God is our Refuge and Shield

You are my hiding place and my shield; I wait for Your word.
Psalms 119:114 AMP

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

According to the Psalmist in this Psalm which is the longest chapter of the bible, God is our Refuge. God is our hiding place. It is God’s Word that gives us Hope, our ability to keep going or holding on.

God is our Refuge and Shield, that is the safest place we can be. Today I invite family and friends who have not secured a place in the Lord yet to take a step in starting a permanent relationship with Jesus Christ. As we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour we find a solid dwelling place in the Lord.

May the Lord be our Refuge and Shield, our hiding place forever. May we delight in His Word and live in Him all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

God will wipe away every tear from our eyes:No Sorrow and Death in God’s Kingdom

and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain; for the former order of things has passed away.”

The book of Revelation gives us a glimpse of heaven according to the revelation John had. The new heaven and earth as described in the chapter and in this verse tells of what God has in store for His people.

What God is preparing for His chosen children is awesome as the scripture describes, no crying, no anguish, no sorrow, no death for every tear shall be wiped away. If these are taken away the obvious replacement include joy, jubilation, peace and laughter. May these be our portion in Jesus Mighty name.

Thank you Lord for blessings stored ahead for those who will opt to follow you to the end. Thank you Father for a godly Kingdom filled with your joy and peace. May we continue to strive for a place in God’s Kingdom in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

The Lamb of God who takes away our sins

The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Praise be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

John the Baptist came as a forerunner preparing the way for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Pharisees and Scribes had been asking him questions as to whether he was the messiah they were expecting just because John was baptizing people in the Jordan.

Today’s scripture is the direct Word of John the Baptist when he saw Jesus coming to him to be baptized. Jesus Christ indeed is the Lamb that takes away the sins of this world. Have you encountered Him?

Jesus Christ was crucified on the Cross to redeem mankind from sin and death and to reconcile us to the Heavenly Father. There is forgiveness now for everyone who confesses and accepts Jesus as Lord and personal Saviour.

May the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of this world be our Lord and Personal Saviour. May we not miss His great sacrifice that reconciles us to God the Father. Thank you Jesus Christ for saving us. Amen.

Jesus was wounded, crushed and punished for Our Salvation

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.

Glory and Honour be to God for this unique day! A day to remember the great sacrifice! It is a gift from God, let us rejoice and be glad in it .Thank you Jesus!

The Lord Jesus Christ endured quite a great deal just for our sake. He was despised and trampled upon but He went through it all to set us free.

Jesus Christ was wounded (pierced), He was crushed, He was beaten and whipped to deliver unto us Salvation and Healing/Deliverance. He bore our transgressions and wickedness, He opted to carry our punishment upon Himself to set us free because He considers us as worthy of the brand new life.

The blood of Jesus Christ is very precious and has eternal power, it is still powerful to heal and save. Call on Jesus now and be saved. Make Him your Lord and Personal Saviour and receive your healing. Spiritual, Emotional, Physical and Financial healing is available as you walk with the Lord.

Thank you Lord that by your stripes we are healed. Thank you for enduring Pain for our gain. Thank you for our salvation and deliverance. Be praised now and forever more. Thank you Jesus!

Fulfilling God’s Purpose for our lives

For if you remain silent at this time, liberation and rescue will arise for the Jews from another place, and you and your father’s house will perish [since you did not help when you had the chance]. And who knows whether you have attained royalty for such a time as this [and for this very purpose]?”

Today’s scripture is about Queen Esther knowing her purpose in the Kings palace at that point in time. As a slave girl who through the favour of God rise to that prestigious position, she had to step up and deliver her people.

Mordecai spoke out the truth to Esther and required of her some actions to save God’s people. The grounds had been prepared spiritually through the fasting and Prayers organised by the Jews. Esther therefore rode on the back of that and with boldness and confidence and approached the King at an inappropriate time.

Esther fulfilled her purpose at that time and deliverance came to her people. May we follow Queen Esther’s plan by laying the foundations spiritually and stepping up for fulfilment.

May the Lord help us to discover our purposes and to walk in them. May we receive grace in abundance to fulfil our God given purposes in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

God’s presence in our all Gatherings

For where two or three are gathered in My name [meeting together as My followers], I am there among them.”
MATTHEW 18:20 AMP

Unto whom do you gather? Is the Lord Jesus Christ considered in your gatherings? The above scripture assures us that if 2 or 3 gather in His name, the ever present God (Omnipresent) turns up.

Our Lord Jesus Christ comes into our gathering when we call upon Him, let us not restrict Him only to the Church, welcome Him into all gatherings and He will smoothly direct affairs.

May we become followers of Jesus Christ! May we remain as His followers! May we experience His presence and His power in our gatherings in Jesus mighty name.

God is on our Side, no one can overcome us

What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us?

Glory and honour be unto the Most High God for a brand new day. May His name be glorified now and forever more.

Whose side do you belong? The side of the Lord is victorious, heaven bound, full of grace, favour, peace, joy and mercy. The Lord’s side has conquerors and overcomers, very blessed people. I choose to be on this side, what about you?

All these have been made so because The Most High God allowed His only begotten son to die and conquer the works of the enemy on our behalf.

Choose therefore to be on the Lord’s side for your victory is at hand. His Greatness will come through for us and nothing can overcome us. The enemy will come in diverse ways but the Spirit of Lord within us will raise a standard against them and grant us victory.

May we appropriate our victory in Christ Jesus as we stay on the Lord’s side. Yes, God is with us and we are conquerors and overcomers in Jesus Mighty name! Amen.

God Our Refuge and Fortress

I will say of the Lord , “He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!”
Psalms 91:2 AMP

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day, the first day of March, the third month of the year. May His name be exalted. Happy New Month.

Psalms 91 is a special psalm that highlights the safety we have in the Most High God. As children of the Most High God dwelling under in His shelter and hiding under His Shadow we claim this protection.

God is our Refuge and Fortress. God is our dwelling place, it is in Him we live and move and have our being. We cannot live outside of God, He is the provider of shelter and safety for those who trust in Him.

God our Fortress is the protection we receive from Him like the military builds a fortified stronghold or town where the enemy cannot dare pass. God has therefore availed a stronger defence than that of the military for all who trust in Him.

May our complete trust be in the Most High God. May the Lord be our Refuge and Fortress. May His divine protection be over us and our families in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Fear not, for I am with you! The Lord our God is re-assuring us that if we have surrendered our lives to Him, then we should not fear but allow Him to take charge of our lives and lead us.

The Lord will strengthen His people and help them in all their endeavours, He will be their guide and guard.

May the mighty right hand of God uphold us His children and direct us at all times. May this hand deliver unto us power, justice, victory and salvation in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

God our Instructor,Teacher and Counsellor

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you [who are willing to learn] with My eye upon you.

Praise God for the blessings of a new day , the penultimate day in 2022. God has been good to us! May we enjoy Jesus in a special way.

Thanks be to God who takes delight in His children and will not allow them to be consumed by any prey. His outstretched hand is a covering for all those who have accepted Him as Lord and personal Saviour.

May we avail ourselves for the Lord’s instructions, teachings and counselling. This is a privilege the child of God enjoys, for the Lord God Almighty to be your instructor and Counsellor is a great honour.

May the Holy Spirit help us to be sensitive to the teachings and counselling that May come our way. May the eye of the Lord continually be on us to shield and direct us in the right path all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Hope in the Lord and Wait expectantly for Him, God is our Help

Why are you in despair, O my soul? Why have you become restless and disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

Praise and glory be to God who has won the victory for us, death could not hold Him down,He is the Risen King, seated in majesty! Lord, you are glorious and amazing, we thank you for ushering us into this brand new day.

If it had not been the Lord on our side let the people of God say it ….mighty are the works of our Lord and Saviour.

This morning we read this scripture and we say that thank you Jesus, many things may be happening around us meant to discourage us and bring our spirit into despair, the challenges of the economy may be bashing us, the January school fees waiting for us, rent challenges, even at times money for food may be a problem, but in all these YOU ARE Lord.

The choice to make this morning is to HOPE in the LORD! The happenings around us are to bring us into despair, make us restless and disquieted but Our God reigns supreme and He is able to blaze through whatever storm we may have.

Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him for He is coming through for us, every storm will become calm with Jesus in the boat. Let us continually praise His holy name for He alone is God and We shall shall experience His visitation once we keep Hope alive! Have Faith in God and His unchangeable Word.

May the Mighty Hand of God deliver help to us in our time of need, May we encounter Him personally. May we receive fresh grace, fresh favour, fresh wisdom and understanding, fresh joy and unique testimonies in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

We were created to worship our Lord and Saviour, the creator of the universe. We live to worship Him. We bow down before you our Maker.

Our God is the creator of heaven and earth and all things, therefore we should always come before Him with our Worship, Praise and honour acknowledging His Majesty.

Receive our Praise and Worship our Lord of Lords. We lift our adoration, thanksgiving and prayer to you our King of Kings. Glory and honour be unto your name now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
