Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, tomorrow and forever

Jesus Christ is [eternally changeless, always] the same yesterday and today and forever.

Hallelujah! Praise God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Our God is awesome! He is an amazing God that none compares with Him. He is clothed in His majesty and rules over the earth!

Jesus Christ is changeless! He is the same God who wrought the miracles we read in the Bible, He is still doing same in His church today. He guarantees us that going forward Jesus Christ will still reign as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Let us entrust our all into the hands of this Changeless God to change our situations for good for us!

Jesus Christ does not change because He is part of the Trinity. In the beginning He was the there as the Word. He also said ” I and my Father are one”.

May Jesus Christ our unchangeable God translate our lives from darkness into His marvellous light. May Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever reign in our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Receive Grace and Mercy from God’s Throne of Grace

Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment].
HEBREWS 4:16 AMP

Thanks be to God for the blessings of a brand new day. Glory, honour and praise be unto God. May the blessings of this day locate us.

Today is Good Friday and we remember the death of Jesus Christ on the cross to save us. That is the reason we are saved in the first place and have that opportunity to approach God’s throne with all confidence.

Today’s scripture is giving us the benefits of dwelling in the presence of God. The child of God is informed to approach the Throne of Grace with confidence so that you can reap greater benefits. Let no spirit of fear grip you and lose out on God’s mega blessings.

The three major benefits are receiving Mercy, receiving Grace and help in time of need. The mercies of God cover our shortcomings and inadequacies. The Grace is for our journeys ahead so we can reach our desired destinations.

May we receive Mercy, Grace and Help from the Lord in all periods of need. May we desire to be in God’s presence all the days of our lives. May God’s unlimited resource centre service our every need in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Jesus offered reverent prayers to God while on earth- an example for us

‭‭Hebrews 5:7 AMP‬‬
[7] In the days of His earthly life, Jesus offered up both [specific] petitions and [urgent] supplications [for that which He needed] with fervent crying and tears to the One who was [always] able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverent submission toward God [His sinlessness and His unfailing determination to do the Father’s will].

Thanks be to God for His infallible Word. Today’s scripture brings out the fact that when Jesus Christ was on earth He was fully human and suffered a lot of things we also suffer today. In the midst of all that He lifted up petitions and supplications to God His Father for help.

In the last days when His death was imminent , He prayed to God to let this cup pass Him by if possible. God the Father answered His Son Jesus Christ when He lifted up few loaves of bread and fish and they were multiplied.

Today Jesus is seated in Heaven with God the Father and interceding for us. We should therefore not relent in lifting up our prayers and supplication to God through Jesus Christ.

May we never cease to call upon the name of the Lord at all times. May Jesus’ earthly example of petitions to the Most High encourage us to always call on the name of the Lord. Glory be to God, Amen.

Jesus the Author and Finisher of our Faith

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Who else can we turn to apart from Jesus Christ the Son of the Most High God! The beginning and the end, the Alpha and Omega!

Jesus Christ sacrificed His life for us in joy because He foresaw a great future ahead of you and I. May we not make this sacrifice to be in vain. His pain is for our gain so let’s connect to Jesus Christ and tap into this awesome blessings.

Because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, we have redemption and we have an eternal inheritance and life in Christ Jesus. May we continually encounter the throne of Grace to obtain His great mercies.

May we be heavenly citizens! May we make it to Heaven to enjoy God’s Mighty Throne and Glory. May the Lord help us to accomplish His purposes in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Do Good at All times, it Pleases God

Do not neglect to do good, to contribute [to the needy of the church as an expression of fellowship], for such sacrifices are always pleasing to God.
HEBREWS 13:16 AMP

Praise and glory be to the Almighty God for this beautiful day, let us rejoice and celebrate His goodness today.

The Lord loves the cheerful giver, He is pleased with the kind hearted, Abel’s choice sacrifice was gladly received by God. It is the same way human beings get excited at the receipt of nice/good things.

Today the scripture admonishes us to DO GOOD. To be able to do good to people you must be kind hearted, willing to see others progress in their situation and in life. God said that “once you have done for any of these ones, you have done it for me.”

Do Good to the needy of the church as part of fellowship and also to others so our kindness and goodness may minister the Love of Jesus Christ to them. Bible says in Galatians 6:9 that we should not be tired or weary in doing good especially to the household of Faith.

It calls for sacrifice to be able to do good, the selfish part of us will be telling us to hold back and therefore discourage us from doing good. We should let the Love of God and the Word of God be our guide in life so we can continue to do good by supporting and caring for the needs of others.

May we receive the Grace to support the work of ministry. May the Lord bless the efforts we make at doing good to others so we will grow with that attitude in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Pursue Peace with everyone in addition to righteous living

Continually pursue peace with everyone, and the sanctification without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.
HEBREWS 12:14 AMP

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Pursue, follow hard after or make every effort to live peaceably with all men. The words used indicate that it does not come easily to be at peace with all men but pursue it!

The scripture says that as we do our utter most best to live peaceably with all, it should be coupled with righteousness and sanctification without which we cannot see the Lord. We therefore need to attach equal importance to pursuing peace with everyone like we pursue righteousness so that we can see the Lord.

May the Lord help us to live a sanctified life that exhibits His righteousness while pursuing peace with all men and women in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

God Always Remembers our good deeds

‭Hebrews‬ ‭6:10‬ ‭AMP‬
[10] For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown for His name in ministering to [the needs of] the saints (God’s people), as you do.

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Thanks be to God for His Word of assurance that no matter the situation He will not forget our labour of love. Man is bound to forget you but God does not.

This word should therefore encourage us to continue in our acts of kindness and goodness towards others not expecting human reward or acknowledgement. God is taking note of that little thing you are doing in your corner to push His gospel or support someone in need. God has taken note!

May the Lord strengthen us to continue doing good to all people and spreading His Word. May our every act of love be blessed greatly by the Lord at His own time. Enjoy God’s favour and grace. Amen

Encourage others to Love and Do Good and continue to fellowship with the brethren

and let us consider [thoughtfully] how we may encourage one another to love and to do good deeds, not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching.

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day. May the joy of the Lord be with us throughout this beautiful day.

God created us in His image to do good works. Jesus Christ said we shall do greater works! We therefore honour God for any opportunity to fulfil scripture.

Today’s Word says we should encourage one another to Love and Do Good! This is a summary of the life of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Let us therefore practice this firstly ourselves and therefore encourage others to do likewise.

We cannot preach what we are not! Apostle Paul said “imitate me as I imitate Christ”, we should therefore let our lives encourage those around us to live Christlike lives.

And as the verse 25 says we should not neglect the assembly of the brethren, for as we meet we encourage each other to grow in the things of God. Let us always make the effort to fellowship with fellow believers.

May the Lord help us to live according to the Word of God by doing good to others and being an example for many to emulate same. May we not forsake the fellowship of the brethren in Jesus Mighty name.Amen.

Hold on Tightly to the Faith we Confess

Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word];

Hallelujah! Thanks be to God for our privileged position as children of God, we are grateful that confession of our sins and accepting of Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Saviour has brought us to this place.

The charge this beautiful day from the scripture is to hold on to this confession and profession of faith in Christ Jesus. There should not be any wavering or doubting as far as the profession of faith in Christ Jesus is concerned. This is because our Lord is reliable and trustworthy and faithful to the end.

You alone are God and We shall firmly hold on to you. May the Lord keep our hearts and minds stayed on Him till His coming. His Word and promises are ye and amen.

Without Faith it is impossible to please God

But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.

Glory be to God for the blessings of a brand new day. May the joy of the Lord be with you throughout today.

Faith is an essential ingredient of the Christian’s life. We therefore need to use it for every spiritual and physical transaction of us to bring it into reality.

Without Faith our lives come to a standstill and becomes very ordinary. Faith energizes us to reach out for the unimaginable and it shall be accomplished once we believe.

The scripture says that we should come to God with a heart that believes that God is able to do what we are requesting of Him. That is where we get our rewards from, seek Him diligently and receive abundant rewards. The main reward here is God himself 🙏🏾

May we trust in the only wise God, the Most High God and tap into His world of possibilities in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Discipline yields a Harvest of Righteousness

For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems sad and painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness [right standing with God and a lifestyle and attitude that seeks conformity to God’s will and purpose].

Thank you Lord Jesus for victory on the cross, you endured it so that we can enjoy eternal life. The process of going through discipline is a tough one and not pleasant to anyone.

It is very easy or natural to react negatively towards discipline when it is being meted out. The rewards are however great. May we be humble to go through discipline where required.

Enduring discipline brings us a lifestyle and attitude that conforms to God’s will and purposes.

May we reap the fruits of Righteousness that comes from subjecting ourselves to the discipline of God’s Word. May our lifestyles conform to the Word of God, may the discipline of God’s Word make us more productive and a better people to impact our world. Amen.
