God’s Love:Christ Died for Us when we were still sinners!

But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
ROMANS 5:8 AMP

Thanks be to God for this day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

It takes a lot of effort to go the extra mile to help a friend in need, Jesus demonstrated greater Love by opting to die a shameful death on the cross to give salvation to mankind. To hang on a tree as a cursed person just to get human beings translated from the Kingdom of darkness into the marvellous Light of God’s Kingdom.

The interesting and amazing thing is that this sacrifice was made while humans were deep in sin, no wonder scripture says that Love covers a multitude of sins.

God’s love is very deep and we need to emulate this by also reaching out to the Lost, sharing the gospel with them and bringing them to God’s saving grace. As you read this today, make sure that you don’t allow this day to slip by without committing your life to Jesus Christ by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Personal Saviour.

May God bless us all as we keep the faith and run the race ahead of us through to eternity.May the love of God compel us to share His salvation message to all mankind in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Rejoice in Hope, Be Patient in Tribulations and Constant in Prayer

constantly rejoicing in hope [because of our confidence in Christ], steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength],
ROMANS 12:12 AMP

Hallelujah to the King of Kings for this beautiful day and the gift of life. May our Sunday be blessed greatly.

Thanks be to God for the gift of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Without these precious gifts there is no way we can rejoice and be patient during tribulations, it would have prevented us from even praying.

Glory be to God for the Holy Spirit at work in us that empowers us to be able to look ahead in Hope of Christ’s coming. This hope energizes us to go through the challenges of today with fervency and consistency in Prayer that one day we shall be with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in the awesome mansions He has prepared in His Father’s house for us.

May the Lord help us to Rejoice in Hope, be steadfast in distress and devoted to Prayer. May we live completely for Christ as our Lord and Saviour. God will definitely come through for us in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

I am Not Ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation [from His wrath and punishment] to everyone who believes [in Christ as Savior], to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
ROMANS 1:16 AMP

Glory be to God for this beautiful day. May the joy of the Lord be our portion in Jesus Mighty name.

Apostle Paul made this profound statement and lived it out during his life and ministry. This is the example Jesus Christ requires from us too. Will we be able to stand like Apostle Paul and say that we are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ? Paul was not ashamed because the gospel itself is the Power!

Hallelujah! The gospel of Jesus Christ is the Power of God unto Salvation. Therefore as we boldly declare the gospel of Jesus Christ, salvation is coming to the unsaved, the oppressed and trouble hearted.

May the Lord help us to carry His gospel to all without being ashamed. May we receive the boldness and confidence to preach the truth and unadulterated Word of God to bring salvation to all in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

The Wages of Sin is Death but the gift of God is eternal life

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers] is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
ROMANS 6:23 AMP

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Glory be to God for bringing us to a new year, hallelujah!

Today’s scripture is simple and straight forward. God has given us a free gift, His Son Jesus Christ! The wages of sin is Death!

The sinner has his wages of eternal death determined but there is hope if the sinner decides to change his final destination. God has gifted us with Jesus Christ who will translate one from death to eternal life.

The formula is to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour by believing in our heart and confessing with our mouth. This is what hands over the gift of eternal inheritance and life in Christ Jesus to us.

May we receive this free gift of grace that gives eternal life in Christ Jesus and escape eternal condemnation in Jesus Mighty name. Abide in Jesus Christ all the days of your life in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Hardship Produces Hope and Assurance of Salvation

And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance; and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation].
ROMANS 5:3‭-‬4 AMP

Glory be to God for this blessed day, may we rejoice and be glad in it.
Today’s scripture is drawing our minds to the fact that there are some benefits during our trial or difficult moments. God is able to use that to build up our character in the Faith.
We can recall the persecution of the church in Acts of the Apostles that sent Philip to Samaria to preach the gospel.

This is to draw attention to the fact that it is not only a gloomy situation when we enter into trials. We should therefore continue to trust God even in difficult moments that they will work together for our good.

May the Lord help us so that with endurance we will look forward to seeing Christ even in our challenging moments. God be our strength. May we not lose our salvation because of challenges that may have come our way. Amen.

Do not pay evil with evil but Do Good to ALL

See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek that which is good for one another and for all people.
1 THESSALONIANS 5:15 AMP

Thank you Lord for granting us another blessed day. Be exalted and glorified now and forever more.

Apostle Paul charged the Church at Thessalonica to treat one another kindly and in love. In his ministry he once told the people of God that they should emulate him as emulates Christ.

This is certainly one of the patterns of Christ that we need to emulate. Even on the cross, Jesus was forgiving those who were mocking Him. He did not allow Peter to physically fight for Him when He was arrested but rather showed love by fixing the ear that was cut off back.

The standard is therefore set for us to follow since we have taken after His name! The Holy Spirit that dwells in us is our Helper, we cannot do this on our own. As human beings we tend to take stock of wrongs people have done to us.

The charge today is that do not pay back the evil others have done to you but pay back with love.

Help us Lord Jesus to love and do good to all people irrespective of what we may have gone through. Holy Spirit lead us and strengthen us to do your will in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Our Future Glory far surpasses present suffering

For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us!
ROMANS 8:18 AMP

Praise the Lord for a brand new day, rejoice and be glad in it.

The Apostle Paul went through a lot of challenges and difficulties in his ministry and therefore this statement is a reality check. Have you encountered any tough times in your walk with God. Have you been ridiculed for choosing to follow Christ? Have you been involved in outreaches in the most remote places, these call for a lot of sacrifices. What other sacrifices have you made for the sake of God’s Kingdom.

The day’s scripture tells us that our mind should be on the glory of the Lord that we shall experience in Christ when He comes for His own. The bible says in His Father’s house, there are many mansions prepared for those who will hold on to the Faith till the end.

Most High God help us to endure any challenges or difficulties we may encounter in our service to the Lord. May we keep trusting God to encounter the future Glory. May the Lord help us in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Let God be on your Side

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
(Romans 8:31 KJV)

Praise the Lord for a brand new day. May His name be glorified.

Whose side do you belong? The side of the Lord is victorious, heaven bound, full of grace, favour, peace, joy and mercy. The Lord’s side has conquerors and overcomers, very blessed people.

All these have been made so because The Most High God allowed His only begotten son to die and conquer the works of the enemy on our behalf.

Choose therefore to be on the Lord’s side for your victory is at hand. His Greatness will come through for us and nothing can overcome us. The enemy will come in diverse ways but the Spirit of Lord within you will raise a standard against them and grant you victory.

Hallelujah, let’s confess and appropriate our victory in Christ Jesus as we stay on His side. Amen.

Not Ashamed of the Gospel

I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation [from His wrath and punishment] to everyone who believes [in Christ as Savior], to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
(ROMANS 1:16 AMP)
Hallelujah and Glory be to God for the gift of Salvation. Thanks be to God for gifting world with His son who died to bring us salvation.
The gospel is the good news that God loves us so much that He gave His son Jesus Christ to die to save us from our sins.
The death of Jesus Christ has opened the gate of Salvation to us all, all you need is to confess Jesus as Lord and Saviour and believe in your heart.
It is therefore the responsibility of the Child of God to share the good news to the world so that all will come to the saving knowledge of the Most High God.
May the power of God break any shyness in us so that we will stand boldly and declare the good news to all wecome into contact with. May the Lord bless His Word. May it be rooted in our hearts.

God’s Riches, Wisdom and Knowledge

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and decisions and how unfathomable and untraceable are His ways!
(ROMANS 11:33 AMP)

Praise be to God for a brand new day and the start of another working week.

What a Mighty God we serve, full of riches, wisdom and knowledge.

Today we tap into the unsearchable, unfathomable and untraceable depths of riches, wisdom and knowledge.

May our lives be shaped and modelled in the pattern of the Most High God so as children of God, we will showcase His glory to the world.

May we walk in the paths of our Lord and Master Jesus Christ. Enjoy God’s riches, wisdom and knowledge in Jesus name.

The Glory of the Latter is Mega!

For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us!
(ROMANS 8:18 AMP)

By faith we believe that if against all hope, Abraham still believed (Romans 4:18) and it was credited to him as righteousness, nothing shall prevent us from enjoying the latter glory.

In this world we shall encounter some trials and tribulations as part of life, some may seem so daunting to challenge our faith. If we remember the shame that Christ Jesus went through so that we may have life eternal, we shouldn’t see any tribulation worthy to compromise our Faith. Tribulations should not separate us from the love of Christ.

We should learn from Christ’s example that says for the joy thatwas set before Him, He endured the cross. May we be ready to endure any challenge or tribulation because of the Glory of the latter!

May we encounter the glory of the latter on all fronts! May it be mega unto you in Jesus Mighty name. Shalom

Glorify, Honour and Praise God

Now may the God who gives endurance and who supplies encouragement grant that you be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify and praise and honor the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(ROMANS 15:5‭-‬6 AMP)

God is our ever present help in time of need. He does not leave us nor forsake us.
As our ever present help, He supplies the grace and strength that we need at every point in time in our lives. What we need is to be sensitive to His promptings.

As the Lord leads and strengthens us, may we become strong resolute in Him so that we are well grounded in Jesus Christ. From this position, it becomes easy to glorify His name, Honour Him and Praise God ceaselessly. May this be our portion in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
