Our Future Glory far surpasses present suffering

For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us!
ROMANS 8:18 AMP

Glory , honour and Praise be to the Lord for a brand new day, rejoice and be glad in it. Celebrate the goodness of the Lord.

The Apostle Paul went through a lot of challenges and difficulties in his ministry and therefore this statement is a reality check.

People of God have you encountered any tough times in your walk with God. Have you been ridiculed for choosing to follow Christ? Have you been involved in outreaches in the most remote places, these call for a lot of sacrifices. What other sacrifices have you made for the sake of God’s Kingdom.

The day’s scripture tells us that our mind should be on the glory of the Lord that we shall experience in Christ when He comes for His own. The bible says in His Father’s house, there are many mansions prepared for those who will hold on to the Faith till the end.

Most High God help us to endure any challenges or difficulties we May encounter in our service to the Lord. May we keep trusting God to encounter the future Glory. May the Lord help us in Jesus Mighty name.

Glorify God when you suffer for Christ

but if anyone suffers [ill-treatment] as a Christian [because of his belief], he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God [because he is considered worthy to suffer] in this name.
1 PETER 4:16 AMP

Praise be to God for a brand new day filled with His goodness, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

The Apostle Peter is challenging Christians to be ready to experience some rough times for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The charge is do not be ashamed if you happen to be insulted/abused/humiliated etc because you opted to follow Christ. We should not allow this to take us away from the faith.

Let Christ always be our example, He suffered mega humiliation and even a shameful death on the cross! We should therefore take a bold stand for Jesus, not ready to compromise our faith when things become a little difficult.

May God help us and strengthen us to be able to stand for Jesus Christ at ALL times. May the glory of God be seen in such times in Jesus Mighty name.Amen.
