Have this same attitude in yourselves which was in Christ Jesus [look to Him as your example in selfless humility]

Praise and honour be to the Most High God for a blessed day and the joy of celebrating the goodness of the Lord.
Today’s scripture requires us to have the mind and attitude of Christ as believers. The Apostle Paul said we should imitate him as he imitated Christ Jesus.
He charges the church to pattern our lives after Christ Jesus, using Him as our example. We should therefore be asking ourselves at every stage what would Christ have done in that circumstance.
Jesus Christ’s death on the cross signifies His humility which is a great example for us to follow. May we remain selfless at all times.
Help us Lord in Jesus Mighty name to live and pattern our lives after Christ Jesus. May the humility of Jesus Christ be our example to follow. May we possess the mind of Christ now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
