Be devoted to one another in brotherly Love

Be devoted to one another with [authentic] brotherly affection [as members of one family], give preference to one another in honor;
Romans 12:10 AMP

Glory, Hallelujah and Praise be to God for this beautiful Sunday and the opportunity to fellowship with brethren in His sanctuary.

Our love must have its root from the love of God that caused Jesus Christ to die to save the world. Our love must be genuine love and not based on pretence.

Why are we showing love to this person? Is it for us to win favour or for public sympathy? God has called us to real and sincere love that goes beyond pretence and politeness. It requires us to help others become better people.

Our love must honour others because they have been created in the image of God.

May the Lord help us to love and honour one another based on His love for us. May our love seek genuinely to build up others and make them better people to the glory of God. Help us love genuinely Lord. Amen

Be Persistent and Devoted to Prayer with an attitude of Thanksgiving

Be persistent and devoted to prayer, being alert and focused in your prayer life with an attitude of thanksgiving.
COLOSSIANS 4:2 AMP

Glory be to God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Jesus Christ taught us to pray during His time here on earth, Apostle Paul also admonished that we pray without ceasing. This morning the scripture is also challenging us to be persistent and devoted to Prayer.

We need to understand that prayer is not a burden but our communication with the Heavenly Father so it must be regular. And as we speak we must also make time to listen to God.

Thanksgiving and adoration must be part of our prayer, we must always acknowledge His supremacy and greatness. Our thanksgiving prayers should embrace appreciation for the things that He has done and the anticipated things He will do.

May God grant us the grace in multiples to live for Him and stay devoted and persistent in our prayer lives, may our thanksgiving always be made to God in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
