Jesus Christ the Lamb that was slained to save us

All of us like sheep have gone astray, We have turned, each one, to his own way; But the Lord has caused the wickedness of us all [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing] To fall on Him [instead of us].

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day called Holy Saturday. We are thankful for the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Our God is a good God! When we were deep in sin and completely lost, He purposed to release His only begotten son as a ransom to save us.

From the scripture Israel had gone astray doing what pleased them and wallowing in sin. God stepped in to bring salvation to them. That is the salvation that has been extended to us this day.

Jesus Christ died to rescue us from sin and death, have you accepted Him as your Lord and Personal Saviour? If not you need to do so today so that we don’t make His death in vain.

May we be connected to Jesus Christ. May our lives be secured in Him till His coming. May all who have gone astray come back to Jesus Christ for eternal life. May the Lord be our good shepherd now and forever more. Amen.

God’s ways are different from Man’s ways

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

This day, the Prophet Isaiah is urging us to recognize that our God is Mighty and Sovereign. He knows the end from the beginning so we should not fret but allow God to lead us.

God’s thoughts and plans are good and to bring us to an expected end. His thoughts are far higher than ours, while we are thinking of basic needs God’s thoughts are heavenly focused.

We may have some plans or ways we want to follow but as the scripture tells us, God’s ways are higher so we need to surrender our plans to Him so His divine plans lead and guide us.

Dear Lord, we surrender our lives to completely to you. Lead us in accordance with your thoughts and plans that are heavenly focused. May your higher ways be our guide in Jesus Mighty name,Amen.

Seek the Lord, Call on Him while He is near

Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call on Him [for salvation] while He is near. Let the wicked leave (behind) his way And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord , And He will have compassion (mercy) on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

The bible enjoins us in today’s scriptures to seek the Lord and call upon His name. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation.

Seek the Lord! We seek for things that are of interest and importance to us. The importance of the Lord in our lives cannot be over emphasized. He is our Lord and Saviour, our all in all.

Today is our time to call on the name of the Lord for salvation. Jesus saves and delivers. He is ready to receive us into His marvellous light and forgive us of our sins. He is a merciful and compassionate God.

May the Lord hear and answer us as we call on the name of the Lord for Salvation and Deliverance. May Jehovah look favourably upon us and accept us into His marvellous light in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Come to the Lord all who are Thirsty

“Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy grain and eat. Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost [simply accept it as a gift from God]. Why do you spend money for that which is not bread, And your earnings for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight in abundance.

Hallelujah! What an amazing God we serve, He is always ready for us to return Home to where we belong. We may have gone astray looking for our own things and hitting our head against the wall but as the Prophet Isaiah says here, God is ready for us.

Come to the Waters all who are Thirsty, come and buy without money and satisfy your thirst. It is only God who gives such limitless opportunity to all and from His abundance is able to take care of all of us. Quench your thirst without paying, can you imagine the value?

The scripture says listen to me and eat what is good that will satisfy our souls. The question is posed for our consideration, why pay for something that does not satisfy? Will you rather not opt for what satisfies spiritually but does not cost money? Today make that choice of coming to the Lord to satisfy your thirst. Jesus Christ is ready to offer freely the living waters to us.

Lord help us this day to come to the source of life to quench our thirst with the Living Waters that nourishes our souls eternally. Help us Lord to listen to you in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Thank and Praise God for His Miraculous deeds

O Lord , You are my God; I will exalt You, I will praise and give thanks to Your name; For You have done miraculous things, Plans formed long, long ago, [fulfilled] with perfect faithfulness.

Our God is good, He is amazing and awesome and deserves all our Praise. Let us keep exalting His name. Honour Him!

Give thanks to this wondrous God, the things He does are beyond our imagination. He always opens our eyes to His wonderful acts, the scripture says that He has done miraculous things.

Receive your portion of the mighty miracles of God as you continue to thank and exalt His name. He alone is magnified and lifted up in our lives now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Thanks be to God for His Word today, Prophet Isaiah is urging us to arise from our sleep and slumber because the time to shine forth has come.

The Glory of the Lord has come upon us and therefore we need to shine forth. The radiance of the Lord must be seen by men so it attracts them to come seek the Lord. Just like scripture says we do not light a candle and put it under a bushel but place on a stand to shine forth.

You are the light of the world so you must endeavour to let your lights be so bright that it will illuminate your environment for the glory of God to be seen by all, that is what will attract others to come and taste of Jesus’ goodness.

May the glory of the Lord that has risen upon us shine forth and illuminate our world for all to see Jesus Christ through us.May this glory never depart from us but shine in our lives all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

God is doing a New Thing in your life

“Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.

Glory be to God for this beautiful day which is the first day of the year 2022. We bless God for the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Our Lord God is Mighty and worthy to be praised. His power and might knows no boundaries. This is the great God we serve, His name is I am that I am.

Today the Lord says He is going to do a new thing in our lives. A new thing that we have not seen, heard about or felt before. Prepare yourself to receive from the Lord, He says it will spring forth speedily. Position yourself for God’s visitation.

Forget the former things and past year and be ready for the miracles of God that are coming your way, a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, substitute them for your expectations and trust God for them. They will surely spring forth speedily. The passage gives us the assurance that there is nothing impossible for our Lord and Saviour.

May that new thing which seems impossible spring forth speedily in Jesus Mighty name. May you experience “your roads in the wilderness and rivers in the desert ” in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

God With Us- Immanuel!

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Listen carefully, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will call his name Immanuel (God with us).

We exalt the name of the Lord for the gift of a Son conceived by a virgin, a great and wonderful miracle!

Embrace this beautiful message, imbibe it, digest it into your system and internalize it. Let it stay in you!

The name is Immanuel which means God with us, God will stay with us through and through. His peace and joy will dwell with us. His favour and glory will overshadow us. His grace and mercies will be sufficient for us. Yes, Immanuel!

No Weapon

Victory is in the Lord! We therefore fear no evil because we are in the Lord’s army. We are the Apple of God’s eye.

We have inheritance in the heavens because we are co-heirs with Christ. No matter in what form or shape the enemy tries to attack, we are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ.

The child of God has been equipped to rise up and condemn every tongue that judges against the child of God.

Remain covered with the Blood of Jesus Christ and walk in full confidence that God’s got our back. Enjoy God’s peace, righteousness and security. With boldness confront any form of fiery dart that tries to mar this platform.

God our Deliverer!

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.

A few days ago we understood God is our ever present help in time of need. This morning once again the scripture is confirming to us God will deliver us from every storm we encounter.

God will be with His children when they pass through the waters, the rivers will not drown them because God will be by them as a strong anchor.

Similarly no fire will consume the child of God, the Omnipotent God will be providing the coolness required to get through the fire intact.

Keep trusting God all the time and He will come through for you.

When God is holding your right hand how do you allow the enemy to scare and torment you? God is our ever present help in time of need.
Let’s keep our confidence in the Lord, He is our help and will not let us hand us over to the devourer. We bind every spirit of fear and release the help of the Lord. Help us Lord.

You don’t cease to amaze us with your awesome creation and your moving miracles!!! Receive your glory Father. You are highly exalted above all thrones and principalities. 
We give you thanks our ancient of days! You are the King of Glory, mighty in all your ways. We appreciate you our Rock of ages! 
From the foundations of the world your miracles have not ceased and we are grateful to be children of the Most High God.
