Let your Light Shine before Others

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven.
MATTHEW 5:16 AMP

Praise and honour be unto God for this beautiful day, may the joy of the Lord carry us through the day.

Light brings illumination and understanding and scatters all forms of darkness including doubts and ignorance. That is the reason why Jesus said we don’t light a candle and put it under a bushel.

Have you lit your Light? Where have you placed it? Is your Light accessible to others? Today’s scripture says that Let your Light Shine before men, this means that you definitely need to have a glowing light on. You must be connected to the Light of this world Jesus Christ to be able to have your Light lit and continue to burn.

The benefit of your Light to others is a glory and testimony to the Most High God. Let the Light therefore shine so brightly that many will see the path of salvation and come to God.

Keep your Light glowing and brighter all the time in Jesus Mighty name, many are following it to Christ.

May your Light(the life you lead) shine brightly and reflect Jesus Christ, may it attract others to follow Jesus Christ. May the Light guide, direct and counsel many people in Jesus Mighty name.

Servanthood leads Greatness

But the greatest among you will be your servant.Matthew 23:11 AMPPraise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.This is a direct statement made by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and carries a lot of power and is full of wisdom. Many a time we are in a hurry to lead and lord it over others. The scripture teaches us that the way to greatness and leadership is service. It is Servanthood that will open unto us the greater/higher and leadership seats we aspire to. Simply put we should not look down at service and also we should be selfless in our service to all.May the Word of the Lord richly dwell in us so that we can serve in every capacity we find ourselves and know that it is our route to leadership and by extension greatness. Help us Lord to serve with humility as you prepare us for greater heights in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.#abmingle #FreshThoughts🍀 #ReadyourBiblePrayEveryDay #Devotion #Faith

He who has ears must Listen and hear the Word of the Lord!

He who has ears to hear, let him hear and heed My words.
(MATTHEW 11:15 AMP)

Hallelujah! Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day. Rejoice and be glad in it.

What a piece of thought provoking scripture we have today. This statement came about as a result of a question John the Baptist sent from prison through His disciples to Jesus. John the Baptist the forerunner of Jesus wanted to know and be sure whether Jesus Christ was actually the Messiah!

Interesting and practical response that Jesus Christ sent to John. Hallelujah, He referred John the Baptist’s disciples to what was happening in His ministry and asked them to observe, recount and go report to their master.

Glory! He said apart from all the great miracles taking place ,the Word is being preached to the people! We have the Word of God also being preached today through so many channels, have we listened and heard the gospel of Jesus Christ?

Is Jesus Christ your Lord and Personal Saviour? Can you say that you have heard His message and have heeded to His Word. The day’s scripture is challenging us not to end today without giving heed to the Word of God and surrendering our lives to Jesus Christ.

Thank you Lord Jesus for the salvation message, May it be so real in our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Be our Lord and Saviour to the end in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Hunger and Thirst for God’s Righteousness

“Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied.
MATTHEW 5:6 AMP

Glory and honour and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day, may the peace and joy of the Lord guide us this day through and through.

Thank God for His Word and the Sermon on the Mount which is very significant. The scripture says that we should hunger and thirst for God’s Righteousness, that is do everything possible to obtain righteousness. If the hunger is not enough to bring righteousness, the thirst will bring it!

Righteousness is simply living right with God so the desire to drink water on a daily basis must compare to our desire and longing to live right with God daily.

The scripture goes on to say that the one who hungers and thirsts for righteousness shall be satisfied and be a blessed person! We should therefore find this piece of scripture a joyful thing to do to court the blessings of the Most High God.

May we hunger and thirst for righteousness so we receive satisfaction from God. May we receive the joyful nourishment of God’s goodness as we seek His righteousness in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

All Things are Possible with God

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With people [as far as it depends on them] it is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
(MATTHEW 19:26 AMP)

We glorify your name Lord for a brand new day and the gift of life.

We serve the Only true God, the Most High God, the Creator of the Universe. It is by His Word that All things were created.
How then can He be associated with limitations?

It was very important for Jesus to teach His disciples to build up their faith for the journey ahead after His death and resurrection. So is it key for us believers now to know and internalize it in our systems that we serve a God of IMPOSSIBILITIES! Where the human mind and abilities end, God takes over and brings a change in the situation.

The scripture states that that if we translate from reliance or dependence on man to God, that is where the impossible things things end. When God steps in, the situation becomes different.

May we experience the God who makes all things possible in every sphere of life. Once it is His will for us, it shall surely come to pass even though it may tarry. May the God of all Possibilities come through every situation of yours in Jesus Mighty name.

Great Commission

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

(MATTHEW 28:19 AMP)
These are the words that Christ Jesus left with His disciples after His resurrection and prior to His ascension. That is what He expects of the church universal.
We are therefore the people to carry out this assignment that Christ Jesus gave to the church.
Let’s go and fulfil this Great Commission by preaching, discipling and baptizing the brethren won in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen

Jesus, the Saviour

She will give birth to a Son, and you shall name Him Jesus (The Lord is salvation), for He will save His people from their sins.”

(MATTHEW 1:21 AMP)
The birth of the Lord Jesus Christ was preceded by angelic visitation and Holy Ghost impartation. The virgin Mary received a special visitation. Joseph also received a special angelic visitation not to part ways with Mary because of the anointed saviour she was carrying.
Their obedience and faith in the Lord gave us the Saviour of the world. The name Jesus meaning The Lord is Salvation was pronounced by the angel during the visitation. This was a prophetic declaration as His name depicted what He came to offer mankind.
As we get ready to celebrate the birth of Jesus, position yourself to receive a holy ghost and angelic visitation that will be accompanied by a prophetic declaration into your life. Receive this complete package in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Love your Enemies

But I say to you, love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

(MATTHEW 5:44 AMP)
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

(Matthew 5:44 KJV)
Na me deɛ, mese mo sɛ monnɔ mo atamfoɔ, na mommɔ mpaeɛ mma wɔn a wɔtaa mo no;

(Mateo 5:44 ASWDC)
Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!
Glory! Glory! Glory!
Thanking God for a brand new day and for the gift of life.
In today’s devotional Jesus Christ gives us a direct command or instruction. Let’s go and do likewise.
I have provided three versions of the scripture today so that we interact with today’s devotional. What are your fresh thoughts about this? Share with us as briefly as you can.
Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you and pray for those who despise you.
My simple message to kick start the discussion is #OVERLOOK  all that the supposedly enemies or real enemies do to you so that you can obey and observe this portion of scripture. It is not easy but God has given us the grace that is why Jesus Christ has directed! Share your fresh thoughts now! Blessings

Seek God’s Kingdom First

But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right–the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.
(MATTHEW 6:33 AMP)
Many are the needs and wants of we humans. We are always running up and down to pursue them. This morning the Word of God is giving us a new priority list or scale of preference.
The scripture says that what should be of foremost importance to us is to seek the Kingdom of God and its righteousness. We therefore have to follow after Christ Jesus and make Him our Lord and Personal Saviour and live according to Word of God.
As we live right with the Lord, His seeds of righteousness within us will begin to bear fruits that will produce the needs and wants that we require in this life. As we make God our priority, He will make our needs His priority.
Pursue after God’s Kingdom and righteousness and all other things shall be added unto you. Blessings.
