Taking every thought captive to the Obedience of Jesus Christ

We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ,

Hallelujah! Thanking God for the power of God that is at work within us. This power of God is what enables us to deal with the sophisticated and proud arguments that challenge the existence and ability of the creator of the universe.

Thanks be to God that by His Word the entire universe was created and this is the same Word that is alive and active today working in us. We therefore use that authority and take captive of every thoughts that exalt itself above the knowledge of God. We subject them under the power and authority of God because there is no knowledge that compares to His.

May every thought and argument be brought to the Obedience of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. May we have the revelation that our knowledge and wisdom is nothing if Christ is not part of the equation. May Jehovah be our guide and help us to accomplish His purposes in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day, we will rejoice and be glad in it.

This is the prayer of King David and it is important that all of us as believers pray that kind of prayer. It is a prayer of full dedication to the Most High God. Complete surrender of our lives to the King of Glory.

Father as your children, we come before your throne and ask that you cleanse and purge us of any sin that will contaminate us and separate us from you.

We join King David to pray that let the words of our mouth and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable to you. Let the words that we speak minister grace to the hearers and bring transformation to lives.

Help us O Lord that our hearts and minds will only process things that will please you and are acceptable to you. May your grace help us to do this in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful Sunday morning and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

The Lord is our shepherd, refuge and our great provider. His name is Jehovah Jireh. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself taught us to pray and connect to the Source of all provisions. Give us this day our Daily Bread!

We need to trust the Most High God for our supplies and take anxiety out of lives. Bible says we should not be anxious for anything but in all things with prayer and supplication we should let our requests be known to the Lord.

May the Lord continue to provide us with our daily bread! May our trust in Him be unwavering and resolute. May the Almighty God be with us throughout our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Hallelujah! God is the creator of the universe and that is in it, we lift His name High above all.

We join King David to say that who are we at all that you have brought us this far and made us to be counted among your children today!

We gladly and boldly declare that our God is great and none compares to Him, we exalt your Holy Name and say that you alone are God and no one compares to you. What our eyes have seen and our ears have heard confirm that you alone are God and deserve all the glory and all the praise.

God is in Control Even in Turbulent Times

Even though I walk through the [sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort and console me.

PSALM 23:4 AMP

Hallelujah! God is good, all the time and all the time God is good! His grace and mercy abound.

From everlasting to everlasting our God changeth not and His loving kindness has no limitations. He cares for us and nurtures us no matter the situations we find ourselves in.

King David captured this nicely in his most popular psalm….even though we walk through the valley ( our lowest point in life) of the shadow of death (point of lost hope and life) God is still with us.

His name is Emmanuel (God with us) and He is there for us using His Rod to protect us from the schemes of life and His staff to guide us out of the dark places of life. Because He is with us, we are not overtaken by fear!

May we receive great comfort and encouragement that the Lord is with us and His covering over us. May the rod and staff of God be available to you all the days of your lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Confess to one another and Pray for one another

Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God–it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].

JAMES 5:16 AMP

Praise be to God for this beautiful day, may the joy of the Lord be with us throughout this day.

Apostle James is charging us to desist from living an isolated life in our “one corner” but to open up to our trusted fellow brethren. The scripture charges us to confess or share our weaknesses or erroneous acts with other believers so we may obtain their support.

The key portion of the scripture makes reference to prayer for each other. We need to support each other in the period of weakness and not receive the brother or sister ‘s confession for “broadcast purposes”.

Confess to one another and pray for each other so that we will be healed of whatever weakness and be restored. Bible says that the fervent and effectual prayer of a believer availeth much, meaning it is far reaching and produces great results. Let’s utilise the tremendous power of prayer!

May we lift up prayers to support one another so we get ourselves restored in the Lord to enable all of us serve Him in joy and with gladness of heart. May the Lord help us to stand by each other at all times. Amen.

Keep Doing Good, it Pleases God

Do not neglect to do good, to contribute [to the needy of the church as an expression of fellowship], for such sacrifices are always pleasing to God.

Hallelujah to the King of Kings for this beautiful day, rejoice and celebrate His goodness today.

The Lord loves the cheerful giver, He is pleased with the kind hearted, Abel’s choice sacrifice was gladly received by God. So do human beings get excited at the receipt of nice things.

Today the scriptures admonish us to DO GOOD. To be able to do good to people you must be kind hearted, willing to see others progress in their situation and in life. God said that once you have done for any of these ones, you have done it for me.

Do Good to the needy of the church as part of fellowship and also to others so our kindness and goodness may minister the Love of Jesus Christ to them. Bible says in Galatians 6:9 that we should not be tired or weary in doing good especially to the household of Faith.

It calls for sacrifice to be able to do good, the selfish part of us will give us calculations to do to discourage us from doing good. We should let the Love of God and the Word of God be our guide in life so we can continue to do good by supporting and caring for the needs of others.

May we receive the Grace to support the work of ministry. May the Lord bless the efforts we make at doing good to others so we will grow with that attitude and mentality of doing good all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Thanks be to God for this beautiful day, let us celebrate His goodness today, rejoice and be glad in it.

Thank God for giving us Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and also a perfect example. The Son of God came down to earth to serve us and died a lowly death so that we might have life eternal.

He washed the feet of the disciples in preparing them for the ministry work ahead of them and more so teaching them humility that is required to make them successful in the work ahead.

Jesus said in the scripture that now that He has washed their feet, they should go and do likewise, it is now our turn to also go out there and serve the Lord with humility. If the Son of God humbled Himself and served, you and I should learn from this great example and go do likewise.

May we receive the Grace to serve tirelessly with humility throughout our lives till His coming. May we be available instruments in His hand for greater service. Help us Lord. Amen.

Praise God for the blessings of a beautiful day and gift of life. His Divine covering is our portion.

Thanks be to God for the breath of life and the ability to proclaim His goodness to all nations and among the people.

May we use the gifting we have received to publish Jesus to the World, may we declare to the world that He alone is God and none can come to the Father except through Him.

May we be the publishers of God’s glory and His marvellous works to our generations.

May we receive living testimonies of His glory and marvellous deeds as we continuously declare Him among nations. Amen.

There is no alternative to loving God! If you have not started a relationship with the Most High God then you running late! Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour so connect to Him by accepting Him as Lord and personal Saviour. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth.

Love the Lord with all your heart and mind, soul and strength means that we should surrender our all to the Most High God. All that is within us must love the Lord.

Father help us to devote our entire lives in loving and serving you. May absolutely nothing prevent us from continuously loving you with our entirety. We surrender to you King of Glory,reign forever more in our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

God our Comforter in our anxieties

When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your comforts delight me.

Praise and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day. Thanks be to God for leading us through another working week.

We serve the Alpha and Omega, the Most High God, the Great King and I am that I am God! His Word tells us not to be anxious but all things we should come before His throne of Grace with prayer.

This morning, the scripture for the day says that in our anxiety or anxious moments, the Lord comforts us and makes us delighted.

I believe the Word of God which says FEAR NOT 365 times in the Bible becomes a daily dosage that soothes our anxious moments.

The issues of this world (currently Covid 19) results in the multiplication of anxiety within us but thanks be to God that through Him we are delightfully comforted.

May we remain in the delightful comfort of the Most High God now and forever, may every anxiety be under control in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Endure Temptations to the end to receive the Crown of Life

Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

This morning Apostle James is telling us that God rewards abundantly the one stands firm and does not yield to trials and tribulations.

As children of the Most High God, we will experience some trials and temptations on this journey, our reaction or response to this is very important. Today’s scripture encourages every child of God to stand firm in times of trials so we don’t miss out the blessings of the Lord.

The blessings include being spiritually prosperous, favour from God and an ultimate victor’s crown of life! We must stay steadfast, we must persevere to the end to receive this crown, no room to fall by the roadside.

May the Lord help us to stay strong and steadfast no matter the challenge that comes our way. May we be approved by the Lord as worthy and faithful servants so we don’t miss out the victor’s crown of life in Jesus Mighty name.
