Complete the Race by testifying of the Good News of Jesus Christ

But I do not consider my life as something of value or dear to me, so that I may [with joy] finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify faithfully of the good news of God’s [precious, undeserved] grace [which makes us free of the guilt of sin and grants us eternal life].

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Hallelujah! Apostle Paul makes a statement of intent which should be running through the veins of every child of God. We glorify God for this beautiful day, let the joy of the Lord be with us.

Today’s scripture tells us that the Most significant thing to do as a child of God is to be preaching the good news of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul says he must complete the assignment and ministry entrusted to him by preaching the good news to set others free from sin.

This is the example that the Apostle has set for us to follow, that we shall continually preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world with joy. This calls for great sacrifice no wonder the Apostle Paul said he considers his life nothing compared to the assignment and ministry of Jesus Christ entrusted to him.

Have we availed ourselves for this assignment? This is the single most important assignment we need to strive to pursue, God be our help!

May we be instruments of God’s love to preach His gospel to all till His coming. May we complete the Master’s assignment. God be our help. God bless you loads.

Trust in the Lord Completely for your Safety

The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in and puts his confidence in the Lord will be exalted and safe.
PROVERBS 29:25 AMP

Glory and honour be unto the Lord for placing us in a brand new day. We will rejoice and celebrate His goodness.

The bible says the arm of flesh will fail us! Therefore we should be guided by the fact that our trust should not be in any man as man can fail you.

Today’s scripture also states that the fear or reverence of man will bring a snare! Mortal man will try to do something for you but this cannot be compared to placing that trust in the Lord. On the other hand, man can nicely disappoint you big time. Trust God absolutely!

Let the Lord be in charge of every sphere of your life and see the difference. There is absolute safety in trusting the Lord. He never fails when we place our confidence in Him.

May we trust in the Lord and place our confidence in Him, may we receive safety from the Lord and be exalted on all fronts. May Jehovah God come through for us at all times as we put our trust in Him. Amen

God will perfect and complete His good work in you

I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return].
PHILIPPIANS 1:6 AMP

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Our God is an amazing God and His works are awesome. Whatever He speaks comes to pass just like the creation of the universe and of man.

The scripture for the day therefore is reminding us that God will continue to mould and work on us till the 2nd coming of the Lord. That the Lord will perfect and complete His work in us till Christ Jesus comes.

This means that as we surrender our lives to Jesus Christ, His marvellous deeds will be found in us, we shall do exploits under His tutelage, we shall conquer and overcome in His name.

As Christ Jesus works in us there is no option of giving up or backsliding, His Strength is made perfect in our weaknesses. Let’s therefore keep holding on till the day of the Lord.

May Christ Jesus perfect and complete His work in every sphere of our lives. May we experience His awesome power and presence now and forever more in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Put on the Complete armour of God

‭Ephesians 6:13 AMP‬
[13] Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious].

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Over the past 2 days we have looked at getting ready spiritually so that we can stand in times of a spiritual attack to wage war.

Today’s scripture says that we should put on the complete armour of God so that we will be ready to stand any spiritual battle that comes our way unawares.

Putting on the complete armour of God enables us to resist and stand our grounds in times of attack. Since we do not wage war against flesh and blood but against spiritual beings we need to be properly clothed spiritually at all times. Clothed with the Word of God and Prayer will keep us in constant readiness for spiritual battle.

May the Lord help us to be completely clothed spiritually with the full armour of God to be able to overcome and conquer any spiritual battles thrown at us. May our lamps always have sufficient oil to do greater exploits for the Kingdom of God in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
