Commit your Works to the Lord

Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him], And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].
PROVERBS 16:3 AMP

Praise, Glory and Hallelujah to the King of Kings for this beautiful day. May the joy of the Lord be with you.

Thanks be to God for His continuous guidance and leadership, anything we place in His hands, He preserves and nurtures.

Today’s scripture says that we should commit our works to the Lord, it literally means surrendering our all to the Lord. What are our works or plans that we think we can handle on our own? Submit them today into the hands of the Master and trust Him to lead the way.

God is a faithful God and will provide the direction and guidance that you need for your plans to succeed. Let us place our absolute trust in the Lord and look out for His outputs for us. You shall succeed with Master Jesus in charge in Jesus Mighty name,Amen.

The Lord Direct your Steps and Establish Them

A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], But the Lord directs his steps and establishes them.
PROVERBS 16:9 AMP

Praise be to God for ushering us into the year 2020 and also a new decade. May His name alone be praised.

Many are the plans and schemes that are designed by man using our own mind and thinking but there is a great God who knows the end from the beginning. A God who has already scanned through the entire decade and the year 2020!

The Lord therefore takes a look at our man-made plans and re-hatches, re-formats, re-moulds, redesigns them for His children.

In 2020, May the Lord always come through to re-shape your plans for your good. May He guide and direct your steps so that they are fully established and rooted in Him. May no step of yours go astray this year because the Lord is with you to direct your affairs.

May His joy, peace, grace, favour, laughter, glory, honour and enlargement go ahead of you this year in Jesus Mighty name. Receive the overtaking anointing for greater works in Jesus name. Happy blessed New year!

Guard your mouth, Protect your life

The one who guards his mouth [thinking before he speaks] protects his life; The one who opens his lips wide [and chatters without thinking] comes to ruin.
(PROVERBS 13:3 AMP)

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day.

The scripture for the day is charging us to carefully process our thoughts before speaking. We should not allow loose words out of our mouths. Think about the consequences of your words before you speak.

The result of thinking before speaking is protection of your life. Destruction comes upon those who speak without reasoning. Our words should edify our hearers.

May Jehovah help us to minister grace to our hearers. May our words always be choice words that bring life in Jesus name. Amen

Better a little with the Lord

Better is a little with the [reverent, worshipful] fear of the Lord  Than great treasure and trouble with it.

(PROVERBS 15:16 AMP)
Praise be to God for a brand new day filled with His grace, favour , peace and joy.
Today the scripture is admonishing us to let the fear of God be the paramount factor in our lives. In the midst of the challenges of this world, if one does not focus on God, we could be tempted to cut corners to gain more.
This morning the book of Proverbs is giving us a godly proverb which is full of wisdom; we should be focused on the fear of the Lord and be content with what we derive from the Lord. It is He who gives us power to make wealth so as we journey with Him in reverence we shall experience His glory in the fullness of time.
Great treasure with troubles should not be the portion of the child of God, you will definitely not have your peace of mind and in some cases, the conditions attached to this may lead to death both spiritually and physically.
Let us walk in the fear of the Lord, He will bless us and our little that gives us enough peace and joy will grow to become bigger and greater in Jesus’ Mighty name. May the Lord amplify any little that you have in walking with Him. Amen.Blessings

Think before Speaking

“The one who guards his mouth [thinking before he speaks] protects his life; The one who opens his lips wide [and chatters without thinking] comes to ruin.”
(‭‭PROVERBS‬ ‭13:3‬ ‭AMP‬‬)

Today presents another fresh and beautiful day that we can make a difference in our world. The Bible is teaching us that the one who guards his or her mouth protects his/her life.

The wisdom the writer brings to us today is that we should carefully choose our words. We should ponder over our words before uttering them. Our words should be processed before being released into space!

God in His wisdom has given us the ability to think about the things we say, we therefore chart the wisdom path when we carefully think through what we say. It saves us from a lot of trouble and unnecessary conflicts.

The tendency to speak up your mind in some situations is there but consider your words as that alone can save some lives and bring glory to God.

The Bible says the one who opens his mouth wide without thinking attracts destruction and trouble unto himself, may this not be your portion.

May you always be associated with choice words that bring life, joy and peace. Remain blessed.

Watch your words

A soft and gentle and thoughtful answer turns away wrath, But harsh and painful and careless words stir up anger.
(PROVERBS 15:1 AMP)

Words are powerful and have the ability to create. God used words to create the entire world. Words are seeds, it is the type of seed you sow that determines the fruit that you harvest.

The book of Proverbs is a wisdom bank and gives great lessons for life. This morning’s scripture says that the way we respond to an issue determines whether there would be peace or strife.

It states that a gentle, kind, careful and thoughtful answer brings peace and therefore joy. Alternatively a harsh answer is a catalyst for anger and wrath. This tells us that the way and manner we speak to every situation determines the outcome. You either create confusion or peace with the words of your mouth.

Let your speech be a blessing at all times. Determine to use choice words. Let your words minister grace unto its hearers. Always pause to consider the impact of the words you are about to utter. May the world be yearning to receive your words at all times. God bless you loads as you sow good seeds with your speech. Amen.
