Forgive one another as the Lord forgave us and continues to forgive us

bearing graciously with one another, and willingly forgiving each other if one has a cause for complaint against another; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so should you forgive.

COLOSSIANS 3:13 AMP

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

In today’s scripture, Apostle Paul makes a very profound statement on forgiveness, this was also stated by our Lord Jesus Christ when He taught us how to pray.

Forgive us our debts as we also forgive those who trespass against us! This is what Jesus taught us, we therefore need to forgive others as we have enjoyed the Father’s forgiveness and continue to enjoy it.

This was further emphasised by Apostle Paul so that we will not be tempted to forget to forgive others. The scripture says forbearing graciously, we need God’s help to be able to do this.

May the Lord help us to bear graciously with one another and also forgive as the Lord himself taught us. May the Grace to forgive fall on us in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Be Kind, Tender hearted and Forgiving

Be kind and helpful to one another, tender-hearted [compassionate, understanding], forgiving one another [readily and freely], just as God in Christ also forgave you.
EPHESIANS 4:32 AMP

Praise and Glory be to God for a brand new day, rejoice and be glad in it.

We praise God for gifting His Son Jesus Christ to the world that He came to die to save ALL mankind. This is the greatest show of Love, to die on someone else’s behalf.

The scripture for today is charging us to be kind to one another, be tender-hearted or compassionate and also forgive one another just as Christ forgave us of our sins and died on our behalf.

Our kindness and compassion for others should take its source from the Lord so we do not struggle to love, show kindness and also forgive one another.

May God Almighty help us to be kind, loving, compassionate, tender-hearted and forgiving in Jesus Mighty name. Help us Lord to be able to forgive others and let go in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

God Forgives and delights in Mercy and Lovingkindness

Who is a God like You, who forgives wickedness And passes over the rebellious acts of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He [constantly] delights in mercy and lovingkindness.
MICAH 7:18 AMP

Praise and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to celebrate the goodness of the Lord.

The Prophet Micah acknowledges God’s attributes in this morning’s scripture. He reminds all of us that our God is a forgiving Father. I don’t know what we would have done but for God’s forgiveness and mercy.

Thank you Father that you do not hold our rebellious acts and wickedness against us but find space to forgive us. Thank you Father for your mercies that are new every morning.

Thank you Lord that we are not consumed because of your mercy and Lovingkindness, may this forever be our portion as we remain connected to the Lord Jesus Christ. You alone are God and none compares to you. Amen.

Forgive others as your heavenly Father forgives you

For if you forgive others their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins], your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
MATTHEW 6:14 AMP

Praise and adoration Glory be unto God for this brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

The Lord Jesus Christ taught us to pray during His time here on earth. He specifically taught us to pray saying Forgive us our trespasses as we also forgive those who trespass against us.

It is therefore very important that we make every effort to forgive those who do hurtful things against us. That is the way we can also receive forgiveness from the Lord for the numerous times we sin against Him.

May we have that heart to forgive and let go when others offend us as we also look forward to receiving forgiveness from the Most High God. Help us Lord in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

God forgives our iniquities

You have forgiven the wickedness of Your people; You have covered all their sin. Selah.
Psalms 85:2 AMP

Glory and Hallelujah to the King of Kings for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Thanks be to the Lord that we have a God who forgives us of our iniquities, cleanses us of our sins and restores us. It is only God who can do this. After we have contaminated ourselves with other foreign gods He opens up His hands to receive the repentant soul.

Today’s psalm is attributed to the Sons of Korah, their father’s sin and rebellion was not passed on to them and they wrote some of the Psalms.

Come to the Lord today with a broken and contrite heart and the Lord will receive you, forgive and wash all your sins away with the blood of Jesus Christ.

May the Lord receive us and forgive us of our sins and iniquities. May He wash us with the precious blood of Jesus Christ so that we can live a new life for the Lord. May restoration be our portion in Jesus Mighty name.Amen
