Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

There is strength in joining forces to accomplish any purpose here on earth. Better results are achieved by pooling resources together.

Two are better than one because the results achieved far exceed what the individual persons would have achieved on their own.

We complement each other, our strengths and weaknesses are well managed to get the most return when working together. One lifts the other up in times of need. As christians we get encouraged by other brethren when we are disheartened, how can you receive counsel and encouragement if you stand alone like an island.

May the Lord help us to recognise the strength and great results we obtain from working together with others. May the blessings of the Lord abound in your life today and forever more in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Love and Encourage others to Love and Do Good

and let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds,

Hallelujah ! Glory, Praise and honour be unto God for this beautiful day. May the joy of the Lord be with you throughout this beautiful day.

We are created in the image of God to do good works. Jesus Christ said we shall do greater works! We therefore honour God for any opportunity to fulfil scripture.

Today’s Word says we should encourage one another to Love and Do Good! This is a summary of the life of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Let us therefore practice this firstly ourselves and therefore encourage others to do likewise.

We cannot preach what we are not! Apostle Paul said “imitate me as I imitate Christ”, we should therefore let our lives encourage those around us to live Christlike lives.

May the Lord help us to love others so we spread His live by encouraging others to do likewise. May we abide by the Word of God and get others also connected to Jesus Christ and live likewise till His coming. Amen.

Fruitless branches are cut down while Fruitful branches are pruned

Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that continues to bear fruit, He [repeatedly] prunes, so that it will bear more fruit [even richer and finer fruit].
John 15:2 AMP

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

God in Genesis 1:28 requested Fruitfulness from us, this was part of His very 1st charge to mankind after creation.

God the Son came to live amongst us and in today’s scripture admonishes all to be fruitful! Jesus Christ is the Vine and we are His branches, every branch that bears fruit is pruned so it can continue bearing much more fruit.

The branches that do not bear fruit are however cut off completely and therefore lose their source of life.

Are you bearing fruits as a child of God? Are you a fruitful branch or fruitless branch? What are you doing to populate God’s Kingdom as part of fruit bearing?

May greater grace abound in our lives so that we live as fruitful branches doing the Master’s business and yielding fruits for the Kingdom of God. May every fruitless activities be taken away so we yield greater fruits to His glory in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.

God created us in His image and likeness and has therefore endowed us with all that pertains to life and godliness.

We have been created as wonderful creatures of our Most High God to be His representatives here on earth and propagate His good news of peace to all mankind.

*Know ye that you are special to God and the Apple of His eye. Created fearfully and wonderfully by God as His representatives here on earth so let us keep up that ambassadorial role in high esteem.*

Repentance without Regrets produces Salvation

For [godly] sorrow that is in accord with the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but worldly sorrow [the hopeless sorrow of those who do not believe] produces death.

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it as we gather in His presence.

Today’s scripture is an admonition from Apostle Paul to the church at Corinth. The things of this world that make us grieve should point us to the Most High God.

Though we may grieve at some point in life, it should not be like we are hopeless and have been condemned to die hopelessly.

Apostle Paul says that even in the moment of grief and sorrow, we should see it as an opportunity for God to be glorified and for us to consolidate our salvation in Christ Jesus. That is what we stand for as children of God, *every situation we find ourselves in should have to end up pointing people to Christ for salvation*.

May the Lord be our strength and may His grace be sufficient for this beautiful day. May every challenge we encounter draw others and ourselves closer to Jesus Christ. May His presence be with you throughout your life in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Be Wise and Build on a Solid foundation

The words that Jesus Christ spoke to the crowds are as relevant today as they were at that time. These are wise sayings that transform lives when applied to one’s life.

What is our reaction to the Word of God? Do we hear but still prefer to do what our carnal minds tell us?

To be a wise person, you must hear the Word of God and act according to what is said or written therein. That is the surest way to build the foundation that will stand.

The one who hears the Word of God and acts on them is likened to a wise person who builds on an unshakeable foundation. May this be your portion in Jesus Mighty name. May every step you take be built on the foundation of the Word of God so it will stand firm.

May every foundation of ours be immovable and unshakeable, may it withstand the test of time, may it be practical, relevant and far sighted. May the Lord help us to accomplish His purposes in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Praise the name of the Lord at all times

The book of Ephesians says that we were created for His workmanship, if we do not worship and praise the Lord, He can cause stones to that!

The Lord deserves to be praised at all times. The creator of the universe should be exalted and glorified morning, noon and evening. The Psalmist says that from the rising of the sun till its going down we should praise the Lord. In other words so far as the breath of life is in us the name of the Lord must be praised.

Be exalted, be lifted up, may your Holy name be magnified. We praise and adore you for all the great and mighty things you do for us, with us and through us. Praise the Lord! Praise Jesus now and forever more! Amen.

Take up your Cross and Follow Jesus

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me].

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Jesus laid down the conditions required for the disciples to be able to work effectively and efficiently in the ministry.

Firstly, He called for self sacrifice to be able to follow Jesus Christ, set aside self interest and look at the bigger picture of serving the Lord selflessly.

Be ready and willing to go all out for Jesus! The willingness to endure any challenge that might come for the sake of the gospel reaching the utter most part of the world.

Pattern your life after Jesus Christ so that as the world sees you they are reading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Following Jesus’ life without any compromise so that your life will point others to Christ.

May Jesus be seen in our lives, may we be the carriers of the gospel, may we be instruments of God’s love and may the lost be saved through our obedience. God bless you. Amen.

He who has ears must Listen and hear the Word of the Lord!

He who has ears to hear, let him hear and heed My words.

What a piece of thought provoking scripture we have today. This statement came about as a result of a question John the Baptist sent from prison through His disciples to Jesus. John the Baptist the forerunner of Jesus wanted to know and be sure whether Jesus Christ was actually the Messiah!

Interesting and practical response that Jesus Christ sent to John. Hallelujah, He referred John the Baptist’s disciples to what was happening in His ministry and asked them to observe, recount and go report to their master.

Glory! He said apart from all the great miracles taking place ,the Word is being preached to the people! We have the Word of God also being preached today through so many channels, have we listened and heard the gospel of Jesus Christ?

Is Jesus Christ your Lord and Personal Saviour? Can you say that you have heard His message and have heeded to His Word. The day’s scripture is challenging us not to end today without giving heed to the Word of God and surrendering our lives to Jesus Christ.

Thank you Lord Jesus for the salvation message, May it be so real in our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Be our Lord and Saviour to the end in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

God’s Fresh Mercies and Compassion are available every morning

It is because of the Lord’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, Because His [tender] compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness.

Praise and Glory be to God for this beautiful day, this is the day that the Lord has made and we should rejoice and be glad in it.

Thanking God that it is because of His mercies and compassion that we are not consumed. His fresh daily supplies keep us going from one level to the other.

God’s compassion fail not, they are in the right measurement and always on time. What a mighty God we serve! His loving kindness envelopes us.

Great and beyond measure is the Faithfulness of God! This is so reassuring. A dependable God in all seasons and at all times.

May we receive the daily dosage of God’s mercies and compassion as we plug into His great faithfulness. Take your portion every morning and walk into your victorious day in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Faith Comes by Hearing the Word of God

So faith comes from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching of the] message concerning Christ.

Thanks be to God for His Word today that says Faith comes from the hearing of the Word of God that is preached.

The more we listen to the Word of God and hear what is said, we are building up our Faith which is very essential for our living and growth as children of God.

Keep listening and keep hearing the Word of God to boost and fortify your Shield of Faith that will ward off any fiery darts.

May Faith rise up in us as we continuously hear and study the Word of God. May our faith increase so that we will boldly stand for the Lord and declare His goodness to the world in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Wait Patiently for the Lord

I wait [patiently] for the Lord , my soul [expectantly] waits, And in His word do I hope.

Hallelujah to the King of Kings for this beautiful day. May greater grace abound in your life throughout this day.

Let us agree with the Psalmist that we shall wait patiently for the Lord. His Word is ye and amen, what he has said He will do.

The Lord is our refuge and banner, it is in Him we live and move and have our being so our trust and hope shall continually be in Him.

His Word is our anchor! Let’s continue to place our hope in His matchless Word! May we not run ahead of God’s Word for us and miss our way.
