Love is the Greatest Gift

And if I have the gift of prophecy [and speak a new message from God to the people], and understand all mysteries, and [possess] all knowledge; and if I have all [sufficient] faith so that I can remove mountains, but do not have love [reaching out to others], I am nothing.
(1 CORINTHIANS 13:2 AMP)

Praise be to God for this beautiful day, may the joy of His presence be our strength. Experience His peace.

Thanks be to for the various gifts He has blessed His church with. The gifts of prophecy, understanding of mysteries and possession of knowledge. The gift of Faith is another big one! These are powerful and important to the church.

The focus however of Apostle Paul in this morning’s scripture is that all these gifts of God thrive on LOVE! Where Love is absent how effectively do we operate in these gifts? Who do we minister to where love is absent? If we don’t care about OTHERS, how do we reach out to them and prophesy to them, speak mysteries to etc?. LOVE indeed is the Greatest (1 Cor 13:13).

May the true love of God reign in our hearts and minds and be the basis for all that we do in the Lord. May it guide and order our steps in our daily walk with the Lord. Love someone today, Love always, for without Love we are nothing! God bless us all. Amen.

The Lord is good, Our Strength and Refuge

The Lord is good, A strength and stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows [He recognizes, cares for, and understands fully] those who take refuge and trust in Him.

Glory and honour and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

The Lord is good! A strength and stronghold for us in times of trouble! Where your strength and abilities cannot handle, there is an amazing God who is there for you. Very soothing to the ear.

As a loving and caring God, He knows when to step into a situation and save His own, may the Lord always be on hand to redeem us from trouble.

May we continue to trust in Him and take refuge in this great and mighty God. His name is a strong tower that the righteous come to and are safe. Rest under His care and protection and let God be your shield and defence by absolutely trusting Him.

Saved by God’s Grace

For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation].

Awesome! It is amazing! Thanks be to God for His amazing grace that has saved us through Faith.

Praise be unto God for this beautiful day and for the fact that we did not have to play any role to get saved so that we might boast about it. Just believe and confess Jesus is Lord!

God in His infinite wisdom gifted us with salvation by having compassion on us and releasing His only begotten son to die to set us free from sin and death.

Thank you Lord Jesus for this great gift of Salvation, we cherish it and shall continue to hold it in high esteem for it is very precious.

May the Grace of God continue to be with us and sustain us in this great gift of Salvation till the coming of the Lord in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

More than a Conqueror

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us].
ROMANS 8:37 AMP

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new month and the last month of the year. Glory to God for guiding us to this day and preserving us from January till this day.

Victory belongs to Jesus Christ! He alone is God and has won the victory for us! Many are the afflictions that come our way but we have victory in Jesus. Nothing, I mean absolutely nothing is able to separate us from the love of God, in the name of Jesus we are more than conquerors.

The scripture says that our victory is an overwhelming one that is rooted in Christ Jesus, may we walk in this great victory and wax greater in Jesus Mighty name.

May all your battles be under control as you confront them with the name of Jesus Christ, you are more than a Conqueror, walk in your overwhelming victory. Happy New Month and have a victorious last month of the year in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Forgive and you shall be forgiven

“Do not judge [others self-righteously], and you will not be judged; do not condemn [others when you are guilty and unrepentant], and you will not be condemned [for your hypocrisy]; pardon [others when they truly repent and change], and you will be pardoned [when you truly repent and change].

(LUKE 6:37 AMP)
Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the last day of the month November. 
Our creator made us in His image but along the way we sinned and fell short of the glory of God. His grace and mercies found us worthy of forgiveness so He made His only begotten son to die to set us free from sin and death. We received forgiveness and have been set free.
The words Jesus spoke in today’s scriptures are to caution us to be patient with one another. We should not be in a hurry to judge or condemn others. The same way God had mercy on mankind is the way we should treat our fellow brethren. We should be ready to  accommodate others and not be quick to condemn them.
Forgive one another is the main theme here, we need to find a way to let go and to pardon the one we consider has offended us. That is the example Jesus Christ himself left for us and we ought to consciously work at forgiving one another.
May we receive the Grace to be able to make it by forgiving one another and living a peaceable life in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Believe in your heart, Confess with your Mouth -Jesus is Lord

For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous–being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation.
(ROMANS 10:10 AMP)

Praise God for a brand new day and the blessings of seeing the day. It is a gift from God and we appreciate dearly.

Today Salvation has come to us all to embrace especially those of us who are yet to receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. The steps are very simple and captured in our heading for today.

Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Saviour and declare it by opening your mouth to confess it by saying this simple prayer.

Lord Jesus I accept you as my Lord and Personal Saviour, forgive me and cleanse me of all my sins, come and live in me and take total control over my life. Please write my name in the Book of Life in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.”

This simple prayer translates you from the kingdom of darkness into God’s marvellous Kingdom and hands over to you the free gift of Salvation. Jesus is Lord over your life and get a Bible believing church to fellowship if you don’t already belong to one.

May the Grace of God keep all us in Him till His coming so we shall surely make it to heaven. Amen.

Delight yourself in the Lord and receive from Him your heart desires

Delight yourself in the Lord , And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart.

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the joy of being alive to celebrate His goodness.

King David wrote this special Psalm and started by saying forget the evil doers, the detractors etc for they will wither away quickly but Trust in the Lord and do good before he continued with today’s scripture.

Delight yourself or enjoy yourself in the Lord, make a joyful noise to the King of Kings for this beautiful day, shout out His glory. Give Him unending praise, Worship His majesty, exalt His holy name, clap all ye people!

Hallelujah! The Lord be glorified now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name! We are delighting ourselves in the Lord today, give Him all the appellations you have and can construct for He alone is Worthy of that.

The scripture tells me that as we delight ourselves in the Lord, He is releasing unto us our heart desires and petitions. Receive your portion in Jesus Mighty name. Enjoy God’s goodness in the land of the living as we delight in Him. Amen.

God’s Mercy, Lovingkindness and Faithfulness are Everlasting

After thanksgiving and Praise to enter the gates and courts of the Most High God, it is important to acknowledge His goodness and greatness.

The scripture says that God is good, He is good to you and I, He is good all the time even moments that we question that where is God. He is good all the time.

Enjoy the tender and multitude mercies of God, they are new every morning and available for us. It is by the mercies of God that we are not consumed. Tap into the everlasting loving kindness and Faithfulness of the Lord. These are available for us to enjoy all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Honour and Glorify God with your body

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you, whom you have [received as a gift] from God, and that you are not your own [property]? You were bought with a price [you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]. So then, honor and glorify God with your body.
(1 CORINTHIANS 6:19‭-‬20 AMP)

Hallelujah and Glory be to God for this beautiful day. Let us join the psalmist in saying I was glad when they said, let us go into the House of the Lord (Psalm 122). Enjoy the gladness of the Lord.

Today, bible is reminding us that our bodies do not belong to us once Jesus Christ has died to purchase us from Sin and death. Our bodies are now the dwelling place of the Most High God and there must be handled carefully. The Holy Spirit dwells in us.

All our actions with our body must now please the one who purchased with His precious blood and dwells in us. Let us therefore pause and ask ourselves all the time whether the action we are taking honours God.

Grieve not the Holy Spirit that dwells in you by dragging your Body in the mud (engaging in acts of adultery, fornication, lesbianism, homosexuality etc that do not glorify God).

May every activity of ours bring glory and honour to our God. May your temple always be a Holy Temple with a sweet aroma of the presence of God. Blessed Sunday, go worship and praise God today.

Jesus, The Light of the World

“Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, “ I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.””

Praise and glory be to God for this day, may the joy of His presence envelope us.

Jesus Christ is the Son of the Most High God who came to die to save the world. He is the only begotten son of the Most High and the Saviour of the world.

Jesus Christ is the Light of the world! His death and resurrection brought eternal life to us, taking us out of darkness into His marvelous light. It is in His light that people receive their salvation, healing, deliverance, blessings and eternal life.

Are you inside the Light of Jesus Christ? If not right now is your opportunity to accept Him as your Lord and Personal Saviour to crossover from darkness into His marvelous light.

May the Light of Life be your perpetual dwelling till the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Shine your light to lead many to Christ. Come to the Light of Jesus Christ today and have eternal life,Amen.

Glorify, Honour and Praise God

Now may the God who gives endurance and who supplies encouragement grant that you be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify and praise and honor the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

It has been a week of giving thanks to the Most High God and today is no exception. May the name of the Lord be glorified now and forever more.

Apostle Paul charged that we should strive to have the mind of Christ, that gives us a firm foundation to be able to give the due honour to the Most High God. May we receive the encouragement and staying power to focus on Christ Jesus.

May our hearts and minds glorify Him. May all honour be unto His holy name. May our ceaseless praise be unto our maker and creator of the universe, the Most High God, the I am that I am God. May His praise continually be part of our daily lives.
