Fruit Bearing Children of God

Matthew 21:43 NKJV
[43] “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it.

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

In today’s scripture Jesus speaks about the Parable of the Vine dresser, where a man has built up a vineyard hedged it and dug a winepress and built a tower there. This was leased out, the owner sent his servants to go and get some fruits because it was time to enjoy the fruits thereof. The servants were beaten and one killed.

The owner sent another set of servants and even his son but they killed all of them. The parable therefore is liken to Jesus Christ being given to the world but instead of receiving His teachings and living a fruitful life, He was killed a shameful death.

This act of being killed and resurrecting offered Jesus Christ to the entire world and any willing to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour enjoys the fruit of righteousness in Him. What was the preserve of the Israelites has been availed to all.

Dear Lord Jesus help us to focus on you and not miss our way of Salvation. May we be found fruitful at all times especially when it is time to account for our stewardship in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Be a Fruitful branch!

Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that continues to bear fruit, He [repeatedly] prunes, so that it will bear more fruit [even richer and finer fruit].
John 15:2 AMP

Praise and Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

God in Genesis 1:28 requested Fruitfulness from us, this was part of His very 1st charge to mankind after creation.

God the Son came to live amongst us and in today’s scripture admonishes all to be fruitful! Jesus Christ is the Vine and we are His branches, every branch that bears fruit is pruned so it can continue bearing much more fruit.

The branches that do not bear fruit are however cut off completely and therefore lose their source of life.

Are you bearing fruits as a child of God? Are you a fruitful branch or fruitless branch? What are you doing to populate God’s Kingdom as part of fruit bearing?

May we live as fruitful branches doing the Master’s business and yielding fruits for the Kingdom of God. May every fruitless activities be taken away so we yield greater fruits to His glory in Jesus Mighty name. Amen
