God has given us the Spirit of Power, Love and Sound Mind

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].

Thanks be to God for His manifold blessings and giftings. We rejoice at His gifting of power, Love and Sound Mind. God in His infinite wisdom gave us these giftings so we can live and operate as His representatives here on earth.

We have been empowered to carry the power of God and the ability to discern and effect sound judgment.

May every form of fear and timidity be banished from our lives in Jesus name, may we forever operate in God’s power, God’s Love and a sound mind. May great grace abound towards us to accomplish His purposes in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Fight till you complete the race holding on to your faith

II Timothy 4:7 NKJV
[7] I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

It is believed that Apostle Paul wrote this letter in the latter days of his life. When Apostle Paul realised that he was about to join his maker he wrote this letter to encourage young Timothy in his ministry work.

Apostle Paul said he had fought a good fight and finished the race holding on to his faith. The fight of this life is not an easy task and therefore we need to trust in God to keep us going.

The tendency to give up on this race is high that is why we need God to strengthen and encourage us to keep pushing till the end. If we recount the challenges that Apostle Paul encountered, the many near death experiences, we can see that it is his trust in the Lord that enabled him to finish the race set for him. His crown was waiting for him!

May we fight this good fight of life till the end holding on to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. May God’s sufficient grace abound towards us so that we can hold on to the end in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Study and do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth.
