Ask God for Wisdom

If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him.
JAMES 1:5 AMP

Praise be to God for this beautiful day, the joy of the Lord be with you throughout your day and cause your day to be prosperous.

The bible says that Wisdom is the principal thing! You cannot survive in this life without wisdom. Thanks be to God who is ever ready to provide the wisdom we need for our lives.

Today’s scripture says that we should ask God for the wisdom we need so that we can take proper decisions that will guide our lives. It should not be for only major decisions in life but all the little things that we need guidance, let’s ask God for Wisdom.

He is a benevolent God who will give the wisdom generously without rebuke or blame. May we go freely to God for Wisdom to make our daily living smooth!

May Wisdom dwell with us throughout this life, May it be tied around our necks and placed in our hearts and minds so all our steps and decisions guided by it in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

God Hears Us

This is the [remarkable degree of] confidence which we [as believers are entitled to] have before Him: that if we ask anything according to His will, [that is, consistent with His plan and purpose] He hears us.
1 JOHN 5:14 AMP

Hallelujah! Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day, May the joy and peace of God abide with us throughout this day.

God is our ever present help in time of need! We go to Him because His Word says we should call on Him so He can answer and show us great truths we don’t know about!

Today’s scripture re-affirms the position that once we call on God, He hears us. That is the confidence we need to develop or have in Him.

God therefore hears us if we are asking according to His plans and purposes for us, if we have not heard from God in respect of our request we should be calm and wait, our prayer should be Father if it is your will, let it come to pass. It is important that we remain in God’s perfect plan for us.

May the Lord hear us as we come to Him and may we receive answers to our prayers that are in His plans for us. Remain blessed greatly. Amen.

Hunger and Thirst for God’s Righteousness

“Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied.
MATTHEW 5:6 AMP

Glory and honour and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day, may the peace and joy of the Lord guide us this day through and through.

Thank God for His Word and the Sermon on the Mount which is very significant. The scripture says that we should hunger and thirst for God’s Righteousness, that is do everything possible to obtain righteousness. If the hunger is not enough to bring righteousness, the thirst will bring it!

Righteousness is simply living right with God so the desire to drink water on a daily basis must compare to our desire and longing to live right with God daily.

The scripture goes on to say that the one who hungers and thirsts for righteousness shall be satisfied and be a blessed person! We should therefore find this piece of scripture a joyful thing to do to court the blessings of the Most High God.
May we receive the joyful nourishment of God’s goodness as we seek His righteousness in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Draw near to God and he will be near to you

Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people].

Today’s scripture says that we should draw near to God and God will draw near to us once we cleanse our minds and hearts of any sins and double mindedness.

What a condition to get God closer to you! Wash your hands you sinners and purge/purify your hearts you double minded people so that God can come close to us,Wow!

In this same book of James, the scriptures have indicated that because of double mindedness we don’t receive from the Lord when we ask. It is therefore important that we completely deal with double mindedness, get our hearts and our hands “clean” so we can get God closer to us.

Father we ask for mercy and grace to be able to live to please you so that as we draw closer to you, you will be with us throughout the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Seek the Lord Wholeheartedly

‘Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
JEREMIAH 29:13 AMP

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

The Lord is nigh to those who seek Him! The Prophet Jeremiah tells us one deep truth of encountering the Lord personally.

Seek the Lord! Follow hard after the Lord with all your heart and you shall find Him. It is the desire with which we seek the Lord, the longing after (Psalm 42:1….As the deer pants for water, so shall our souls thirst for you Lord…) the Lord that makes the difference. Definitely anything that find with all our hearts and minds, we are sure to locate.

Let’s make the Lord our great treasure that we continually seek diligently such that if we don’t follow after Him hard we feel something is missing in our lives. That should be our lifestyle!

May we find the Lord as we seek Him with all our hearts. May the Lord be real in our lives, hearts and minds. May the Lord be real in our lives!

Commit your Works to the Lord

Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him], And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].

Thanks be to God for His continuous guidance and leadership, anything we place in His hands, He preserves and nurtures.

Today’s scripture says that we should commit our works to the Lord, it literally means surrendering our all to the Lord. What are our works that we think we can handle on our own? Submit them today into the hands of the Master and trust Him to lead the way.

He is a faithful God and will provide the direction and guidance that you need for your plans to succeed. Let us place our absolute trust in the Lord and look out for His outputs for us. You shall succeed with Master Jesus in charge, Amen.

Teach us to number our days so we apply our hearts to Wisdom

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Dear Lord teach us to number our days, let us be mindful of the days you have given unto us and live like we shall one day be accountable to you.

May our minds be drawn to Jesus’ words that He is gone to the Father to prepare a place for us. This should let us know that this world is not our final destination. It is the type of life we lead here on earth that will determine where we end up.

If we accept the Word of God and make a wise choice to live for Jesus Christ, we prepare ourselves for His 2nd coming and our place in eternity.

May the wisdom of God guide our walk here on earth, May it envelope our hearts and minds so that we can live a worthy live that will also attract others to follow Jesus Christ. May this and many more beautiful our portion in Jesus Mighty name.

The Lord Direct your Steps and Establish Them

A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], But the Lord directs his steps and establishes them.

Praise be to God for ushering us into the year 2019. May His name alone be praised.

Many are the plans and schemes that is designed by man using our own mind and thinking but there is a great God who knows the end from the beginning.

The Lord takes a look at the plans and re-hatches, re-formats, re-moulds, redesigns them for His children.

In 2019, May the Lord always come through to re-shape your plans for your good. May He guide and direct your steps so that they are fully established and rooted in Him. May no step of yours go astray this year because the Lord is with you to direct affairs.

May His joy, peace, grace, favour, laughter, glory, honour and enlargement go ahead of you this year in Jesus Mighty name. Receive the overtaking anointing for greater works in Jesus name. Happy New year!

You are a New Creature in Christ

Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].

Let’s sing Hallelujah to the King of Kings. Glory and honour be unto God for this last day of the year 2018. Indeed His grace and mercies have brought us this far.

We are thankful unto God for the provision in today’s scripture, Christ Jesus refreshes us, when you come to Him,you are adorned and beautified spiritually and physically.

Once the heart believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the mouth confesses, there is the translation from the Kingdom of darkness into God’s marvellous Kingdom and the Holy Spirit takes over.

A new person who is guided and directed by the Holy Spirit is birthed spiritually. All the old things now give way to a new life in Christ Jesus!

May this be the testimony of many that my life has become brand new in Christ Jesus, to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour on this last day of the year is even more symbolic.

May the Grace of God abound and see us through today and usher us into a more fruitful 2019. Remain blessed in Christ Jesus.

God Abides in the one who confesses Jesus is Lord

Whoever confesses and acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

The Lord is with us and dwells in us once we confess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. He comes to indwell us and guide us live our lives in accordance with the Word of God.

Let us therefore confess Jesus as Lord and personal Saviour at this time of the year before the year closes. He will come and indwell you and you also in Him.

May we enjoy His in dwelling and ever presence in our lives as hold on to Him as our Lord and Saviour. May Jesus Christ be real to us in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Love your Enemies and do Them Good

But love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; for your reward will be great (rich, abundant), and you will be sons of the Most High; because He Himself is kind and gracious and good to the ungrateful and the wicked.
LUKE 6:35 AMP

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

God is Love! Beloved, let us love one another for Love is of God. Today’s scripture says that we should love our enemies and do good to them. It further explains that we should seek their interest and good too. Wooow, it is not easy to do humanly speaking but the Bible says DO IT!

We are urged not only to love our enemies but to do good to them, that is care for them, provide their needs and be interested in what protects and also promotes their lives. In all these, expect nothing in return!

Why do we have to go through such a tough time loving our enemies? It is because God who has called us has asked that we do so and He has already set an example for us to follow.

May greater grace abound in your life to be able to live in accordance with the Word of God given us this day in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
