the Word of Christ richly dwell in You

Let the [spoken] word of Christ have its home within you [dwelling in your heart and mind–permeating every aspect of your being] as you teach [spiritual things] and admonish and train one another with all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
(COLOSSIANS 3:16 AMP)

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

May the Word of God dwell in us so that we will not sin against God.

May the Word of God dwell in us so that we can have illumination, lamp for our feet and light for our path.

May the Words of Christ that we have received be taught and the wisdom imparted to others, including the singing of psalms, spiritual songs and hymns.

Thank God for His Word which is sweet like honey and the honeycomb. May we feed on it day and night so it richly dwells in our hearts and minds to make our ways prosperous and also enjoy good success. Amen.

Where two or three are gathered in the Lord’s name

“For where two or three are gathered in My name [meeting together as My followers], I am there among them.””
‭‭MATTHEW‬ ‭18:20‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Praise God for a beautiful Sunday, may His name be exalted now and forever more in all gatherings where His name is mentioned.

The presence of the Lord is where His children have gathered in His name. The scripture says that where 2 or 3 are gathered in His name He is with them.

The Lord comes to preside over any gathering of 2 or more people who call upon His name, that is the formula Jesus gave for His church.

Two or three people therefore constitute God’s church once they call upon the name of the Lord.

May we constitute many gatherings at many different locations to spread the name of the Lord. May His presence be experienced in our gatherings to draw many unto the Lord in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.

Share Each Other’s Burdens

Carry one another’s burdens and in this way you will fulfill the requirements of the law of Christ [that is, the law of Christian love].
GALATIANS 6:2 AMP

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

The bible says that Love is the greatest of all! Let us therefore practise this at the least opportunity we get.

Today’s scripture gives us the opportunity to practise love, that is carrying one another’s burdens. Lending a helping hand to others who may require our assistance or help is a demonstration of the Love of God.

The ability to share with others, provide for others, offer a helping hand to those in need are all ways of lessening the burdens of others and also showing love.

May the Lord help us to share each other’s burden and thereby make His Love practical. May we live to accomplish His purposes in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Love your Neighbor as Yourself

For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is fulfilled in one precept, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, you shall have an unselfish concern for others and do things for their benefit].”
GALATIANS 5:14 AMP

Praise be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture captures the whole essence of the gospel of Jesus Christ, He loved us so much that He left His mighty throne and came down to die to save mankind.

The Apostle Paul indicates that just as our Lord and Saviour sacrificed His life for us, so must we also live a sacrificial life.

The summary of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is to love one another unconditionally. Jesus died for all!

We should always be ready to sacrifice for one another. Loving your Neighbour as yourself is going all out to help someone without expecting anything.

Love is the greatest of all and we must show forth that love in our daily lives. Seek the benefit of others truly.

Fulfil this great example of the Lord by loving through and through till Jesus appears.

May the Lord help us to love one another unconditionally at all times in Jesus Mighty name.
