Store God’s Word in your heart to guard against sin

Your word I have treasured and stored in my heart, That I may not sin against You.
PSALMS 119:11 AMP

Glory, honour and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Hallelujah.

Thank God for the creative ability of the Word of God. Today we see another important phase of the Word, the Word as a defence against sin.

King David said , he hid the Word of God in his heart so he would not sin against the Lord. Psalm 119 spoke a lot about the various abilities of the Word. Today we are also challenged to imitate and follow the Psalmist by accepting the Word of God as a treasure and hiding it in our hearts as a defence or as insurance against sin.

We need to study it and understand so we do what the Word of God requires of us.

May the Lord help us to hide the Word of God in our hearts so we will not sin against the Most High God. May the Word remain as a treasure stored in our hearts forever more in Jesus Mighty name,Amen.

God’s Word, The Life Guide

All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately–behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; so that the man of God may be complete and proficient, outfitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Praise, Glory, adoration and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to celebrate His goodness.

Thanks be to God for His Word which forms the basis of our our living. May we draw from this well to guide our walk here on earth.

May our lives be positively impacted as we abide and walk in the Word both publicly and privately. May our lives radiate the glory of God because of the Word dwelling in us.

May the Word of God make us complete beings fully equipped for the service of God and mankind.

Determine to be an effective tool in the hands of the Almighty God ready for any life assignment. God bless you loads and have a fruitful day.

May the Word of God be our guide in all decision making situations. May the Word mould us, transform us, comfort us, teach us, scold us, encourage us, correct us and direct us in life in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Let us be Doers of the Word of God

But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth]. For if anyone only listens to the word without obeying it, he is like a man who looks very carefully at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he immediately forgets what he looked like.
James 1:22‭-‬24 AMP

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to worship and praise His holy name.

Today’s scripture emphasises the importance of not only listening to the Word of God but to obey and DO what the Word says. That is to internalize the Word of God.

The Word of God therefore requires that we act and live by what is written therein. Merely listening to the Word of God and not abiding by it is more or less wasting our time.

The Word of God is active and alive so once we live according to what is written therein we place our trust in the Lord and live a life of Faith. To obey is better than to sacrifice.

May the Lord help us to continually live and abide by the Word of God. May we not be only hearers of the Word but active practitioners of the Living Word of God in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

God’s Word is Alive, Active and sharper than a Double Edged Sword

“For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the [7]breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

Praise be to God for this beautiful and blessed day, may the joy of the Lord be with you throughout the day.

The Word of God created the World and all that is in it. God spoke creation into being. The bible says that all scripture is God breathed so every word in the bible has the active power to create. In fact the Bible is the only book to be described as active and alive!

We are therefore reminded that the Word of God is alive and active and ABLE to deal with with every situation (that is why it is able to run through the soul, bones and marrows). The Word of God has no limitations.

The possibilities of the Word of God are beyond our imagination, it is a double edged sword capable of tearing down what needs to be destroyed and building up what needs to be created. It is a full proof solution to any situation.

May we be students and practitioners of the Word of God. May we enjoy the Power of this creative, active and living Word of God now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name.
