Forgive one another as the Lord forgave us and continues to forgive us

bearing graciously with one another, and willingly forgiving each other if one has a cause for complaint against another; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so should you forgive.

COLOSSIANS 3:13 AMP

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

In today’s scripture, Apostle Paul makes a very profound statement on forgiveness, this was also stated by our Lord Jesus Christ when He taught us how to pray.

Forgive us our debts as we also forgive those who trespass against us! This is what Jesus taught us, we therefore need to forgive others as we have enjoyed the Father’s forgiveness and continue to enjoy it.

This was further emphasised by Apostle Paul so that we will not be tempted to forget to forgive others. The scripture says forbearing graciously, we need God’s help to be able to do this.

May the Lord help us to bear graciously with one another and also forgive as the Lord himself taught us. May the Grace to forgive fall on us in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Continually Excel in the Work of God

Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord [always doing your best and doing more than is needed], being continually aware that your labor [even to the point of exhaustion] in the Lord is not futile nor wasted [it is never without purpose].
1 CORINTHIANS 15:58 AMP

Hallelujah to the King of Kings for this beautiful day. We shall rejoice and be glad in it.

There should be no holding back when it comes to working for the Lord. Today’s scripture charges us to go ahead and give our best service to the Lord. We should keep excelling in our work of ministry for it is unto the Lord!

Remain steadfast and immovable as the service to the Lord is highly rewarding and we shall never regret giving our best to God. God will cause us to smile and enjoy His goodness as we attend to His business with all our hearts. Keep the fire burning for Jesus.

May we abound in the good works of the Lord, may we excel in all we do for the Lord, may we remain steadfast and immovable. May the Lord reward all our labour for Him in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Encourage others to Love and Do Good and continue to fellowship with the brethren

and let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds, not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching.
Hebrews 10:24‭-‬25 AMP

Praise and honour be unto God for this beautiful day. May the joy of the Lord be with us throughout this beautiful day.

We are created in the image of God to do good works. Jesus Christ said we shall do greater works! We therefore honour God for any opportunity to fulfil scripture.

Today’s Word says we should encourage one another to Love and Do Good! This is a summary of the life of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Let us therefore practice this firstly ourselves and therefore encourage others to do likewise.

We cannot preach what we are not! Apostle Paul said “imitate me as I imitate Christ”, we should therefore let our lives encourage those around us to live Christlike lives.

And as the verse 25 says we should not neglect the assembly of the brethren, for as we meet we encourage each other to grow in the things of God. Let us always make the effort to fellowship with fellow believers.

May the Lord help us to live according to the Word of God by doing good to others and being an example for many to emulate same. May we not forsake the fellowship of the brethren in Jesus Mighty name.Amen.

Seek the Lord and His Strength and His Face continually

Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face continually [longing to be in His presence].
1 CHRONICLES 16:11 AMP

Glory, Honour and Praise be to God for this beautiful day, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

God is Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent, we therefore need God in our lives. He is the creator of the universe who holds the whole world together.

Today’s scripture says we should seek the Lord and His Strength, hallelujah! We certainly need the Lord in our lives! As the Lord comes into our lives His Strength is what will sustain us and carry us yonder. He is our sustainer and will continually guide us through life.

May we seek the Lord continually in all our ways and endeavours, May we be enveloped in His presence soaking and enjoying Him all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
