Associate with the Wise and become Wise

He who walks [as a companion] with wise men will be wise, But the companions of [conceited, dull-witted] fools [are fools themselves and] will experience harm.

Thanks be to God for this beautiful day and the gift of life, we shall enjoy the goodness of the Lord.

Glory be God for giving us the ability to be able to discern and make choices. Today we are presented with the opportunity of association that will forever impact our lives. The 1st verse of this chapter says that a wise son heeds and accepts the Father’s instructions and discipline and from the fruit of the mouth a wise man enjoys good things.

Today, tie this scripture around your neck and waist! Be in the company of the wise, walk with the wise, sit with the wise, chat with the wise, be intentional about connecting to the WISE!

Embrace any gathering that will afford you a connection with people you can learn from. The foolish association will lead to only destruction.

Let’s Receive the Wisdom of God to make the right choices all the days of our lives in Jesus name.

May we be spiritually alert to know who to connect to so we shall be counted among the wise. May folly not come near our dwelling in Jesus Mighty name. Walk with the wise and be wise. Amen.

Compete for the Imperishable Crown

And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Apostle Paul makes an analogy of running a race to win the coveted prize/gold medal and our journey as Christians. In a typical race, the athletes prepare and make all efforts to emerge winners in their races.

Today the question is as a child of God are you running your Christian race with the ultimate crown or medal in mind? The imperishable crown of eternal life in Christ Jesus? Does this push you to live completely for Christ as if He is coming in the next moment? If Christ should come today, will you receive this imperishable prize?

May we be self disciplined in this Christian race to the very end running with spiritual vigour and stamina.

Most High God help us to live our lives completely for you. May the Imperishable Crown of eternal life in Christ Jesus be our utmost priority in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted

“Blessed [forgiven, refreshed by God’s grace] are those who mourn [over their sins and repent], for they will be comforted [when the burden of sin is lifted].
MATTHEW 5:4 AMP

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Thanks be God for Jesus Christ our burden lifter and the one who cleanses our sins once we repent and confess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.

Glory be to His Holy name that once the confession is made , there is a translation from the enemy’s kingdom to the marvellous Kingdom of God.

This is the comfort that we receive from the Most High God that once we confess our sins and declare our position for Him, we are justified by the blood of Jesus Christ unto Salvation. For anything that causes us to mourn, may the joy of the Lord come through for us.

May we all take bold steps of faith to drop all weights that easily entangle us and set us back and commit to God for life eternal in Jesus Christ.

Help us Lord to be comforted on every side as we journey with you throughout the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. May our joy come in the morning. Amen.

Comforted by God to provide Comfort to Others

Blessed [gratefully praised and adored] be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts and encourages us in every trouble so that we will be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

We are thankful to God for His protection and blessings on a daily basis. We should not take for granted the joy and peace that we enjoy from the Lord. His Word today tells us that we are blessed with God’s mercies and comforted so that we can also provide comfort to others.

We have received comfort and encouragement from the Most High God to be His representatives here on earth to distribute God’s comfort and encouragement to others.

The God of all comforts and encouragement has equipped you to minister to anyone who needs any form of comfort and encouragement today and all the time.

May we avail ourselves for the Master’s use. May we be sources of encouragement to others and comfort one another in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Our Help comes from God

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord , which made heaven and earth.

Happy New Month! Shalom and thanks be to God for His Word today. This is the day that He has made and we should rejoice and be glad in it. Thank you Lord for ushering us into the second month of the year.

This morning of the new month let’s join the psalmist in lifting up our eyes unto the source of our strength, the Most High God.

Hallelujah be unto God for being the source of our Help, if God is your source of help then you have no problem. You just place your hand into His hands and then you relax to receive. I will lift up my eyes to the Lord…..sing unto the Lord

The help we need comes from no other than the Most High God. So we should join the psalmist this morning and always to lift up our eyes unto the Hills of the Lord! That is the source of our strength and hope.

May our eyes continually be lifted up unto the Lord our only source of life and strength. May we receive help from Jehovah God as we entrust our lives to Him completely. Shalom and enjoy His presence today. Amen.

Go to God and Ask for Wisdom

If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him.
JAMES 1:5 AMP

Praise be to God for this beautiful day which is the last day of the first month of the year. The joy of the Lord be with you throughout your day and cause your day to be prosperous.

The bible says that Wisdom is the principal thing! You cannot survive in this life without wisdom. Thanks be to God who is ever ready to provide the wisdom we need for our lives.

Today’s scripture says that we should ask God for the wisdom we need so that we can take proper decisions that will guide our lives. It should not be for only major decisions in life but all the little things that we need guidance, let’s ask God for Wisdom.

He is a benevolent God who will give the wisdom generously without rebuke or blame. May we go freely to God for Wisdom to make our daily living smooth!

May Wisdom dwell with us throughout this life, May it be tied around our necks and placed in our hearts and minds so all our steps and decisions are guided by it in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Blessed are those Hunger and Thirst for God’s Righteousness

“Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied.
MATTHEW 5:6 AMP

Glory and honour and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day, may the peace and joy of the Lord guide us this day through and through.

Thank God for His Word and the Sermon on the Mount which is very significant. The scripture says that we should hunger and thirst for God’s Righteousness, that is do everything possible to obtain righteousness. If the hunger is not enough to bring righteousness, the thirst will bring it!

Righteousness is simply living right with God so the desire to drink water on a daily basis must compare to our desire and longing to live right with God daily.

The scripture goes on to say that the one who hungers and thirsts for righteousness shall be satisfied and be a blessed person! We should therefore find this piece of scripture a joyful thing to do to court the blessings of the Most High God.

May we receive the joyful nourishment of God’s goodness as we seek His righteousness through our thirst and hunger for Him in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Christ Jesus laid down His life for us as an example; Love others

By this we know [and have come to understand the depth and essence of His precious] love: that He [willingly] laid down His life for us [because He loved us]. And we ought to lay down our lives for the believers.

The Love of the Father gave His only begotten son to die to set us free from sin and death. The Love of Christ Jesus for us also made Him obedient to His Father’s call to die to save man.

These acts of Love are deep and precious and sets a great example for us as believers. The Love of the Father and the Son have been given to us so we in turn can love our fellow believers.

Thank you Father for your Great love and the love of your Son Jesus Christ. May this Love fill our hearts and overflow so others may experience the Love of God through us. Make us instruments of you Love in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Your actions and speech tell what is in your heart

The [intrinsically] good man produces what is good and honorable and moral out of the good treasure [stored] in his heart; and the [intrinsically] evil man produces what is wicked and depraved out of the evil [in his heart]; for his mouth speaks from the overflow of his heart.

This is a Word by our Lord Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry. The previous verses talk about the type of tree determines the type of fruit that is produced. A good tree bears good fruit.

Today’s scripture confirms this by saying that a good person produces good things because it is coming from a good heart. The good heart produces what is honourable, moral and good. A good heart is one that has Jesus Christ as the ruler and Master. Surrender your life to Him so He rules over your heart.

Likewise the evil or bad things do come from what we conceive in our heart, what is being produced determines the state of our hearts. What are the things that are flowing from your heart?

May our hearts and minds be fully possessed by the Holy Spirit and the Most High God. May our hearts produce only good, moral and honourable things to the glory of God. Amen

Set your heart on Things above where Christ dwells

“Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.”

Hallelujah to the King of glory for ushering us into another beautiful day. We give glory to His holy name! May the joy of the Lord be with us throughout this day and evermore.

Galatians 2:20 says we were crucified with Christ Jesus, today’s scripture says if we have been raised with Christ Jesus in His resurrection, then we have the power that dwells in Christ to do exploits.

Our focus and mind should be fixed on Jesus Christ and on things above, spiritual things should be our desire. Heaven should be our desire and target.

Salvation of souls should be our preoccupation and we should desire to populate the Kingdom of God while depopulating the kingdom of the enemy. Our main focus should be that we make it to heaven at the 2nd coming of Christ.

May we continue to lift up the name of the Lord so that many will be drawn unto the Lord. May our actions, thoughts , deeds and words be a pointer to Jesus Christ. Amen.

Love the Lord with all your heart, mind and soul

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind and with all your soul and with all your strength [your entire being].

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and week. Thank you Lord for the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

There is no alternative to loving God! If you have not started a relationship with the Most High God then you are running late! Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour so connect to Him by accepting Him as Lord and personal Saviour. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth.

Love the Lord with all your heart and mind, soul and strength means that we should surrender our all to the Most High God. All that is within us must love the Lord.

Father help us to devote our entire lives in loving and serving you. May nothing prevent us from loving you with our entirety. We surrender to you King of Glory,reign forever more in our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Receive God’s Favour and Joy for a lifetime

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may endure for a night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning.

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful Sunday and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Thanks be to God for this Psalm of David recalling his deliverance from death. May this be our testimony too.

God’s anger lasts for the moment we walk astray doing things contrary to the Word of God. Once we surrender our lives to Him we begin to court His favour which is for a lifetime. May this beautiful story be our portion.

During the period roaming about on our own without God, we rely on our strength and the arm of flesh fails us. We therefore wail and weep till we turn over to Jesus the giver of life and Joy. The joy of the Lord comes to us as we walk with the Lord.

May the Lord Jesus Christ be our portion, May every moment of anger and weeping be wiped away by the Lord. May we encounter and walk in His lifetime of favour. May the joy of the Lord be our portion in Jesus Mighty name. Amen
