Blessed is the one who Trusts in the Lord

“Blessed [with spiritual security] is the man who believes and trusts in and relies on the Lord And whose hope and confident expectation is the Lord .
JEREMIAH 17:7 AMP

Praise Jesus for a brand new day, His word says we should rejoice and be glad in it.

Our scripture for the day is very clear that those who trust in the Lord are already blessed. Today you have an opportunity to be a blessed child of God by trusting in Him.

By trusting in the Lord, you are saying that Father I do not have the strength and ability to do it myself so take control and lead me. If this is your desire then Trust in the Lord absolutely.

Trusting in God is relying on Him , placing your hope in Him with the firm believe that your expectations will come to pass.

May we believe and trust that God is sovereign and Omnipotent so if we trust in Him our expectations shall never be cut short. May we Trust completely in the Lord and remain blessed. Shalom

Ask God for Wisdom for this life

If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him.

Praise be to God for this beautiful day, the joy of the Lord be with you throughout your day and cause your day to be prosperous.

The bible says that Wisdom is the principal thing! You cannot survive in this life without wisdom. Thanks be to God who is ever ready to provide the wisdom we need for our lives.

Today’s scripture says that we should ask God for the wisdom we need so that we can take proper decisions that will guide our lives. It should not be for only major decisions in life but all the little things that we need guidance, let’s ask God for Wisdom.

He is a benevolent God who will give the wisdom generously without rebuke or blame. May we go freely to God for Wisdom to make our daily living smooth!

May the Wisdom of God dwell with us throughout this life, May it be tied around our necks and placed in our hearts and minds so all our steps and decisions guided by it in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Confidently Ask according to His will, He will hear

This is the [remarkable degree of] confidence which we [as believers are entitled to] have before Him: that if we ask anything according to His will, [that is, consistent with His plan and purpose] He hears us.

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and celebrate His goodness.

God hears us and answers our prayers once we are in His will.
Today’s word says that our confidence is in the Lord so we know that as our requests get to Him, He will come through for us.

Our communication(prayer) with the Lord should be consistent and in accordance with His divine plan and He will be there to answer us.

May the Lord answer you as you engage Him in prayer, may we place our confidence in the Lord and make our requests in accordance with His will. May your answers speedily come to pass in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Our Future Glory far surpasses present suffering

For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us!
ROMANS 8:18 AMP

Praise the Lord for a brand new day, rejoice and be glad in it.

The Apostle Paul went through a lot of challenges and difficulties in his ministry and therefore this statement is a reality check. Have you encountered any tough times in your walk with God. Have you been ridiculed for choosing to follow Christ? Have you been involved in outreaches in the most remote places, these call for a lot of sacrifices. What other sacrifices have you made for the sake of God’s Kingdom.

The day’s scripture tells us that our mind should be on the glory of the Lord that we shall experience in Christ when He comes for His own. The bible says in His Father’s house, there are many mansions prepared for those who will hold on to the Faith till the end.

Most High God help us to endure any challenges or difficulties we may encounter in our service to the Lord. May we keep trusting God to encounter the future Glory. May the Lord help us in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Hunger and Thirst for God’s Righteousness

“Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied.
MATTHEW 5:6 AMP

Glory and honour and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day, may the peace and joy of the Lord guide us this day through and through.

Thank God for His Word and the Sermon on the Mount which is very significant. The scripture says that we should hunger and thirst for God’s Righteousness, that is do everything possible to obtain righteousness. If the hunger is not enough to bring righteousness, the thirst will bring it!

Righteousness is simply living right with God so the desire to drink water on a daily basis must compare to our desire and longing to live right with God daily.

The scripture goes on to say that the one who hungers and thirsts for righteousness shall be satisfied and be a blessed person! We should therefore find this piece of scripture a joyful thing to do to court the blessings of the Most High God.

May we hunger and thirst for righteousness so we receive satisfaction from God. May we receive the joyful nourishment of God’s goodness as we seek His righteousness in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Don’t be anxious but pray!

Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.
(PHILIPPIANS 4:6 AMP)

Praise the Lord for the gift of life and a blessed day to celebrate the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living in this new decade and year.

Apostle Paul charged the church in Philippi to look up to God for all solutions. The cares of life can swallow us up and we may become depressed and frustrated in life.

Earlier in Jesus’ time and His teachings, He made us aware that even in our anxious moments there is absolutely nothing that we can do, we cannot even add a strand of hair to what has been given us from above.

The charge by Apostle Paul therefore to pray in whatever situation we find ourselves is the answer we need to move on in this life. We should make our requests known to God the Father who will sort us out!

The scripture says that we should continue to make our requests known to God through our prayers, petitions and thanksgiving. We therefore have to pray all types of prayers and also be consistent in our prayer.

May the Lord help us not to despair and saturate ourselves in anxiety but to call upon His name in all situations, believing that He is the I Am that I am God and He will come through for us in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Draw near to God and He will be near to you

Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people].
JAMES 4:8 AMP

Hallelujah! Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day. May the joy and gladness of the day fill our hearts.

Today’s scripture says that we should draw near to God and God will draw near to us once we cleanse our minds and hearts of any sins and double mindedness.

What a condition to get God closer to you! Wash your hands you sinners and purge/purify your hearts you double minded people so that God can come close to us,Wow!

In this same book of James, the scriptures have indicated that because of double mindedness we don’t receive from the Lord when we ask. It is therefore important that we completely deal with double mindedness, get our hearts and our hands “clean” so we can get God closer to us.

Father we ask for mercy and grace to be able to live to please you so that as we draw closer to you, you will be with us throughout the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Seek the Lord Wholeheartedly

‘Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
JEREMIAH 29:13 AMP

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

The Lord is nigh to those who seek Him! The Prophet Jeremiah tells us one deep truth of encountering the Lord personally.

In this new decade, in this new year 2020, Seek the Lord! Follow hard after the Lord with all your heart and you shall find Him. It is the desire with which we seek the Lord, the longing after (Psalm 42:1….As the deer pants for water, so shall our souls thirst for you Lord…) the Lord that makes the difference. Definitely anything that we seek with all our hearts and minds, we are sure to locate.

Let’s make the Lord our great treasure that we continually seek diligently such that if we don’t follow after Him hard we feel something is missing in our lives. That should be our lifestyle!

May we find the Lord as we seek Him with all our hearts. May the Lord be a vital necessity in our lives. May the Lord be real in our lives, hearts and minds!

Commit your Works to the Lord

Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him], And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].

Thanks be to God for His continuous guidance and leadership, anything we place in His hands, He preserves and nurtures.

Today’s scripture says that we should commit our works to the Lord, it literally means surrendering our all to the Lord. What are our works or plans that we think we can handle on our own? Submit them today into the hands of the Master and trust Him to lead the way.

God is a faithful God and will provide the direction and guidance that you need for your plans to succeed. Let us place our absolute trust in the Lord and look out for His outputs for us. You shall succeed with Master Jesus in charge in Jesus Mighty name,Amen.

Teach us to number our days so we apply our hearts to Wisdom

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Dear Lord teach us to number our days, let us be mindful of the days you have given unto us and live like we shall one day be accountable to you.

May our minds be drawn to Jesus’ words that He is gone to the Father to prepare a place for us. This should let us know that this world is not our final destination. It is the type of life we lead here on earth that will determine where we end up.

If we accept the Word of God and make a wise choice to live for Jesus Christ, we prepare ourselves for His 2nd coming and our place in eternity.

May the wisdom of God guide our walk here on earth, May it envelope our hearts and minds so that we can live a worthy live that will also attract others to follow Jesus Christ. May this and many more beautiful days be our portion in Jesus Mighty name.

The Lord Direct your Steps and Establish Them

A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], But the Lord directs his steps and establishes them.

Praise be to God for ushering us into the year 2020 and also a new decade. May His name alone be praised.

Many are the plans and schemes that are designed by man using our own mind and thinking but there is a great God who knows the end from the beginning. A God who has already scanned through the entire decade and the year 2020!

The Lord therefore takes a look at our man-made plans and re-hatches, re-formats, re-moulds, redesigns them for His children.

In 2020, May the Lord always come through to re-shape your plans for your good. May He guide and direct your steps so that they are fully established and rooted in Him. May no step of yours go astray this year because the Lord is with you to direct your affairs.

May His joy, peace, grace, favour, laughter, glory, honour and enlargement go ahead of you this year in Jesus Mighty name. Receive the overtaking anointing for greater works in Jesus name. Happy blessed New year!
