Our lives should be devoted to following Jesus Christ through a personal relationship with Him. As we remain connected to Him daily, His divine power enables us to walk in life and godliness.

God is not Slow, He is awaiting our Repentance

The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
2 PETER 3:9 AMP

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

In today’s scripture Apostle Peter had to remind the Church that the coming of the Lord was not a joke so people cannot choose to be ready at their own time.

As the same chapter said, a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years like a day before the Lord. His coming shall be like a thief in the night. Most of the endtime signs that the Bible spoke about are happening around us.

It is therefore very important that you and I are ready now for the coming of the Lord. We should not be complacent that the promise of the Lord’s coming is not going to happen any time soon. He is not slack concerning His promises.

We should therefore treat these times as the moment He has given us to prepare our hearts and minds to bfe with Him in heaven. He is expecting all of us to come to repentance by having an active working relationship with Jesus Christ.

May the Word of the Lord indwell us so we meditate on His coming and not take His patience for granted. May the Lord help us to be ready for His coming. Amen.
