There is none Holy as the Lord and no Rock like our God

There is none holy as the Lord : for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.
1 Samuel 2:2 KJV

Praise be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture captures Hannah’s prayer, may this be our prayer also. That our heart rejoices in the Lord and our horn is exalted in the Lord just like Hannah. May we smile at our enemies because of God’s salvation for us.

God alone is God and none compares to Him! Absolutely no one can match the creator of the universe and today we say be glorified in all the earth!

There is none holy as the Lord! He is seated in His majesty and reigns forever more.

Master, Speak for thy servant heareth

‭1 Samuel‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭AMP‬
[10] Then the Lord came and stood and called as at the previous times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel answered, “Speak, for Your servant is listening.”

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Thank God for His Word today that encourages us to be sensitive to the Spirit of God and hear Him speak to us through different ways. It may be through a dream, His still voice, some prompting, a scripture that might come to you and many more.

Like little Samuel, we should tell the Lord to speak to us for we are ready for Him. This scripture formed the basis of the popular hymn Master speak thy servant heareth, I produce the 1st stanza here as we meditate on God’s Word today.

“Master, speak! thy servant heareth,
waiting for thy gracious word,
longing for thy voice that cheereth,
Master, let it now be heard.
I am list’ning, Lord, for thee;
what hast thou to say to me?”

Lord speak to us for we are ready for your Word. May every distraction that hinders our hearing from you be taken away in Jesus name. Master Jesus speak , thy children are listening. Amen

This is the Great Commission that Jesus Christ gave to the disciples and by extension to every child of God after His resurrection prior to His ascension.

The scripture for today popularly referred to as the Great Commission enjoins all christians to preach the good news of salvation to all and at all times.

Jesus Christ assured the disciples that all authority had been given to Him by His Father and this is what He is also passing on for the fulfilment of the Great Commission.

The great commission requires that we preach to people, teach them, get them baptized by the Church and follow up on them to ensure they remain and grow in Christ Jesus.

Father we pray for grace to be able to fulfil the great commission in accordance with the Word of God. May we be preachers and teachers of your Word to get your Word established in the lives of those we preach to in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

We serve a Holy who on countless times admonished the Israelites to consecrate themselves in view of His visitation. The bible clearly states that without Holiness we cannot see God! May the Lord guide and help us to live a life of holiness to partake of His divine healing and deliverance.
The God we serve is the Rock of ages. He changes not! Be our immovable, unshakeable and unbeatable God!
Come and taste the goodness of the Lord.
