Cast your Cares/Burdens upon the Lord

“casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].”

Glory, Honour and Praise be to the Most High God for this beautiful day, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Thanks be to God that we have a caring and loving Father we are able to approach at all times. A great father whose hands and heart are ready to receive His numerous children whenever they come no matter what they are carrying.

Amazing God we come to you this day to handover all our cares and anxieties to you. Everything that is bothering our minds and hearts we pass them over to you for your take over as we lighten our burdens.

We know that you care about us so please release us from all the worries that we have brought to ourselves because of the circumstances surrounding us and happenings around us, we surrender all to you Lord.

Your love and affection for us is beyond understanding and measure, we therefore thank you immensely for taking the burdens off us and handling them yourself.

Thank you Jesus for the world so sweet, May every worry, anxiety, burden,challenge etc be lifted from us. May the Lord help us to walk and live lighter to His glory. Amen.

The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom

Praise, glory and Hallelujah to the King of Kings for this beautiful day, let’s stay in His presence and worship Him!

To worship and praise the Lord, to observe His commandments and stututes means giving reverence to God. That is the fear of the Lord. To deliberately obey and do His will is the beginning of wisdom that the scripture has stated.

To fear Him is the beginning of wisdom but to have understanding and spiritual insight requires that we have knowledge of God. How do you acquire knowledge if you don’t do a deep study?

May the Fear of the Lord be the beginning and establishment of wisdom in our lives. May the careful and deep study of God and His Word give us understanding and spiritual insight in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

The name of the Lord is to be Praised at all times!

From the rising of the sun to its setting The name of the Lord is to be praised [with awe-inspired reverence].
PSALMS 113:3 AMP

The book of Ephesians 2:10 says that we were created for His workmanship, if we do not worship and praise the Lord, He can cause stones to do that!

The Lord deserves to be praised at all times. The creator of the universe should be exalted and glorified morning, noon and evening. The Psalmist says that from the rising of the sun till its going down we should praise the Lord. In other words so far as the breath of life is in us the name of the Lord must be praised.

All glory, all honour, all adoration be unto God the Most High God.

Be exalted, be lifted up, may your Holy name be magnified. We praise and adore you for all the great and mighty things you do for us, with us and through us. Praise the Lord! Praise Jesus now and forever more! Amen.

Bless the Lord O my Soul

Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
Psalms 103:2 NKJV

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

This day the bible enjoins us to follow the steps of King David and show our gratitude to the Most High God.

The Psalmist says Bless the Lord O my Soul and let all that is within me bless His holy name. The verse 2 which is our focus today says that we should bless the Lord and forget not all His benefits.

Are we able to recall all the benefits of the Lord? Are we able to list all the benefits of the Lord. We most times focus on the big things and take the basics of life for granted. Have you thanked God today for the gift of life? Have you considered that your ability to see, walk, talk is something we need appreciate the Lord for?

Most High God we are here today to say thank you for ALL you do for us, yes even the ones we forget to mention. Thank you Father and we praise you with our entire being and families. Be glorified now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

The Lord will be with you through the flood and fire

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.

The Lord on High is the creator of the universe and has all things under His control. If you make the Lord your God, then you are absolutely covered.

Today’s scripture confirms this by telling us that if we have the Most High God as our Lord, when we go through the rivers and water the Lord God will be with us, we shall not drown!

Again as we go through fire, God provides the grace (the air cooler) we need to stand firm, the flames will not destroy us because the Lord our God is Mighty and with us!

May Jehovah God be our shield and defender, may we be insulated by the power of the Most High God against any challenges of life. May the Lord walk with us through any challenges in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Remember and Trust in the Lord

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, But we will remember and trust in the name of the Lord our God.
Psalms 20:7 AMP

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful Sunday and the opportunity gather to worship the Most High God.

Today’s scripture is a Psalm of King David which clearly spells out the power of God. For the Israelites they have fought a lot of battles and won but King David was careful not to attribute their victories to their abilities.

The chariots and horses were a powerful part of their weaponry for battle but this morning the psalm of King David is telling us that TRUSTING IN THE NAME OF THE LORD was far more powerful than the firepower.

The Worship of the Lord which comes with trusting in His name is what gives us victory and not our physical abilities and skills. Our weaponry without Christ could land you us in crisis.

May our trust be in the name of the Lord. May our trust not be in horses and chariots( our strength, skills and possession). May the name of the Lord deliver all victories unto us in Jesus Mighty name

The Name of the Lord is our Strong Tower and refuge

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; The righteous runs to it and is safe and set on high [far above evil].
PROVERBS 18:10 AMP

Praise God for the name of the Lord! It is the safety net we have as children of God. A tower that shields us from the wild things of this world that can destroy our lives.

The righteous run to the Strong Tower by obeying His commandments and walking in them. Abiding by the Word of God is safety by itself as we receive counsel and direction from the Word of God.

May we hold on to the name of the Lord as our Strong Tower and refuge, may we abide by His Word and walk in Safety. May we remain in Him and high above any evil in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

For the Knowledge and glory of the Lord shall fill the earth

Glory and Praise be to God that He has given unto us a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Trust we are getting ready for that day? Have we made the Lord our personal Saviour? Is He ruling in our lives? Yes it is important to live completely for Christ as we approach the day when His knowledge and glory will fill the entire earth.

What will you do that day if you do not have a relationship with the Lord? You may be a stranger when the children of God are enjoying the Knowledge and glory of God.

Father Lord, May our relationship with you be deepened as we position ourselves to dwell in a land filled with your knowledge and glory. May your knowledge and glory fill us now as we get ready for the covering of the earth with your knowledge and glory in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Delight yourself in the Lord and receive from Him your heart desires

Delight yourself in the Lord , And He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart.
PSALM 37:4 AMP

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day and the joy of being alive to celebrate His goodness.

King David wrote this special Psalm and started by saying forget the evil doers, the detractors etc for they will wither away quickly but Trust in the Lord and do good, he therefore continued with today’s scripture.

Delight yourself or enjoy yourself in the Lord, make a joyful noise to the King of Kings for this beautiful day, shout out His glory. Give Him unending praise, Worship His majesty, exalt His holy name, clap all ye people!

Hallelujah! The Lord be glorified now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name! We are delighting ourselves in the Lord today, give Him all the appellations you have and can construct for He alone is Worthy of that.

May we delight ourselves in the Lord as He releases unto us our heart desires and petitions. Enjoy God’s goodness in the land of the living as we delight in Him in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

The Lord is my Rock, Fortress and Deliverer

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and the One who rescues me; My God, my rock and strength in whom I trust and take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower–my stronghold.

Hallelujah we serve an awesome and amazing God! We bless Him for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Let us enjoy in His presence soaking and enjoying Him.

What is God’s position in your life? Let us join King David and confirm God’s position in our lives as our Rock and Fortress. May He be our deliverer too.

Who do you trust? Our trust should be in the Most High God who is our God, Rock and strength! Let’s keep trusting this awesome God as we enjoy Refuge under His eagle’s wings.

For absolute protection both spiritually and physically we look nowhere apart God who is our Shield and the Horn of our Salvation, our stronghold and High tower. In Him is safety!

May the Lord be our Rock, fortress, strength, refuge, horn of salvation and high tower. May the Lord be present in every sphere of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Be ready for the Service of the Lord with Humility

So if I, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you ought to wash one another’s feet as well.

Thanks be to God for this beautiful day, let us celebrate His goodness today, rejoice and be glad in it.

Thank God for giving us Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and also a perfect example. The Son of God came down to earth to serve us and died a lowly death so that we might have life eternal.

Jesus’ act of washing their feet also symbolized that the disciples had a part of Him or have been identified with Him.(John 13:6-8)

He washed the feet of the disciples in preparing them for the ministry work ahead of them and more so teaching them humility that is required to make them successful in the work ahead.

Jesus said in the scripture that now that He has washed their feet, they should go and do likewise, it is now our turn to also go out there and serve the Lord with humility. If the Son of God humbled Himself and served, you and I should learn from this great example and go do likewise.

May we receive the Grace to serve tirelessly with humility throughout our lives till His coming. May we be available instruments in His hand for greater service. Help us Lord. Amen.

Call on the name of the Lord and be saved

For “ whoever calls on the name of the Lord [in prayer] will be saved .”

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day. We will rejoice and be glad in it.

God is good to us! He gave His only begotten son to go through the ultimate sacrifice so we may have eternal life.
Praise and Glory be unto His Holy name.

Christ Jesus died so we may have life eternal and because of that anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Have you called on the name of the Lord yet? This is an opportune time and moment to call on the name of the Lord. Jesus Christ is ready to receive us at anytime so call on the name of the Lord and be saved!

Thank you Father once again for the gift of Jesus Christ, we shall continue to call on the name of the Lord and receive salvation. May we remain in Christ Jesus now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
