Renewed Strength for the Journey

2 Corinthians 4:16 (NKJV)
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.”

Praise and glory be to God for this new day and the privilege to be strengthened by His Word.

The Apostle Paul reminds us that while our physical bodies may grow weary and face limitations, there is a greater work taking place within us. The inward man, our spirit is continually renewed by God’s grace. This renewal is not seasonal but daily, sustained by our relationship with Christ.

As we begin this new year, this scripture encourages us not to lose heart despite past challenges or present pressures. What may appear as weakness on the outside is often the very place where God is strengthening us on the inside.

God’s renewing power enables us to rise above discouragement, persevere through trials, and walk forward with hope. Each day we remain in His presence, our inner strength is refreshed and our faith is renewed.

May you experience daily renewal of strength, joy, and faith. Though the outward may feel strained, may your inward man be energized by the Spirit of God for the journey ahead. Amen.

Be a New Creature in Christ

Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].
2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 AMP

Let’s sing Hallelujah to the King of Kings. Glory and honour be unto God for this last but one day of year. Indeed His grace and mercies have brought us this far.

We are thankful unto God for the provision in today’s scripture, Christ Jesus refreshes us, when you come to Him,you are adorned and beautified spiritually and physically.

Once the heart believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the mouth confesses, there is the translation from the Kingdom of darkness into God’s marvellous Kingdom and the Holy Spirit takes over.

A new person who is guided and directed by the Holy Spirit is birthed spiritually. All the old things now give way to a new life in Christ Jesus!

May this be your testimony, that your life has become brand new in Christ Jesus, to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour in this last but one day of the year is even more symbolic.

May the Great Grace of God abound and see us through the remaining days of this year and guide us through to a more fruitful new year. Remain blessed in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Sowing with Faith, Reaping with Joy

2 Corinthians 9:6 (NKJV)
But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

Praise and glory be to God for this blessed Sunday and the grace to gather our hearts around His Word. Thanks be to God for bringing us to the last Sunday of the year.

This scripture reveals a clear spiritual principle established by God: the measure of our sowing determines the measure of our harvest. Paul teaches that generosity is not loss but an investment into God’s divine economy. What we release in faith, God returns in abundance according to His wisdom and timing.

Sowing bountifully goes beyond material giving; it includes giving of our time, love, forgiveness, service, and obedience. When we sow with a willing heart and the right motive, God ensures that the harvest brings joy, increase, and lasting impact.

As the year draws to a close, this verse challenges us to examine the posture of our hearts. Are we holding back in fear, or are we trusting God with cheerful and generous obedience? God is faithful to reward those who sow in faith.

May you be empowered to sow generously in every area of your life. May the Lord grant you a bountiful harvest that brings glory to His name and joy to your heart. Hallelujah Amen.

Focus Your Eyes on the Things Not Seen, for They Are Eternal

So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.
2 Corinthians 4:18 (AMP)

Glory and honour be to God for this beautiful day, let us rejoice and be glad in it!

Praise God for the eternal life we have in Christ Jesus. This life is precious beyond measure and must be handled with the importance it deserves. That is why we are called to focus our eyes on the eternal things.

Apostle Paul charges us not to fix our eyes on what we see around us, for those things are temporary , cars, houses, clothes, and every material possession are fleeting and brief, with no eternal value. They are good and necessary, but they should never become our ultimate pursuit.

Instead, we must focus on the unseen , the spiritual things of eternal value. The invisible realities of God’s kingdom are everlasting and imperishable. This is the faith we express in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ: believing in our hearts and confessing with our mouths that Jesus Christ alone is Lord , now and forevermore.

Most High God, our trust is in You. May our eyes remain focused on You and on the great promises in Your Word. Help us to choose the spiritual, unseen, everlasting, and imperishable things. May we abide in them and receive Your reward of eternal life in Christ Jesus. Amen.

The Spirit of the Lord brings Liberty

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [emancipation from bondage, true freedom].
2 CORINTHIANS 3:17 AMP

Glory and honour be to God for a brand new day and the gift of life. Celebrate the goodness of the Lord.

The Most High God gave us His Son Jesus Christ to die and save us from our sins. Jesus accomplished His assignment and when He was leaving the earth He left us with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is a teacher, comforter, counsellor who leads us into all truths. The scripture for the day is therefore confirming the fact that the Holy Spirit brings liberty.

The Holy Spirit’s presence in our lives dispels any evil spirits and sets us free. The counselling, comforting and teaching etc. of the Holy Spirit liberates us from any bondage. Spiritual freedom is attained through the Holy Spirit.

May the Spirit of the Lord deliver us from any bondage and set us free to do greater exploits for the Kingdom of God.May we be empowered by the Holy Spirit to be overcomers in all things. Amen.

Comforted and Encouraged by God to provide Comfort and Encouragement to Others

Blessed [gratefully praised and adored] be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts and encourages us in every trouble so that we will be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
2 CORINTHIANS 1:3‭-‬4 AMP

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day. May the joy of the Lord be our portion now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name.

We are thankful to God for His protection and blessings on a daily basis. We should not take for granted the joy and peace that we enjoy from the Lord. His Word today tells us that we are blessed with God’s mercies and comforted by God so that we can also provide comfort to others.

We have received comfort and encouragement from the Most High God to be His representatives here on earth to re-distribute God’s comfort and encouragement to others. We therefore have qualified as God’s Distributors of Comfort.

The God of all comforts and encouragement has equipped you to minister to anyone who needs any form of comfort and encouragement today and all the time.

May we avail ourselves for the Master’s use. May we be sources of encouragement to others and comfort one another in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Taking every thought captive to the Obedience of Christ

We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ,
2 CORINTHIANS 10:5 AMP

Glory and honour be unto God for the blessing of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Hallelujah! Thanking God for the power of God that is at work within us. This power of God is what enables us to deal with the sophisticated and proud arguments that challenge the existence and ability of the creator of the universe.

Thanks be to God that by His Word the entire universe was created and this is the same Word that is alive and active today working in us.
We therefore use that authority and take captive of every thought that exalts itself above the knowledge of God. We subject them under the power and authority of God because there is no knowledge that compares to His.

May every thought and argument be brought to the Obedience of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. May we have the revelation that our knowledge and wisdom is nothing if Christ is not part of the equation. Amen.

God Loves a Cheerful Giver

Let each one give [thoughtfully and with purpose] just as he has decided in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver [and delights in the one whose heart is in his gift].
2 Corinthians 9:7 AMP

Praise be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

God our Father has always been an example to emulate, God cheerfully gave His only begotten son to die to set us free from sin and death. This is the greatest form of giving one can imagine.

Today’s scripture says God loves a cheerful giver, what is it that you are giving? What is your motive for giving? Is it out of compulsion or for public attention? Carefully consider!

Our giving must be based on pure love from deep within us, that is our giving must be stirred by a deep love for God that makes us give. God knows and sees the reasons for our giving. Therefore to receive the blessings associated with giving, let us do it the God way!

Our giving can be in the form of our time, love, resources, care or whatever we can think of that supports humanity and the work of God. Money is definitely part of our giving and any other thing we can think about.

May the Lord help us to be cheerful givers and follow His example of giving. May we be blessed abundantly as we give rightly and to the glory of God. Amen.

Jesus Christ’s Unending LOVE has made us His Righteousness by dying to save us

He made Christ who knew no sin to [judicially] be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we would become the righteousness of God [that is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness].
2 CORINTHIANS 5:21 AMP

Hallelujah, a brand new day has been gifted us and we jubilate in it. Glory be to God.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son to die to save us all. This is the emphasis that Apostle Paul also made to the Corinth church in today’s scripture. What manner of love is this!

Yes Jesus without any sin died in our place to reconcile us to GOD and ‘make us at right with God’. Jesus has obtained righteousness for us, this is something we couldn’t have done or can ever do on our own, Jesus has done it for us. Jesus’ love is unmatched!

By grace and by Faith we have been redeemed and placed at an advantaged position to walk in the righteousness of God.

May we remain acceptable in the sight of God all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name.
Thank you Lord for redeeming us from darkness into the righteousness of God.Thank you for loving us unconditionally. Amen.

God’s Grace is Sufficient for Us

but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough–always available–regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me.
2 CORINTHIANS 12:9 AMP

Glory be to God for this beautiful day. Thank you Lord for the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Apostle Paul received this message from God when he was about to encounter a thorn in his flesh. The enemy was at his doorstep to strike to ensure that he doesn’t think highly about himself and boast also. The Apostle pleaded three times with God but the answer he got is the scripture for today. My grace is sufficient for you! May God’s grace be sufficient for us at all times.

Indeed God’s grace is sufficient for all of us in all that we do. His grace comes through to help our weaknesses and enables us to accomplish His purposes in Jesus Mighty name. He will always show up to take you through no matter the situation be it sickness, unemployment, financial distress, marriage etc., God’s grace will be there to ensure that you crossover that hurdle. Get Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Saviour to enjoy His Grace.

God’s loving kindness and mercy is availed together with His Power that is made perfect in our weaknesses. As we become vulnerable, His grace brings Power that strengthens us and energises us to keep running because certainly God will not disappoint us.

Acknowledge His Lordship and He will be with you all the days of your life in Jesus Mighty name.

May our focus shift from ourselves to the Most High God to see and experience His Power of Grace that comes to save situations for us.Yes! God’s Grace is Sufficient for Us! Amen.

Reconciled by God to reconcile others back to God

But all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ [making us acceptable to Him] and gave us the ministry of reconciliation [so that by our example we might bring others to Him],
2 Corinthians 5:18 AMP

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

God through His infinite love gave His only begotten son to die to set us free from sin and death and has given us a brand new life. Bible says our connection with the Lord makes us brand new people.

Today’s scripture is the charge to continue the work of reconciliation that God initiated and has handed over to us. Our assignment is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the world and bring them to the Lord’s saving grace.

Reconciling the world to our original Father and Lord of Lords is the assignment entrusted to our care. Let’s go out there and bring any lost child to the Father of all.

May the Lord help us to walk in His Love and grace to reconcile others to the Lord. May we be serious with this reconciliation assignment in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
