The Apostle Paul said that he was crucified with Christ and that the life he led was no longer his but that of Christ Jesus. Can we give same testimony?
Today’s scripture is a reminder that we need to surrender our lives to Christ Jesus first and subsequently crucify our sinful nature.
Christ Jesus in our lives brings a new life, the sinful nature with its passions and desires are overpowered because the Holy Spirit has come to dwell in that body. We need to employ the help of the Holy Spirit to put the old nature under subjection.
May all our sinful passions and desires be nailed to the cross of Jesus Christ. Enjoy your brand new life without selfish feelings and desires. God be our help.
