Rejoice in Hope, Be Patient in Affliction, and Constant in Prayer

“constantly rejoicing in hope [because of our confidence in Christ], steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength].”
ROMANS 12:12 AMP

Glory and honour be to the King of Kings for this beautiful day and the gift of life. May our day be richly blessed.

Thanks be to God for the gift of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Without these precious gifts, there would be no way we could rejoice in trials, remain patient in tribulations, or continue faithfully in prayer.

Glory be to God for the Holy Spirit at work in us, empowering us to look ahead with hope for Christ’s return. This blessed hope strengthens us to endure the challenges of today with fervency and consistency in prayer—knowing that one day we shall be with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, in the glorious mansions He has prepared for us in His Father’s house.

May the Lord help us to rejoice in hope, remain steadfast in distress, and be devoted in prayer. May we live completely for Christ as our Lord and Saviour. Surely, God will come through for us in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Hope in the Lord and Wait expectantly for Him, God is our Help

Why are you in despair, O my soul? Why have you become restless and disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.
PSALM 42:11 AMP

Praise and glory be to God who has won the victory for us ,He is the Risen King, seated in majesty! Lord, you are glorious and amazing, we thank you for ushering us into this brand new day.

If it had not been the Lord on our side let the people of God say it ….mighty are the works of our Lord and Saviour.

This morning we read this scripture and we say that thank you Jesus, many things may be happening around us meant to discourage us and bring our spirit into despair, the challenges of the economy may be telling on us, even at times money for food may be a problem, but in all these we trust that YOU ARE Lord.

The choice to make this day is to HOPE in the LORD! The happenings around us are to bring us into despair, make us restless and disquieted but Our God reigns supreme and He is able to blaze through whatever storm we may have.

Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him for He is coming through for us, every storm will become calm with Jesus in the boat. Let us continually praise His holy name for He alone is God and We shall experience His visitation once we keep Hope alive! Have Faith in God and His unchangeable Word.

May the Mighty Hand of God deliver help to us in our time of need, May we encounter Him personally. May we receive fresh grace, fresh favour, fresh wisdom and understanding, fresh joy and unique testimonies in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

The Lord is my Strength and Shield, I trust Him and He helps me

The Lord is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him.

Glory and honour be to our Lord and Master Jesus Christ for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Are you glad to have the Lord as your Strength and Shield? That gives us a hiding place, a safe dwelling place in fact the safest dwelling place. You get covered with an impenetrable shield that surrounds you.

God our strength and Shield gives us super confidence that the Almighty God is with us and in us. Our full trust is in Him and He does not disappoint! We receive help from Him at all times and in every situation.

As we make the Most High God our Strength and Shield our hearts are filled with the joy of the Lord and songs of praise and thanksgiving fill our hearts, minds and mouths in this last month of the year.

May we experience God’s inner joy. May His praise continually be on our lips and engraved on our hearts. Thank you Most High God for being our Strength and Shield for we are under your full protection in Jesus Mighty name. Shalom.

Be filled with Joy and Peace and abound in Hope

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing [through the experience of your faith] that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will abound in hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.

Glory and honour be to God for this beautiful day, it is the day the Lord has made and we should give our best to Him.

The God of hope is filling us with Joy and Peace as we continue to believe in His Word and serve Him. Our absolute Faith should be in the Most High God.

The Power of the Holy Spirit also delivers abundance of Hope and an overflow of confidence in the Word of God. May this be our portion so that the Word of God will forever remain our guide and direction.

May the joy of the Lord, the Peace of God that passes all understanding, the hope of His calling be our portion. May the overflowing Spirit of God overshadow us and empower us to do greater exploits for the Kingdom of God in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Hope and Encouragement come from the Scriptures

For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope and overflow with confidence in His promises.

Praise and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Thanks be to God and for the men He inspired to write the Bible.

The scriptures were written for our good, to inform us of the wonderful acts of God and to encourage us to keep trusting Him for greater things ahead.

The promises of God have been documented in the Scriptures to encourage us to trust absolutely in God for the blessings contained in the Word.

May we always find hope and encouragement in the Word of God, may it strengthen and guide us throughout our lives. May Jehovah help us and be our portion in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Rejoice in Hardships because it Produces Hope and Assurance of Salvation

And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance; and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation].
ROMANS 5:3‭-‬4 AMP

Praise, Glory and honour be to God for this blessed day, may we rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture is drawing our minds to the fact that there are some benefits during our trial or difficult moments. God is able to use that to build up our character in the Faith.

We can recall the persecution of the church in Acts of the Apostles that sent Philip to Samaria to preach the gospel.

This is to draw attention to the fact that it is not only a gloomy situation when we enter into trials. We should therefore continue to trust God even in difficult moments that they will work together for our good.

May the Lord help us so that with endurance we will look forward to seeing Christ even in our challenging moments. God be our strength. May we not lose our salvation because of challenges that may have come our way. Amen.

Faith, Hope and Love but LOVE is the Greatest

And now there remain: faith [abiding trust in God and His promises], hope [confident expectation of eternal salvation], love [unselfish love for others growing out of God’s love for me], these three [the choicest graces]; but the greatest of these is love.

Thanks be to God for this beautiful new day and the gift of life. May we rejoice and be glad in it.
Today’s scripture shares with us three important ingredients of the believer.

Faith is our absolute trust in the Lord and Jehovah God. Hope is our expectations that we shall meet up with God one day as we have surrendered our lives to Him. Love is our unconditional liking and sacrificing for others.

Love is said to be the greatest of these three because it replicates God’s nature. A loving Father who gave His only begotten son to die for us to save us from sin.

May the Love of God fill our hearts and minds so we are able to love unconditionally as Jesus did.May we not be branded as clanging cymbals in Jesus mighty name. Enjoy the Love of God and share His Love today. Amen.

God our Deliverer!

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.
(ISAIAH 43:2 AMP)

A few days ago we understood God is our ever present help in time of need. This morning once again the scripture is confirming to us God will deliver us from every storm we encounter.

God will be with His children when they pass through the waters, the rivers will not drown them because God will be by them as a strong anchor.

Similarly no fire will consume the child of God, the Omnipotent God will be providing the coolness required to get through the fire intact.

Keep trusting God all the time and He will come through for you.
