Hope in the Lord

Why are you in despair, O my soul? Why have you become restless and disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

Hallelujah, you have won the victory for us, death could not hold you down,you are the Risen King, seated in majesty! You are glorious and amazing, we thank you for ushering us into the 11th month of the year. Great Grace unto us all.

If it had not been the Lord on our side let the people of God say it ooo….mighty are your works o Lord.

This morning we read this scripture and we say that thank you Jesus, many things May be happening around us meant to discourage us and bring our spirit into despair, the economy May be bashing us, school fees pulling us, rent challenges, transportation issues, even money for food koraaa may be beating us up but in all these YOU ARE Lord.

The choice to make this morning as we start a fresh month is to HOPE in the LORD! The happenings around us are to bring us into despair, make us restless and disquieted but Our God reigns supreme and He is able to blaze through whatever storm we may have.

Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him for He is coming through for us, every storm will become calm with Jesus in the boat. Let us continually praise His holy name for He alone is God and we shall shall experience His visitation once we keep Hope alive! Have Faith in God and His unchangeable Word.

May the Mighty Hand of God deliver help to you in your time of need, May you encounter Him personally, receive it in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Perfect Love Casts out Fear

There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love].
1 JOHN 4:18 AMP

Hallelujah to the King of Kings, this is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

God’s love is so wonderful! Love is the greatest of all! The Love of God is the perfect love that is shared abroad in our hearts, this is the love that counts no wrong and therefore drives out Fear.

The scripture makes it clear to us that fear cannot co-habit with Love, once love is present, it casts out fear. God has not given us the spirit of fear or timidity but of boldness and sound mind which is powered by the love of God.

May the Love of God fill our hearts and minds to drive out any form of fear that prevents us from doing God’s perfect will for our lives. Let’s walk in the boldness and love of God. May greater love abound in your life in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Overcome Evil with Good

Do not be overcome and conquered by evil, but overcome evil with good.
(ROMANS 12:21 AMP)

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

The beginning of this chapter talks about the renewal and transformation of our mind and seeking to do what is the perfect and acceptable will of God.

The book of Romans also says that we are more than conquerors through Christ. Today’s scripture says that we should not be overcome and conquered by evil but we should overcome evil with good.

Christ Jesus dwells in us and we are carriers of good news, we are conquerors and overcomers so we should overcome evil. We should not allow evil to defeat us.

We should not pay back evil with evil, as far as you can, live peaceably with all men for vengeance is the Lord’s. Strive to overcome and conquer evil with good. As you obey and fulfil God’s word, His blessings and covering shall be your portion in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Walk by Faith not by Sight

for we walk by faith, not by sight [living our lives in a manner consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises]–

Glory and Praise to our God for the blessings of a brand new day, honour and adoration be unto Him.

Walking by Sight is seeing before believing, we learn from the teachings of Jesus that, Blessed are those who have not seen yet believe.

Walking by Faith is placing absolute trust and belief in the Word of God and the Most High God and going all out to take Him at His Word. No doubt at all about the Word, the promises of God concerning our lives.

Total trust in God and walking by this trust is walking in faith which is pleasing to our God. The amplified bible says living our lives consistent with our confident belief in God’s promises. His Word is yet and Amen so we take Him by the Word.

May the Lord help us to walk completely by Faith and not by Sight in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Unfailing Love Covers a Multitude of Sins

Above all, have fervent and unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins [it overlooks unkindness and unselfishly seeks the best for others].
(1 PETER 4:8 AMP)

Glory be to God for this beautiful day, May the glory shine forth our paths and illuminate our lives.

Love is the greatest of all! Today’s scripture says that we should have fervent and unfailing love for one another so that we can love unconditionally and overlook the mistakes of others.

Love covers a multitude of sins, you are able to forgive people and overlook their mistakes if you love them.

May we not grow weary in loving, it is a commandment to us and it is lovely to do so, there is so much joy in loving. May we continue to seek the best for others in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

For God has loved us with an Everlasting Love , God is Love and He is our example.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son to die to set us free from sin and death. This is the highest form of love one can experience and it is what should motivate and encourage us to love one another unconditionally.

We love because He first loved us…We have a great example of Love to follow….care for one another, take delight in the well being of others, May the salvation of others be of importance to us….Love should be in action. May we also be Love ambassadors and examples for others to learn to love from.

May the Love of God fill our hearts and minds and flow to all we encounter. May we be instruments of God’s love. God’s love be spread abroad in hearts now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Love your Enemies & Live Generously

“But I say to you who hear [Me and pay attention to My words]: Love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies, [make it a practice to] do good to those who hate you, bless and show kindness to those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
LUKE 6:27‭-‬28 AMP

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day, May the joy of the Lord be our portion in Jesus Mighty name.

This is a commandment by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, love your enemies and do good to those who hate.

This is following the unconditional love that Jesus exhibited here on earth, it is not easy to love your enemies, do good to those who hate you and show kindness to those who curse you. It is only with the help of the Holy Spirit that we can be energised to this.

Jesus Christ set the example for us to follow so we should strive to pray for those who curse us and love them. The amplified version says we should make it a practice.

God grant us great grace in multiples to be able to fulfil this scriptures. God bless you all and help us to accomplish His purposes in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Be Humble, Gentle, Patient and bearing with one another in Love

So I, the prisoner for the Lord, appeal to you to live a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called [that is, to live a life that exhibits godly character, moral courage, personal integrity, and mature behavior–a life that expresses gratitude to God for your salvation], with all humility [forsaking self-righteousness], and gentleness [maintaining self-control], with patience, bearing with one another in [unselfish] love. Make every effort to keep the oneness of the Spirit in the bond of peace [each individual working together to make the whole successful].

Hallelujah to the King of Kings for this beautiful day, rejoice and celebrate His goodness today.

Praise God for the life of Apostle Paul, a great charge to the Ephesus church and by extension to us today.

Child of God, live a life worthy of the calling of God. God should be proud that this is my son or daughter. This certainly will depend on how we live and interact with others.

Have respect for each person so that in our interactions Love becomes paramount, in this we need to be humble as in some cases we would have to “step down” a little to be able to show love.

We need to be gentle in our interactions, that portrays the respect we show towards people. Be patient with one another, this is a virtue we must possess at all times even in the midst of challenges.

Our ability to live with all people in the manner advised by Apostle Paul will bring great peace and joy to all mankind and the world will be a better place. May we receive the Grace to be ambassadors of Christ in this journey in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Cast your cares upon the Lord

Praise be to the Most High God for beautiful day, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Thanks be to God that we have a caring and loving Father we are able to approach at all times. A great father whose hands and heart are ready to receive His numerous children whenever they come no matter what they are carrying.

Amazing God we come to you this day and handover all our cares and anxieties to you. Everything that is bothering our minds and hearts we pass them over to you for your take over as we lighten our burdens.

We know that you care about us so please release us from all the worries that we have brought to ourselves because of the circumstances surrounding us and happenings around us, we surrender all to you Lord. Your love and affection for us is beyond understanding and measure, we therefore thank you immensely for taking the burdens off us and handling yourself.

Thank you Jesus for the world so sweet, only you can do such a thing for mankind and we are very grateful. May we handover every worry, anxiety, burden,challenge etc unto the Lord and walk and live lighter to His glory. Amen.

Chosen and Ordained Prophet to the Nations

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument], And before you were born I consecrated you [to Myself as My own]; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
(JEREMIAH 1:5 AMP)

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and joy of being part of it.

The Prophet Jeremiah had been by God even when he was in his mother’s womb to be a mouthpiece of the Lord. It is our turn now to believe and accept that we are the Jeremiahs of our day. Yes you have been marked for this great and higher service unto the Lord.

God has chosen us and prepared us as His vessels to carry the Word of the Lord to the Nations. That is His Word that cannot be broken. Actually chosen and consecrated.

May we be prophets that the Lord require to use for His glory around the world and in the Nations. May we avail ourselves for His service. May we not avoid the service of the Lord by giving excuses for we are already chosen and consecrated in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Train up a child in the Lord

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Praise God for the joy of the Lord that has been availed to us today.

We thank God for the lives of children and young people that He brings our way to impact. This scripture is clear and straight forward to the point. We need to take time and interest to nurture these young ones in the Lord. Teaching them to live in accordance with Godly wisdom and the requirements of the Bible.

This responsibility must be exercised by anyone who encounters little or young ones who can be taught something godly to improve their lives. We should not restrict this to only biological children. The seeds sown into these young ones will grow to become mighty.

God bless your efforts at making this impact in society, when we all take up this challenge we shall see a generation of upright people who are equipped to rule the world. Impact a champion today and the Lord will bless us all, Amen.

Meditate on These Things

Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart].

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful Sunday morning, May we celebrate His goodness today in a special way.

Today, Apostle Paul is speaking to us directly like he did to the church at Philippi so many years. The words are so relevant today, May be than the time he gave this charge.

Let us strive to do these, the things that are of good reports and are praiseworthy should be associated with us. The Apostle Paul made himself as an example to the people.

May the Lord help us to be able to live in accordance with the above scripture so that we can call on others to imitate us as we follow Christ. May the Grace to accomplish this be our portion in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
