Behold, I Will Do a New Thing

Isaiah 43:18–19 (NKJV)
“Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert.”

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to reflect on His living Word. Happy Blessed New Year!

As we step into a new year, the Lord calls us not to be bound by the former things or past experiences, even past victories. While it is important to remember God’s faithfulness, He reminds us that He is continually at work, doing new and glorious things in our lives.

God declares with authority, “Behold, I will do a new thing.” This is a word of hope, renewal, and fresh beginnings. The new thing may not look familiar, but it will surely spring forth according to God’s divine timing and purpose.

The promise of a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert reveals God’s power to create pathways where none exist and to bring refreshing life into dry and difficult situations. What seems impossible to man is never impossible with God.

May your eyes be opened to recognize the new thing God is doing in your life this year. May He make a way where there seems to be no way and cause rivers of blessing, restoration, and divine direction to flow into every dry place. Amen.

Peace be Still!

Mark 4:39 NKJV
[39] Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

We thank God for His Word today, the scripture recounts Jesus’ trip with the disciples on the Sea of Galilee. Jesus was crossing over to the other side after they had ministered powerfully to people, Jesus was therefore tired and asleep.

There arose a severe storm which led the disciples to wake Jesus up and asked Him whether He didn’t care they were perishing. Jesus therefore rebuked the wind and asked it to be still. He also questioned the disciples for their lack of Faith.

The Lord our God is with us in every situation we find ourselves, may we reinforce our belief and trust in Him and He will calm every storm we encounter.

May the Lord reign in every sphere of our lives, may the Lord help us to keep our faith in Him unwavering. May the Lord calm every storm we encounter in Jesus Mighty name. May we enjoy the Peace of God.Amen.
