Encourage, Comfort and Build one another up in the Lord

Therefore encourage and comfort one another and build up one another, just as you are doing.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 AMP

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

The Apostle Paul wrote this epistle to encourage the church at Thessalonica to continue with the good works they were doing. That is to continually encourage one another, holding the hands of those who were weak in faith just to be sure that none of them lost His or her Faith in Christ Jesus.

This is a requirement for you and I also as Children of God to seek to encourage one another through words of encouragement and prayer and also the little support we can offer just to ensure that a brother or sister does not lose their Faith in the Lord.

As we do this we are building up one another in Christ and establishing the Kingdom of God right here on earth. Shining the light of Jesus Christ to our world so we can win others for Him.

May the Lord help us to be able to encourage, Comfort and Build one another up in the Faith. May we always be a source of encouragement for those around us in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Forgive one another as the Lord forgave us and continues to forgive us

bearing graciously with one another, and willingly forgiving each other if one has a cause for complaint against another; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so should you forgive.

COLOSSIANS 3:13 AMP

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

In today’s scripture, Apostle Paul makes a very profound statement on forgiveness, this was also stated by our Lord Jesus Christ when He taught us how to pray.

Forgive us our debts as we also forgive those who trespass against us! This is what Jesus taught us, we therefore need to forgive others as we have enjoyed the Father’s forgiveness and continue to enjoy it.

This was further emphasised by Apostle Paul so that we will not be tempted to forget to forgive others. The scripture says forbearing graciously, we need God’s help to be able to do this.

May the Lord help us to bear graciously with one another and also forgive as the Lord himself taught us. May the Grace to forgive fall on us in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

God is on our Side, no one can overcome us

What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us?
Romans 8:31 AMP

Glory and honour be unto the Most High God for a brand new day. May His name be glorified now and forever more.

Whose side do you belong? The side of the Lord is victorious, heaven bound, full of grace, favour, peace, joy and mercy. The Lord’s side has conquerors and overcomers, very blessed people. I choose to be on this side, what about you?

All these have been made so because The Most High God allowed His only begotten son to die and conquer the works of the enemy on our behalf.

Choose therefore to be on the Lord’s side for your victory is at hand. His Greatness will come through for us and nothing can overcome us. The enemy will come in diverse ways but the Spirit of Lord within us will raise a standard against them and grant us victory.

May we appropriate our victory in Christ Jesus as we stay on the Lord’s side. Yes, God is with us and we are conquerors and overcomers in Jesus Mighty name! Amen.

Be devoted to one another and Love others unconditionally

Be devoted to one another with [authentic] brotherly affection [as members of one family], give preference to one another in honor;
Romans 12:10 AMP

Hallelujah and Praise be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Let us celebrate the goodness of the Lord.

Our love must have its root from the love of God that caused Jesus Christ to die to save the world. Our love must be genuine love and not based on pretence.

Why are we showing love to someone? Is it for us to win favour or for public sympathy? God has called us to demonstrate real and sincere love that goes beyond pretence and politeness. It requires us to genuinely help others become better people.

Our love must honour others because they have been created in the image of God and God is Love.

May the Lord help us to love and honour one another based on His love for us. May our love seek genuinely to build up others and make them better people to the glory of God in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Jesus’ Commandment: Love one another as Jesus Christ did

I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too are to love one another.

Praise, Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day, rejoice and celebrate His goodness today.

Jesus Christ gave this new commandment to His disciples when He started preparing their minds for His sacrifice on the Cross for mankind.

Jesus Christ requested His disciples to emulate His example by loving one another. Jesus had demonstrated unconditional love in His walk with the disciples and was demanding that they did same.

Jesus Christ set an example for His disciples, today it is our turn to also go out there and love one another just like Christ Jesus did. If we identify ourselves as followers of Christ then we must live His example and also obey and observe His Word which He commanded.

May the Love of God be shed abroad in our hearts, may we be the true ambassadors of Christ’s love to the world. May our lifestyles and speech minister love to all that we encounter in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Love One Another, the new Commandment

I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too are to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you have love and unselfish concern for one another.”
JOHN 13:34‭-‬35 AMP

Glory and honour be unto God for a brand new day and the opportunity to connect to the Most High God.

Jesus Christ spoke to His disciples about His betrayal and then proceeded to give them this new commandment. Love is the basis for which The Almighty God gave us Jesus Christ in the first place.

Jesus therefore reiterated the importance of Love by commanding His disciples to love one another and be ambassadors of Love. Their demonstrations of Love will serve as examples for others to follow.

This responsibility is now ours! Our lives should depict the Love of God in action such that it will attract others to come to this loving God.

Love should not be only by speeches but must reflect in the very lives that we live. People must feel and see love in action when they encounter us. In doing this we fulfil the new commandment given by Christ Jesus.

Father help us to be your agents of Love here on earth. May our Love be genuine and deep to bring others into your saving grace in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Let us love and seek the best for one another! Love everyone!

Beloved, let us [unselfishly] love and seek the best for one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves [others] is born of God and knows God [through personal experience].

God is Love, He created us in love. He loved us with an Everlasting Love so caused His only begotten son to die to set us free. God is indeed love.

Today’s scripture says that we should unselfishly love one another and seek the best for them. This is always a difficult thing to do especially where the person to love does not seek your interest or love you.

Are you born of God? Are you a child of God? The scripture says that if we don’t love then we are not born of God and do not know Him.

May we love unconditionally according to God’s word. May our knowledge of God lead us to one another and seek the best for them also in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

God abides in the one who confesses Jesus is Lord

Whoever confesses and acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.

The Lord is with us and dwells in us once we confess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. He comes to indwell us and guide us live our lives in accordance with the Word of God.

Let us therefore confess Jesus as Lord and personal Saviour at this time before we miss that opportunity. He will come and indwell you and you also in Him. It is God who has sustained us in these challenging times.

May we enjoy Jesus’ indwelling and ever presence in our lives as we hold on to Him as our Lord and Saviour. May Jesus Christ be real to us in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Have fervent and unfailing Love for one another

Above all, have fervent and unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins [it overlooks unkindness and unselfishly seeks the best for others].

Today we have another opportunity to LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY and make an impact on lives. The scripture says that we should love fervently, let us therefore do it without restraint.

This is the call for us to love with all that is within us for love takes no record of sin, Love actually overlooks sin. The scripture says that Love covers a Multitude of Sins.

May our Love overlook acts of unkindness, injustice, selfishness and seek the interest of all. May we receive the Grace to LOVE and keep loving in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Love One Another Genuinely

Beloved, if God so loved us [in this incredible way], we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. But if we love one another [with unselfish concern], God abides in us, and His love [the love that is His essence abides in us and] is completed and perfected in us.

Glory be to God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to connect to the Most High God.

Our scriptures for today is focused on the Love we have or show to others. The scripture reminds us of the fact that God loved us first and His show of Love is mind blowing. What then can we also do to demonstrate love to one another.

Let us love one another by sacrificing here and there to ensure that those who come into contact with us leave smiling. As we do those little things for others, it is unto the Lord.

Our show of Love to the people around us translates to our Love for God that we don’t see physically.

The scriptures say that as we love others, God abides in us and His love is completed and perfected in us. May this be our portion.

May we be instruments of Love to those we encounter so we continually enjoy God’s Love. May the Love of God be channelled through us all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen
