Stand up Young people and be an example unto the Believers

Let no one look down on [you because of] your youth, but be an example and set a pattern for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in [moral] purity.
1 TIMOTHY 4:12 AMP

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Apostle Paul was encouraging Timothy to stand tall and not to allow anyone despise his youth.

Young people, stand up and be counted! Influence your world with your deeds and speech.

Whether you are young like Timothy or old, let Christ be seen in your daily walk and interactions with others. As we keep modelling ourselves after Jesus, our lives are ministering to the world.

Pause for a moment and reflect on your life; are you a role model worthy of emulation? Does your speech reflect Christ? Is your conduct aligned to His Word? Are you walking in love, faith and purity? May the Lord equip us to be His worthy ambassadors!

May the Spirit of God quicken us in our inner man so that we will be built up and rooted in Him and boldly declare our stand in Christ!

May God’s image be formed in us and May the confidence we receive in Christ Jesus lead us on to influence and affect generations in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Encourage, Comfort and Build one another up in the Lord

Therefore encourage and comfort one another and build up one another, just as you are doing.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 AMP

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

The Apostle Paul wrote this epistle to encourage the church at Thessalonica to continue with the good works they were doing. That is to continually encourage one another, holding the hands of those who were weak in faith just to be sure that none of them lost His or her Faith in Christ Jesus.

This is a requirement for you and I also as Children of God to seek to encourage one another through words of encouragement and prayer and also the little support we can offer just to ensure that a brother or sister does not lose their Faith in the Lord.

As we do this we are building up one another in Christ and establishing the Kingdom of God right here on earth. Shining the light of Jesus Christ to our world so we can win others for Him.

May the Lord help us to be able to encourage, Comfort and Build one another up in the Faith. May we always be a source of encouragement for those around us in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

God is My Shield, My Glory and the Lifter up of my Head

But You, O Lord , are a shield for me, My glory [and my honor], and the One who lifts my head.
PSALM 3:3 AMP

Praise and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day, Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Is Jesus Christ your Lord and Personal Saviour? Accept Him now by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth Jesus Christ is Lord.

Yes! We can now say that God is our shield for His covering is upon us because His precious blood has purchased you and I from the hands of the enemy. The Lord is our defence, He protects us against all the schemes and devices of the enemy. It is a great thing to have God as a Shield.

Our glory and honour! Wow, God has decorated us and set us apart as His special people. Such an amazing and glorious position to be in, let’s not take it for granted. God is our honour and glory.

The lifter up of our heads, He has wiped away every shame and placed us at a position of glory and honour. The weeping has been replaced with Joy, the hard labour with His favour. His abundant grace has located us and we jubilate at the fact that He is our Lord and lifter up of our heads.

May you experience God in a unique way ,He is our Shield, glory and honour and the Lifter up of our heads. Amen.

Deny yourself, take up your Cross and Follow Jesus

And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross daily [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]. For whoever wishes to save his life [in this world] will [eventually] lose it [through death], but whoever loses his life [in this world] for My sake, he is the one who will save it [from the consequences of sin and separation from God].

Glory and honour be unto God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Jesus laid down the conditions required for the disciples to be able to work effectively and efficiently in the ministry. These conditions are applicable to us today.

Firstly, He called for self sacrifice(deny yourself of the pleasures of the world) to be able to follow Jesus Christ, set aside self interest and look at the bigger picture of serving the Lord selflessly.

Be ready and willing to go all out for Jesus! The willingness to endure any challenge that might come for the sake of the gospel reaching the utter most part of the world.

Pattern your life after Jesus Christ so that as the world sees you they are reading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Following Jesus’ life without any compromise so that your life will point others to Christ.

May Jesus be seen in our lives, may we be the carriers of the gospel, may we be instruments of God’s love and may the lost be saved through our obedience. God bless you. Amen.

Let your Words Minister Grace and Build others up

Do not let unwholesome [foul, profane, worthless, vulgar] words ever come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good for building up others, according to the need and the occasion, so that it will be a blessing to those who hear [you speak].
EPHESIANS 4:29 AMP

Praise Jesus for another day and the opportunity to rejoice and celebrate His goodness!
Thanks be to God for His Word today.

As ambassadors of Jesus Christ we need to be conscious about the words we use, they should reflect what Jesus Christ would have said in whatever situation we find ourselves.

The charge is to let no evil or corrupt communication come out of our mouth. The amplified version says no vulgar, profane or foul language should be spoken by the child of God.

May the words that we speak bring encouragement to the disheartened. May the words that we speak bring life to people and create an increasing desire to serve the Lord. May we abide in Jesus and let Him be reflected in our speech in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Take up your Cross and Follow Jesus
