Keep Focused on Heavenly Things

Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].
COLOSSIANS 3:2 AMP

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day. May the angels guide and guard us throughout the day in Jesus Mighty name.

Set your affection, mind and heart on Heavenly Things! Our minds and thinking should be heaven based! That is what is most important in our lives as children of God. Let us focus on the joy that is set before us when we encounter our heavenly father.

Our minds and hearts should be thinking about eternity and who to spend eternity with, the throne of the Most High God should therefore be the point of attraction.

Our thoughts should then determine our actions so that all that we do should be geared towards preparing us for Heaven. Any activity or actions that will draw us back in our heavenly pathway should be dropped quickly so we don’t miss our focus.

The heavenly things are those that are of value and eternal and this should be our motivation to hold on and jealously guard our salvation with fear and trembling.

May we set on minds on Heavenly Things. May we stay our minds on Jesus so we do make it to heaven. God richly bless us as we meditate, focus, eat, walk,live and assimilate heavenly things now and always in preparation to meet the Host of Heaven at His second coming. Amen.

The Lord Bless you and keep you

The Lord bless you, and keep you [protect you, sustain you, and guard you]; The Lord make His face shine upon you [with favor], And be gracious to you [surrounding you with lovingkindness]; The Lord lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval], And give you peace [a tranquil heart and life].’

Thanks be to God for the amazing love for His children which leads to these great blessings in today’s scriptures.

It is therefore important that as children of God we remain obedient to His Word and observe His commandments so that we do not miss out on the blessings of the Lord.

May every blessing contained in today’s scripture be yours in Jesus Mighty name.

May divine protection, favour and grace in multiples from on high be availed unto you, May your every step receive Divine approval and enjoy God’s peace that passes all understanding. Amen.

Keep His Commandments and Love the Lord

The person who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him [I will make Myself real to him].”

Praise, honour and adoration be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

The importance of receiving God’s commandments and obeying them is very key in the life of a child of God. How can one survive without obeying His commandments.

Our obedience to the commandments of God shows our love for the Father and His Word. The Love for God therefore attracts the love of God the Father and God the Son! May we strive to love the Lord by obeying His commandments and living by His Word.

May we continually seek and obey the Lord’s commandments. May we remain lovers of the Lord so that we enjoy the Love of God eternally. May the Lord reveal Himself to us and give us a real encounter of His presence in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
