Receive the Holy Ghost Power to Witness for Jesus

But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people about Me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.”

Praise and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Thanks be to God for the gift of Jesus Christ, these are the words He spoke to His disciples when He was departing to Heaven after appearing to them post resurrection.

The Lord Jesus Christ requested His disciples to wait for the power of the Holy Spirit to come upon them so they can be effective witnesses for Him. It is important that we obey and observe to do what the Word of God tells us. The day of Pentecost revisited!

Hallelujah! The power of the Holy Spirit empowered the disciples and gave them so much courage and confidence to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. May we run in the same grace!

May we receive the Power of the Holy Ghost to be effective witnesses for Jesus Christ in our families, our neighbourhoods and to the ends of the world. May this power grant us the grace of boldness and utterance to preach His gospel to all in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Confess your Sins freely to God and Receive His forgiveness

If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose].

Today’s scripture sends us back to the foundation of Christianity, if we say we do not have sin then we are deceiving ourselves.

A great promise has been made to all that if we will acknowledge our sins and confess them, we have a just God who will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. His power is available to cleanse us continually.

Have you made your confession to God for His forgiveness? God is waiting and this is your time to confess. His arms are wide open to receive you as you ask for forgiveness and connect to the Most High God.

May we be ready and willing to openly confess our sins to the Most High God so we receive His cleansing. May the cleansing power of God work on us so that we will be conformed to His will and purposes in Jesus Mighty name.

Receive Jesus Christ and Become a Child of God

But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name–

Glory and honour be to God for the offer and opportunity to become children of God. May we enjoy the day that the Lord has made.

Receive Christ Jesus by believing that He is the saviour of the World and attain the special status as a Child of God.

God does not have grandchildren (a Child of someone who is a Child of God) so let’s take the ultimate title of Children of God. Just receive Jesus Christ.

Believing is totally relying on Him, placing absolute trust in the Lord and adhering completely to His Word.

God is ready to welcome you and grant you the honour and privilege of becoming a Child of God with full Kingdom rights.

Keep enjoying your status as a child of God.

May we attain this great privilege of being children of God by walking closely with the Most High God. Help us Lord not to stray from trusting you completely and walking with you in Jesus Mighty name.

Believe in Jesus and receive Faith to move mountains

Jesus replied to them, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, if you have faith [personal trust and confidence in Me] and do not doubt or allow yourself to be drawn in two directions, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen [if God wills it].

Jesus continued His journey to the Cross to save mankind. In today’s scripture Jesus had cursed a Fig tree and the disciples were astonished that the had withered so quickly.

Jesus Christ then addressed the disciples by letting them know that if they will have faith in Him and not doubt, they can accomplish anything they set out to do. This is a charge to us that if we don’t doubt God’s word and fully believe, we will accomplish things we thought were impossible.

As we place our absolute trust in the Lord we have activated God’s power to work on our behalf to move mountains (difficult situations or seemingly impossible things). God will come through for us when we believe.

May our trust in the Lord never waver, may our faith in Jesus Christ remain solid. Fill us Lord with true Faith so that we will accomplish much in Jesus Mighty name. May mountains crumble before us in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Wait patiently for the Lord and receive freedom and deliverance

I waited patiently for the Lord ; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

Waiting for the Lord may not be an easy venture but once we are able to wait for God we receive great benefits. King David waited patiently for the Lord and the Lord heard him and delivered him.

As we wait patiently for the Lord, May we receive a lifting up from any form of miry clay that is holding us back. The Lord will come through for us as we wait patiently for Him to bring us out of any horrible pit and set us up on the rock.

May we not give up during the period of trials and challenges but continue to trust in God and wait patiently till He comes through. God will hear our cry.

May the Lord hear and answer us as we wait patiently for Him. May He set our feet firmly upon a rock and establish our path.
May the Lord place a new song of praise in our mouth.Amen

Lord receive the words of my mouth and the meditation of my Heart

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable and pleasing in Your sight, O Lord , my [firm, immovable] rock and my Redeemer.

Glory be to God for the blessings of a brand new day, we will rejoice and be glad in it.

This is the prayer of King David and it is important that all of us as believers pray that kind of prayer. It is a prayer of full dedication to the Most High God. Complete surrender of our lives to the King of Glory.

Father as your children, we come before your throne and ask that you cleanse and purge us of any sin that will contaminate us and separate us from you.

We join King David to pray that let the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable to you. Let the words that we speak minister grace to the hearers and bring transformation to lives.

Help us O Lord that our hearts and minds will only process things that will please you and are acceptable to you. May your grace help us to do this in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and receive His Peace

Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed).

God the Father gave His only begotten son to die to set us free from sin and death. God however gave us the freewill to make a decision of accepting Jesus Christ into our lives.

A decision to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour means that we are unable to cleanse ourselves of the sin and filth that we live with but recognizing the fact that only Jesus Christ can save us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

This we do by Faith in Christ Jesus, today you also have the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Personal Saviour so that you receive the Peace of God. The peace of God will settle you in all spheres of life as you fully rely on God and entrust ALL to Him.

May the Lord help us to commit our lives completely Jesus Christ and thereby receive the Peace of God that passes all understanding. May great grace abound towards us in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Receive God’s abundant Grace

And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity.

What a glorious day we have been blessed with! May we lift up our voices and celebrate the goodness of the Lord. Today is boxing day, a time set aside as part of Christmas to be giving gifts.

Our Heavenly Father is the creator of the heavens and earth and all that dwells in this world. He therefore does not have any limitations. In today’s scripture the Apostle Paul makes this profound statement to the church at Corinth.

May the church of today that believes in the Lord Jesus Christ appropriate this abundant grace that leads to all sufficiency.

The cares of this world will continue so far we live in this world but today’s scripture gives us the assurance that once we walk with the Lord Jesus Christ, His sufficient grace will see us through every hurdle.

May God’s sufficient grace, every favour and blessing abound towards us in Jesus Mighty name. May our sufficiency in the Lord enable us to abound every good work and acts of charity in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Receive the Mind of Christ to Honour and Praise God

Receive Eternal Life by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour

“I assure you and most solemnly say to you, the person who hears My word [the one who heeds My message], and believes and trusts in Him who sent Me, has (possesses now) eternal life [that is, eternal life actually begins–the believer is transformed], and does not come into judgment and condemnation, but has passed [over] from death into life.

In today’s scripture Jesus gives us the steps to follow to be sure of our salvation. Firstly you need to hear the Word of God and secondly believe the Word that you have heard.

After hearing and believing the Word, you have to trust the Almighty God who sent Jesus Christ to us. This gives the pass to eternal life, crossing from condemnation, judgement and death over to eternal life. We believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths Jesus is Lord! We therefore start living our eternal life here on earth once we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.

Let’s all work therefore towards our assurance of Salvation by following these steps outlined above. Jesus loves us so much and is waiting to fellowship with us. Let’s begin to take these simple steps towards a greater end with boundless joy.

May the Lord lead us to take steps to secure our salvation with fear and trembling. May God bless us all as we secure our salvation in Christ Jesus as we trust Him completely. Amen.

Receive God’s Healing and Restoration

He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds [healing their pain and comforting their sorrow].

Our God is a Mighty God and none compares to Him. In this Psalm, God’s restoration of Jerusalem is recounted.

The good news for you and I is that God is still in His healing and restoration business. Whatever situation we find ourselves in, God is able to come through for us. The Comfort of God will locate us today!

May every brokenness and wounds we carry in our lives be healed in Jesus Mighty name. May we receive the deliverance and restoration that comes from the Most High God in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Acknowledge, Confess and Believe that Jesus is Lord and receive your Salvation

because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

God gave us His only begotten son to die to save us. The salvation does not come automatically but we need to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.

This we accomplish by following the scripture for the day, we acknowledge first, confess with our mouth and believe in our heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and Saviour and is able to save us.

This process acknowledges His power, authority and majesty as God! Salvation is therefore free and all one needs is to acknowledge Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Saviour.

Take steps today to obtain Salvation by confessing with your mouth and believing in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord.

May we confess and acknowledge Jesus Christ as the only name that can save us from eternal destruction and give us eternal life in Christ Jesus. May we be rooted in Christ Jesus. Amen.
