You are the light of the World

“You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;”
MATTHEW 5:14 AMP

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

The scripture for today says we are the Light of this world. That means if we do not glow and bright the world will experience darkness.

Jesus Christ is the answer to the world! The Light of the world and therefore must shine to attract people to Christ. As light we need to be on the hill, that is strategically positioned to brighten up where we are for others to find the path to Jesus Christ.

As the Light of Christ we are compared to the City on the Hill that cannot be hidden, we cannot but to brighten up where we are to lead people to the Light of the world.

May our lights glow wherever we find ourselves.May we keep shining and illuminate the world for Jesus to be glorified. Glory be to God! Light your world for Jesus!

Pray at all times in the Spirit with all types of Prayer

With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all God’s people.
(Ephesians 6:18 AMP)

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Bible requires us to pray without ceasing! Today’s scripture charges us to pray all kinds of Prayer at all times in the Spirit. Praying at all times calls for us being intentional about making quick brief prayers throughout your day.

We could make quick prayers without having to isolate yourself from people and work. Once we make prayer our way of life, we can whisper to the Lord in the course of daily activities.

Our prayers must include intercession, thanksgiving and petitions for all of God’s children.

May we always be found standing in the gap praying all kinds of Prayer for God’s people. May the God of Jacob answer us from Zion at all times in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Continue Doing Good

Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.
(GALATIANS 6:9 AMP)

Glory be to God for this beautiful day. May His joy remain with you throughout today.

The great apostle admonished the Galatians and the scripture speaks to us today. The charge is to keep doing good, not doing it once and going to sleep.

Do not be tired or grow weary in doing good, in showing love to others, in helping others, in providing for others, in supporting others, in assisting others!

The scripture says that in all these, our mind and focus should not be on the reward we will get in helping others but that we should do whatever it is from the heart. It is the God who sees in secret who will reward you abundantly at the right time. Do not grow tired or weary in serving others.

May Jehovah reward you and smile at you as you keep blessing others. May we not grow weary in doing good in Jesus Mighty name.Glory to God!

Blessed are the Peacemakers for they shall be called Sons of God

“Blessed [spiritually calm with life-joy in God’s favor] are the makers and maintainers of peace, for they will [express His character and] be called the sons of God.
MATTHEW 5:9 AMP

Hallelujah to the King of Kings for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Jesus Christ taught these beatitudes as part of the sermon on the mount. It was His 1st teaching session when He started His ministry here on earth.

The beatitudes have been explained as the ” be attitudes” expected of all children of God. Today’s “be attitude” is on being peace makers. The version of scripture described peacemakers as the makers and maintainers of peace! This means that it is not enough to make peace but to strive to maintain peace.

Bible says that as much as it depends on us we should strive to be at peace with all men! This is the qualification required to be called a child of God. The Peace maker always reflects the character and being of the Most High God.

May we be peacemakers in this world, may we maintain the peace that we create. May we be the true agents of God’s peace that passes all understanding, may we have and live the attitude of Peace. Amen.

Jesus Christ our Eternal Saviour

After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace [who imparts His blessing and favor], who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will Himself complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you [making you what you ought to be].
1 PETER 5:10 AMP

The grace of God abounds and is a free gift to enjoy. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivered them out of it all.

Praise God for the availability of Jesus Christ to deliver us from the bondage of sin and give unto us eternal life.

God already had all of us in His plan so in spite of the “plenty roaming”, our time to come to His Saving grace is known to Him. He is the God of all Grace and calls us unto Himself to impart His blessings and favour.

Our call by God places us in a distinguished and privileged position. The Lord completes our salvation and confirms us as part of His Kingdom. He strengthens and establishes us as His beloved children empowered to take dominion over the earth.

May the blessings of the privileged and distinguished abound in your life now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name.Remain blessed, fruitful and take dominion. Amen.

Seek the Lord Wholeheartedly

‘Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
JEREMIAH 29:13 AMP

The Lord is nigh to those who seek Him! The Prophet Jeremiah tells us one deep truth of encountering the Lord personally.

Seek the Lord! Follow hard after the Lord with all your heart and you shall find Him. It is the desire with which we seek the Lord, the longing after (Psalm 42:1….As the deer pants for water, so shall our souls thirst for you Lord…) the Lord that makes the difference. Definitely anything that we search or seek with all our hearts and minds, we are sure to locate.

Let’s make the Lord our great treasure that we continually seek diligently such that if we don’t follow hard after Him we feel something is missing in our lives. That should be our lifestyle!

May we find the Lord as we seek Him with all our hearts. May the Lord be real in our lives, hearts and minds. May the Lord be the real treasure in our lives in Jesus Mighty name.

The Lord Directs your Steps and Establishes Them

A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], But the Lord directs his steps and establishes them.
PROVERBS 16:9 AMP

Praise be to God for this beautiful day. May His name alone be praised and glorified.

Many are the plans and schemes that are designed by man using our own mind and thinking but there is a great God who knows the end from the beginning. Our God has already scanned through the entire year and knows what is in stock.

The Lord therefore takes a look at our man-made plans and re-hatches, re-formats, re-moulds, redesigns them for His children.

May the Lord always come through to re-shape your plans for your good.
May His joy, peace, grace, favour, laughter, glory, honour and enlargement go ahead of you this year in Jesus Mighty name.

May the Lord guide and direct your steps so that they are fully established and rooted in Him. May no step of yours go astray this year because the Lord is with you to direct your affairs. Receive the overtaking anointing for greater works in Jesus name.

God’s Peace be with you

And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].

Blessed be the name of the Lord our God who only gives good things to His children. We thank God for the Peace He gives unto His children.

The Peace of God that passes all understanding, the Peace that no man is able to unravel, that is the Peace that the Most High God bestows on His children.

The Peace of God that reassures, the peace that guards the heart and mind be yours in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

May the peace of God be multiplied unto us in our rising up and our going to bed. May this peace that transcends all understanding abide in our homes now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Blessed are those persecuted for righteousness sake

“Blessed [comforted by inner peace and God’s love] are those who are persecuted for doing that which is morally right, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [both now and forever].

Today’s scripture was delivered as part of Jesus’ sermon on the Mount.

Jesus said that for everyone that is persecuted for righteousness sake, the kingdom of Heaven shall be your reward. Therefore anyone who strives to live a godly and upright life for the Lord and is being called names today like “holy holy”, Maame Osofo, Spirito etc should count it joy because of the ultimate reward.

The rewards are even for now and forever more, stay on the righteousness path with the Lord and your reward shall be both physical and spiritual which is the ultimate reward of eternal life.

May the Lord grant us the grace that we need to stay and walk in righteousness till the very end so we do not miss out on His ultimate reward. Remain blessed as you keep doing what is morally right with and for God’s kingdom. Amen.

Ask God for Wisdom

If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him.
(JAMES 1:5 AMP)

Praise be to God for this beautiful day, the joy of the Lord be with you throughout your day and cause your day to be prosperous.

The Bible says that Wisdom is the principal thing! You cannot survive in this life without wisdom. Thanks be to God who is ever ready to provide the wisdom we need for our lives.

Today’s scripture says that we should ask God for the wisdom we need so that we can take proper decisions that will guide our lives. It should not be for only major decisions in life but all the little things that we need guidance, let’s ask God for Wisdom.

He is a benevolent God who will give the wisdom generously without rebuke or blame. May we go freely to God for Wisdom to make our daily living smooth!

May Wisdom dwell with us throughout this life, May it be tied around our necks and placed in our hearts and minds so all our steps and decisions guided by it in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Love One Another

I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too are to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you have love and unselfish concern for one another.”
JOHN 13:34‭-‬35 AMP

Praise God for a brand new day and the opportunity to connect to the Most High God.

Jesus Christ spoke to His disciples about His betrayal and then proceeded to give them this new commandment. Love is the basis for which The Almighty God gave us Jesus Christ in the first place.

Jesus therefore reiterated the importance of Love by commanding His disciples to love one another and be ambassadors of Love. Their demonstrations of Love will serve as examples for others to follow.

This responsibility is now ours! Our lives should depict the Love of God in action such that it will attract others to come to this loving God.

Love should not be only by speeches but must reflect in the very lives that we live. People must feel and see love in action when they encounter us. In doing this we fulfil the new commandment given by Christ Jesus.

Father help us to be your agents of Love here on earth. May our Love be genuine and deep to bring others into your saving grace in Jesus’ Mighty name. Amen.

Encourage others to Love and Do Good

and let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds,
HEBREWS 10:24 AMP

Hallelujah ! Glory, Praise and honour be unto God for this beautiful day. May the joy of the Lord be with you throughout this beautiful Sunday.

We are created in the image of God to do good works. Jesus Christ said we shall do greater works! We therefore honour God for any opportunity to fulfil scripture.

Today’s Word says we should encourage one another to Love and Do Good! This is a summary of the life of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Let us therefore practice this firstly ourselves and therefore encourage others to do likewise.

We cannot preach what we are not! Apostle Paul said “imitate me as I imitate Christ”, we should therefore let our lives encourage those around us to live Christlike lives.

May the Lord help us to live according to the Word of God by doing good to others and being an example for many to emulate same. Help us Lord to do good deeds to all people in Jesus Mighty name.Amen.
