Love rejoices not at injustice but with the Truth

It does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail].
1 CORINTHIANS 13:6 AMP

Glory be to God for the blessings of a brand new day 11/11. May the joy of the Lord be with us throughout our day.

Love abides forever and it underlines all that we do in life. Anything we do without Love is like sounding clanging cymbals and noisy gong gong! Love always seeks the interest of others.

Today’s scripture says that Love does not rejoice at injustice! Why should love enjoy injustice when its foundation is seeking the interest and betterment of all. God is Love! God is a God of Justice so how can He rejoice at injustice?

Love rejoices at the Truth! That is what God is interested in. The truth the bible says will set us free, therefore it is not strange for Love and truth to be intertwined. The foundation of all our freedom is God’s love and it is that truth that brings the freedom.

Love abides, Love remains, Love is the greatest of all, Love rejoices at the Truth, let us therefore Love God and Love the Truth.

May truth be tied around our necks, may we be God’s instruments of Love carrying His truth to the generations. May God help us to accomplish His purposes in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Love That Never Fails

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.”
1 Corinthians 13:4 (NIV)

Glory be to God for the gift of a new day filled with His grace and mercy.

Today’s scripture beautifully reminds us of what true love looks like, not just a feeling, but a lifestyle that reflects the very nature of God.

Love is patient , it bears with others’ weaknesses and gives room for growth. Love is kind , it extends grace, compassion, and forgiveness even when it is not returned. True love does not envy others’ blessings or boast about its own; instead, it celebrates others with humility and sincerity.

In a world where selfishness and pride often overshadow genuine affection, God calls us to live out agape ,His divine, unconditional love. This kind of love goes beyond emotions; it is a daily decision to walk in humility, patience, and kindness toward all people.

Let this verse challenge you today: Are your words, thoughts, and actions guided by love? When we choose to love as Christ loves, we reflect His heart to the world around us.

Heavenly Father, thank You for showing me what true love means through Your Son Jesus Christ. Help me to walk in patience and kindness, free from envy and pride. Let my love for others reflect Your character and bring glory to Your name. Fill my heart with Your unconditional love so I may share it wherever I go in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Victory Through Christ Jesus

but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory [as conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 CORINTHIANS 15:57 AMP

Praise be to God for this beautiful day and the gift of life. May we cultivate the joy of the Lord available for today.

Our victory in this world comes from the Lord alone! Can we sing Todd Dulaney’s “Victory belongs to Jesus”. Of a truth no one can stand our God and no one will be able to stop Him.

We have victory in the name of Jesus Christ over every situation because Christ Jesus nailed them to the cross. Bible says that the horse is ready for battle but victory is from the Lord (Proverbs 21:31).

Today’s scripture points to the fact that it is only God who gives us victory over sin and death, this is indeed both physical and spiritual victory. We are victorious through Christ Jesus.

May the Lord grant you victory on every side as you trust in Him with all your heart. Remain victorious in Christ Jesus’ Mighty name, Amen.

Be on Guard, Stand Firm in Faith and be Courageous

I Corinthians 16:13 NKJV
[13] Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

Hallelujah! Praise be to God for ushering us into a brand new day. We have every cause to rejoice and be glad for how far God has brought us.

In today’s scripture Apostle Paul continues to charge us to stand firm in the Lord not wavering in Faith, being courageous and acting as matured people in the Lord. This requires a closer walk with the Lord in the study of His Word and standing in prayer.

We should be on guard and let the Word of God guide our walk and actions. The Love of God should be our motivation and inspiration for each step taken.

May God’s word energize us to hold on in faith, stay brave and courageous. May we stay alert in the Spirit and be on guard so nothing takes us away from the love of God in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ

I Corinthians 3:7 NKJV
[7] So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture is a statement made by Apostle Paul with the purpose of encouraging the church at Corinth that evangelism was the responsibility for all.

He narrated that he planted Appolos watered and God gave the increase in the preceding verse, this means that you and I have a role to play in spreading the good news but it is not for us to do the conversion. That is up to God Himself.

It is important that we commit to the great commission and use any available opportunity to preach Jesus Christ to the world. Sow a seed today ! The watering and the increasing will be taken care of by God Himself.

May the Lord grant us the grace to share His gospel to all who are perishing, may the Holy Spirit empower us to go in boldness and declare the love of God to the world in Jesus Mighty name.

Do you not know and understand that you [the church] are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells [permanently] in you [collectively and individually]?
1 Corinthians 3:16 AMP

Thank God for the gift of Salvation which translates us from sin and death to God’s Light and eternal life in Christ Jesus.

As born again children of God, the Spirit of God dwells in us and our bodies have been sanctified by the Lord Jesus Christ.

In the days of old, the presence of God was only found in the tabernacles and Temples but praise God for Jesus Christ who came to die for us, we are transformed and have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us. That is we are God’s temple and therefore our lives should show forth.

May our bodies forever remain the Temple of God with the Holy Spirit dwelling in us. May the Presence of God fill us and abide with us all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name.Amen.

Whatever you do, do it to God’s Glory

So then, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of [our great] God.

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day . Thanks be to God for the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Apostle Paul charged the believers in Corinth not to repeat the mistakes that their forefathers did in Israel.

As believers we have a lot of freedom but we need to assess whether our choices are beneficial and glorifies God. We can guide our actions with the question “ What would Jesus have done in this situation “?

Today’s scripture therefore calls on us to ensure that whatever we do must have God’s love as the basis. It must bring glory to God. We need to keep asking ourselves whether the action we are taking glorifies God. Grant us your grace O Lord!

Our character, attitude, relationships and experience must be excellent before our God giving Glory to Him. Even in our eating and drinking, we must be careful to glorify our God in it.

Lord help us to live to glorify you at all times, May our motives always be based on God’s love. May our actions always honour you the Most High God and be to your glory.Amen

God’s strength and help is available to overcome temptations

No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance]; but God is faithful [to His word–He is compassionate and trustworthy], and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist], but along with the temptation He [has in the past and is now and] will [always] provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it [without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy].
1 CORINTHIANS 10:13 AMP

Praise God for the blessing of a brand new day , we ask for the blessings of the Lord to go ahead of us in every venture this week.

Temptations are real and part of our every day life. Today we receive a scripture that re-assures us that the Lord is with us throughout any temptation that comes our way. “Temptation is an invitation to God’s presence ” YouVersion app

His Word has prepared our minds that the temptation you may have encountered or about to encounter is common, that is a lot of people have experienced it and have survived it.

God is Faithful and He will be with us throughout any temptation that comes our way, the scripture says that He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can stand.

He will always provide a way out so let us be sure our connection with the Most High God is intact so we receive His strength and grace in multiples to overcome temptation with joy. May we receive help from above to say no to temptations.

May the Lord hold our hands and lead us on so that we can overcome any temptation that comes our way. May the joy of the Lord be our strength. May we testify to His glory in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Continue to Excel in the Work of God

Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord [always doing your best and doing more than is needed], being continually aware that your labor [even to the point of exhaustion] in the Lord is not futile nor wasted [it is never without purpose].
1 CORINTHIANS 15:58 AMP

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day. We shall rejoice and be glad in it.

God expects that as His creation we shall love Him and work for Him. There should be no holding back when it comes to working for the Lord.

Today’s scripture charges us to go ahead and give our best service to the Lord. We should keep excelling in our work of ministry for it is unto the Lord!

Remain steadfast and immovable as the service to the Lord is highly rewarding and we shall never regret giving our best to God. God will cause us to smile and enjoy His goodness as we attend to His business with all our hearts. Keep the fire burning for Jesus.

May we abound in the good works of the Lord, may we excel in all we do for the Lord, may we remain steadfast and immovable. May the Lord reward all our labour for Him in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Unity in the Body of Christ

But I urge you, believers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you be in full agreement in what you say, and that there be no divisions or factions among you, but that you be perfectly united in your way of thinking and in your judgment [about matters of the faith].

Today’s scripture is urging all of us to live in unity as the body of Christ. Apostle Paul urges the church to put aside divisions and strive for unity.

Psalms 133:1 NKJV
[1] Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!

Unity in the body of Christ is fundamental to the church achieving its goals. May the name of Jesus Christ that gives us the same identity bind us together and cause us to be in agreement in pushing the name of the Lord as the Saviour of the world.

A united body of Christ will achieve the Christ Jesus campaign of reaching the utter most parts of the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. May we be pillars of unity in the body of Christ.

May our minds be focused on the bigger picture of the Christ Jesus for All agenda, may the power of unity positively impact the progress of the gospel. May we be worthy instruments in the hands of the Master for propagating His gospel. Jehovah be our helper. Amen.
