God is our Refuge and Shield

You are my hiding place and my shield; I wait for Your word.
Psalms 119:114 AMP

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

According to the Psalmist in this Psalm which is the longest chapter of the bible, God is our Refuge. God is our hiding place. It is God’s Word that gives us Hope, our ability to keep going or holding on.

God is our Refuge and Shield, that is the safest place we can be. Today I invite family and friends who have not secured a place in the Lord yet to take a step in starting a permanent relationship with Jesus Christ. As we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour we find a solid dwelling place in the Lord.

May the Lord be our Refuge and Shield, our hiding place forever. May we delight in His Word and live in Him all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

God Our Refuge and Fortress

I will say of the Lord , “He is my refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!”

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day, the first day of March, the third month of the year. May His name be exalted. Happy New Month.

Psalms 91 is a special psalm that highlights the safety we have in the Most High God. As children of the Most High God dwelling under in His shelter and hiding under His Shadow we claim this protection.

God is our Refuge and Fortress. God is our dwelling place, it is in Him we live and move and have our being. We cannot live outside of God, He is the provider of shelter and safety for those who trust in Him.

God our Fortress is the protection we receive from Him like the military builds a fortified stronghold or town where the enemy cannot dare pass. God has therefore availed a stronger defence than that of the military for all who trust in Him.

May our complete trust be in the Most High God. May the Lord be our Refuge and Fortress. May His divine protection be over us and our families in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

The Name of the Lord is our Strong Tower and refuge

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs to it and is safe and set on high [far above evil].
PROVERBS 18:10 AMP

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful Sunday and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Praise God for the name of the Lord! It is the safety net we have as children of God. A tower that shields us from the wild things of this world that can destroy our lives.

The righteous run to the Strong Tower by obeying His commandments and walking in them. Abiding by the Word of God is safety by itself as we receive counsel and direction from the Word of God.

May we hold on to the name of the Lord as our Strong Tower and refuge, may we abide by His Word and walk in Safety. May we remain in Him and high above any evil in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

God is our Refuge and Strength, a very present help in time of need

God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], A very present and well-proved help in trouble.
PSALM 46:1 AMP

Hallelujah to the Most High God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

God is our refuge, He is our hiding place, our dwelling is in the Lord. No one can pluck out the one hidden in the Lord. In Him we live, move and have our being.

God is our strength, He empowers us to do things that we cannot do with our own strength, His impenetrable strength is what is availed to us as our portion.

God should therefore be our refuge and Strength at all times, He is our present help in times of trouble, that is God is with us when we experience challenges. He is the reason why the challenges do not crush us or swallow us up. He is with us as we go through the fire and floods, our ever present Help!

May we enjoy God’s presence and His well prepared solutions to all our issues all the time. May the Most High God continue to be our Refuge and Strength all the days of our lives. Amen.
