Walk in Love Always as Jesus Did

And this is love: that we walk in accordance with His commandments and are guided continually by His precepts. This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you should [always] walk in love.
2 JOHN 1:6 AMP

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

God is love and His Word today says that we should walk in love. The Love of God is felt and seen, and the believer is a direct beneficiary. By love He gave His only begotten son to die to set us free from sin and death.

Today’s scripture as captured by Apostle John says that as we walk in accordance with the Word of God, that is His precepts and commandments we are walking in Love. God is Love so when we are guided by His precepts, we walk in Love.

As we walk in Love we see the goodness of the Lord, we experience His loving kindness and others get blessed through us also. Let’s endeavour to walk in Love!

I am a child of the Most High God and I choose to walk in Love. His Word is my guide and I will walk according to His commandments all the days of my life so that I will abound in His Love so help me God. Amen.

Rejoice Always and Delight in the Lord

‭1 Thessalonians 5:16 AMP‬
[16] Rejoice always and delight in your faith;

Hallelujah and Glory be to God for a brand new day and the gift of life, let us celebrate His goodness today.

The Apostle Paul
wrote this to encourage us to deliberately make the effort to rejoice. Rejoice always!

The call is for us to consciously make that effort to be joyful in the midst of whatever situation we may find ourselves. Rejoice always!

We should not cease to rejoice and delight in the Lord for the Faith into which He has called us. Our delight should continually be in God, that is where we can pull the God’s strength to be joyful at all times. Rejoice always!

May God’s sufficient grace abound towards us so that we can choose to rejoice and be glad even in difficult moments of our lives. Help us Lord!

May we be empowered by the Holy Spirit to always make the choice to rejoice in the Lord. May we continually delight in the Lord our God. May the joy of the Lord which is our strength always remain with us in Jesus Mighty name.

You will always have the poor with you but not Jesus

You always have the poor with you, but you do not always have Me.”
John 12:8

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture assists us to remember the Holy Week and its significance as Jesus spoke about preparations for His death.

As the disciples had gathered with Jesus, Mary came with an expensive alabaster jar of perfume, broke it and washed Jesus’ feet with them and wiped with her hair. Judas Iscariot was offended by that act and stepped forward to indicate that the expensive oil should have been sold and the proceeds used to help the poor.

Jesus’ response to Judas is our scripture for today. Jesus made that statement to try and explain that Mary’s action was significant towards His death and the poor will always be with them to help. Judas Iscariot then took offence and went to betray Jesus Christ to the religious leaders. These 3 activities were all confirming Jesus was going to die to save us-The religious leaders were looking for Jesus to crucify Him, Judas Iscariot went to assist by betraying Him, Mary had anointed Jesus’ feet as preparation for His death.

May we acknowledge Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, may we make His death on the cross beneficial to us and all mankind. May the Lord help us to live completely for Christ all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen
