Count it all Joy when you face trials

Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace].

Count it all joy is to encourage us to see the positive things when we face trials or encounter temptations. Instead of being in a state of despair and giving up on life, we should know that this is strengthening our faith for the Christian journey ahead. Make a conscious decision to survive any trials and tribulations that come our way.

The joy will give us hope and fortitude to stand so we receive the grace of God that will enable us to stand in the midst of the difficult situation.

That is the testing of our faith for endurance, it results in our growth spiritually and mentally. We come out stronger and with testimonies to share and even encourage those who may be going through challenges.

May the Lord help us to overcome every trial we encounter to come out as better people strengthened in faith to be a blessing to our generation. Count it all joy!

All Things are Possible with God

We glorify your name Lord for a brand new day and the gift of life. Thank you Jesus for life and for bringing us to the end of the the first month of the year. Hallelujah!

We serve the Only true God, the Most High God, the Creator of the Universe. It is by His Word that All things were created.
How then can He be associated with limitations?

It was very important for Jesus to teach His disciples to build up their faith for the journey ahead after His death and resurrection. So it is key for us believers now to know and internalize it in our systems that we serve a God of IMPOSSIBILITIES! Where the human mind and abilities end, God takes over and brings a change in the situation.

The scripture states that if we translate from reliance or dependence on man to God, that is where the impossible things end. When God steps in, the situation becomes different.

May we experience the God who makes all things possible in every sphere of life. Once it is His will for us, it shall surely come to pass even though it may tarry. May the God of all Possibilities come through every situation of ours in Jesus Mighty name.

You are Lord over All Things

Today’s scripture is the direct Word of King David at his last convocation before he died. He acknowledged that God has been His strength and everything and all that he achieved was from God.

Lord, the heavens are your throne and the earth your foot stool, you are glorious and this morning we cannot but acknowledge your greatness.

We acknowledge your supremacy as the God of all victory, power and Glory. Your majesty is awesome and we give you all the reverence.

Great is the Lord our God who is Lord over All Things, yours is the power, dominion, splendour, majesty, glory and Kingdom forever and you are exalted as the head above ALL.Amen.

Trust in the Lord and rely on Him with all your heart

Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].

Praise and Glory be to God for this beautiful third day of the year, we receive today as a gift and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Do we involve God in our important decision making? Our God knows everything, the end from the beginning so we should be guided by His Word in every step of the way.

We need to acknowledge God in order to receive His guidance. The arm of flesh will certainly fail us so we need to go to God in prayer for His guidance and direction.

May our Trust in the Lord stay firm. May we make God the most important part of everything we do so we receive His guidance to accomplish His purposes for our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Pray at all times in the Spirit with all types of Prayer

With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all God’s people.

The Bible requires us to pray without ceasing! Today’s scripture charges us to pray all kinds of Prayer at all times in the Spirit. Praying at all times calls for us being intentional about making quick brief prayers throughout your day.

We could make quick prayers without having to isolate yourself from people and work. Once we make prayer our way of life, we can whisper to the Lord in the course of daily activities.

This same chapter tells us to arm ourselves ready for spiritual battle, clothing ourselves from our head (helmet of salvation) to our feet(shoes of peace). That means that we should always be ready to battle enemy in whatever ways he comes.

Our prayers must include intercession, thanksgiving and petitions for all of God’s children.

May we always be found standing in the gap praying all kinds of Prayer for God’s people. May the God of Jacob answer us from Zion at all times in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

The Glory, Majesty and Splendour of God shall manifest for all to see

A voice of one is calling out, “Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness [remove the obstacles]; Make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God. “Every valley shall be raised, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, And the rugged places a broad valley. “And the glory and majesty and splendor of the Lord will be revealed, And all humanity shall see it together; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.”
Isaiah 40:3‭-‬5 AMP

Praise and glory be to His name alone for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Hallelujah!

The people of Israel had gone through some difficult moments and it was time for the Lord to come through for them. The Prophet Isaiah therefore brought this prophetic word to them.

May this prophetic word be our portion. May you live to fulfil it in the the name of Jesus Christ. May the Lord Jesus Christ be preached to all we come into contact with proclaiming His second coming.

May every obstacle in our way be cleared, every valley be raised, every mountain be levelled, every crooked and rugged terrain be made a broad valley. May God’s Glory, Majesty and Splendour be seen by all as we lift up Jesus Christ to the world. Amen.

Do good to all,especially those in the household of Faith

So then, while we [as individual believers] have the opportunity, let us do good to all people [not only being helpful, but also doing that which promotes their spiritual well-being], and especially [be a blessing] to those of the household of faith (born-again believers).

Glory and honour be unto God, the Apostle Paul in today’s scriptures request us to be doing good. The verse 9 of this chapter admonished that we should not be tired in doing good.

Do Good when you have the opportunity is the Word for today. While it is within your power do good to ALL especially to the household of Faith (the believers). Doing good is showing love and sharing what you have with others.

Doing good includes seeking the spiritual growth and well being of others. Encourage one another in the things of God and be a blessing to others in your own way, you do not need to have everything before you can be a blessing.

Father give us the grace to do good. The grace to give to others, the grace to share with others. Grant us the ability to support our brethren grow spiritually and be rooted in you. Above all we ask for the heart of love to be able to do good to ALL in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Goodness and Mercy shall follow me all the days of my life

Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, And I shall dwell forever [throughout all my days] in the house and in the presence of the Lord .

We bless God for the life of King David and the examples we can pick from his life.

Psalm 23 is the most popular psalm and it recounts God’s goodness and lovingkindness to mankind if we make Him the shepherd of our soul.

Today’s scripture is the last verse and therefore the conclusion that can be drawn from a life that is fully surrendered to the Lord. God’s provision and protection is adequately available to all who keep Him as a shepherd. May His house be our forever dwelling place.

May the goodness, mercy and unfailing love of the Lord follow us all the days of our lives. May the presence of the Lord be our eternal dwelling place in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

A Friend Loves at all times

A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.

The book of Proverbs requires friends to be loyal and committed at all times. We are to show our loyalty to friends as we expect from them.

Friends love at all times, friends and brethren are loyal and committed to the cause of friends and family.
A brother is born to support in times of adversity or challenges. May we be present to help in times of need.

May we remain faithful and loving through and through. May we always be seen as reliable friends and brethren. May the Lord grant us the grace to stay loving and loyal at all times in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

God has established His throne in Heaven and His Kingdom Rules over all

The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, And His sovereignty rules over all [the universe].
Psalms 103:19 AMP

Praise and honour be to God for the gift of life and a brand new day, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

God is Sovereign and created the entire universe and all that is within by speaking them into being.

The Most High God has established His throne in Heaven and this is the desired destination for every child of God. Yes, to join the Heavenly Father and enjoy the magnificence of Heaven. We need to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour to qualify for this.

His Kingdom stretches from everlasting to everlasting and His rule extends to the earth. His sovereignty reigns over the entire universe, His own handiwork! Glory!

May the Lord Reign and Rule in our lives. May His Kingdom and reign have no end. May we forever reign with the Most High God in His splendour and majesty. Hallelujah! Amen.

Always seek to do Good to ALL people

See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek that which is good for one another and for all people.

Apostle Paul charged the Church at Thessalonica to treat one another kindly and in love. In his ministry he once told the people of God that they should imitate him as he imitated Christ.

This is certainly one of the patterns of Christ that we need to emulate. Even on the cross, Jesus was forgiving those who were mocking Him. He did not allow Peter to physically fight for Him when He was arrested but rather showed love by fixing the ear that was cut off back.

The standard is therefore set for us to follow since we have taken after His name! The Holy Spirit that dwells in us is our Helper, we cannot do this on our own. As human beings we tend to take stock of wrongs people have done to us. This builds up as toxic waste in our system and should not be encouraged.

The charge today is that do not pay back the evil others have done to you but pay back with love. Let your words be a blessing to those around them.

Help us Lord Jesus to love and do good to all people irrespective of what we may have gone through. May we never harbour any evil with the intention of paying back.Holy Spirit lead us and strengthen us to do your will. Amen
