Caring for the Fatherless & Widows and staying Pure for the Lord

Pure and unblemished religion [as it is expressed in outward acts] in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit and look after the fatherless and the widows in their distress, and to keep oneself uncontaminated by the [secular] world.
James 1:27 AMP

Hallelujah be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture highlights the importance of being a christian in practice and not by word only. It calls for us to put into action some of Jesus’ teachings in relation to supporting the poor.

Caring for the Fatherless and Widows is an act that God endorses and is happy with as in most cases the Fatherless and Widows are vulnerable in society. Let’s do this to put God’s word into practice.

May we not expect any human reward as we care for these widows and fatherless but see it as our God given responsibility.

Also we need to stay pure for the Lord, not contaminating ourselves with things that do not glorify the Lord. Rather our lives must holy and blameless to attract others to Christ.

May the Lord help us to put God’s word into practice and keep ourselves unblemished by the systems of the world. May our giving bring blessings and the love of God to others in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

God is the Father to the fatherless

A father of the fatherless and a judge and protector of the widows, Is God in His holy habitation.
PSALMS 68:5 AMP

Thanks be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Praise be to His Holy name that He is always available for His children and creation. He is there to offer salvation to His creation and life provisions to His children.

God is our Father, Father of Fathers and Father to all including those who physically are without fathers. His acts right from creation tell of a loving Father, one who is caring, accommodating and loving.

The scripture also refers to God as the judge and protector of widows, these are all demonstrations of His infinite love and caring nature.

May the Lord be a Father to you! May we experience the love of God in an entirely different dimension, be a true child of God so you enjoy His infinite love and care. Remain under the canopy of the Most High God!Amen.
