Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the start of the Month of April . Thanks be to God for the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.
Apostle Paul charged the believers in Corinth not to repeat the mistakes that their forefathers did in Israel.
As believers we have a lot of freedom but we need to assess whether our choices are beneficial and glorifies God. We can guide our actions with the question “ What would Jesus have done in this situation “?
Today’s scripture therefore calls on us to ensure that whatever we do must have God’s love as the basis. It must bring glory to God. We need to keep asking ourselves whether the action we are taking glorifies God. Grant us your grace O Lord!
Our character, attitude, relationships and experience must be excellent before our God giving Glory to Him.
Lord help us to live to glorify you at all times, May our motives always be based on God’s love. May our actions always honour you the Most High God and be to your glory.Amen
