Store God’s Word in your heart to guard against sin

Your word I have treasured and stored in my heart, That I may not sin against You.
PSALMS 119:11 AMP

Glory, honour and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Hallelujah.

Thank God for the creative ability of the Word of God. Today we see another important phase of the Word, the Word as a defence against sin.

King David said , he hid the Word of God in his heart so he would not sin against the Lord. Psalm 119 spoke a lot about the various abilities of the Word. Today we are also challenged to imitate and follow the Psalmist by accepting the Word of God as a treasure and hiding it in our hearts as a defence or as insurance against sin.

We need to study it and understand so we do what the Word of God requires of us.

May the Lord help us to hide the Word of God in our hearts so we will not sin against the Most High God. May the Word remain as a treasure stored in our hearts forever more in Jesus Mighty name,Amen.

Confess your Sins freely to God and Receive His forgiveness

If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just [true to His own nature and promises], and will forgive our sins and cleanse us continually from all unrighteousness [our wrongdoing, everything not in conformity with His will and purpose].

1 JOHN 1:9 AMP

Praise and adoration be to the King of Kings for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture sends us back to the foundation of Christianity, if we say we do not have sin then we are deceiving ourselves.

A great promise has been made to all that if we will acknowledge our sins and confess them, we have a just God who will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. His power is available to cleanse us continually.

Have you made your confession to God for His forgiveness? God is waiting and this is your time to confess. His arms are wide open to receive you as you ask for forgiveness and connect to the Most High God.

May we be ready and willing to openly confess our sins to the Most High God so we receive His cleansing. May the cleansing power of God work on us so that we will be conformed to His will and purposes in Jesus Mighty name.

The Lamb of God who takes away our sins

The next day he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!
John 1:29 AMP

Praise be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

John the Baptist came as a forerunner preparing the way for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Pharisees and Scribes had been asking him questions as to whether he was the messiah they were expecting just because John was baptizing people in the Jordan.

Today’s scripture is the direct Word of John the Baptist when he saw Jesus coming to him to be baptized. Jesus Christ indeed is the Lamb that takes away the sins of this world. Have you encountered Him?

Jesus Christ was crucified on the Cross to redeem mankind from sin and death and to reconcile us to the Heavenly Father. There is forgiveness now for everyone who confesses and accepts Jesus as Lord and personal Saviour.

May the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of this world be our Lord and Personal Saviour. May we not miss His great sacrifice that reconciles us to God the Father. Thank you Jesus Christ for saving us. Amen.

Repent and Return to God for forgiveness of sins

So repent [change your inner self–your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God–seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day];
ACTS 3:19 AMP

Glory and Praise to the King of Kings for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture is part of the Sermon preached by Apostle Peter after the healing of the lame man at the beautiful gate. Peter used the opportunity to present the gospel to the crowd that gathered in amazement at the healing of the lame man.

The Apostle made it clear that Jesus Christ whom they ridiculed and killed is the source of the power by which the lame man had been healed.

The simple message therefore was for them to repent and Return to the Lord so they may be forgiven of their sins and enjoy the presence of the Lord.
This message is relevant to us today, Jesus Christ is ready to accept us and forgive us of all our sins if we come to Him to forgive us and cleanse us.

May we all repent and Return to God for His forgiveness and cleansing. May we encounter His presence and restoration in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God

since all have sinned and continually fall short of the glory of God,
ROMANS 3:23 AMP

Praise Glory and honour for a brand new day. Thanks be to God for Grace and mercy that still abound towards us!

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has paid the ultimate price that has translated us from a place of no hope to eternal life in Christ Jesus.

Yes all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God, the wages of sin is death but Thanks be to God for redeeming us and giving us yet another opportunity to live a fulfilling life.

Jesus’ death on the cross has restored the lost glory to us. What is expected is for all of us to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Saviour to receive this restored glory.

Thank you Father for your unlimited love towards us by giving your Son Jesus Christ to die to save us. Indeed it is in you that we live and move and have our being. Amen. Glory be God!

The Wages of Sin is Death but the gift of God is eternal life

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers] is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
ROMANS 6:23 AMP

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Glory be to God for bringing us to a new year, hallelujah!

Today’s scripture is simple and straight forward. God has given us a free gift, His Son Jesus Christ! The wages of sin is Death!

The sinner has his wages of eternal death determined but there is hope if the sinner decides to change his final destination. God has gifted us with Jesus Christ who will translate one from death to eternal life.

The formula is to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour by believing in our heart and confessing with our mouth. This is what hands over the gift of eternal inheritance and life in Christ Jesus to us.

May we receive this free gift of grace that gives eternal life in Christ Jesus and escape eternal condemnation in Jesus Mighty name. Abide in Jesus Christ all the days of your life in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
