Mark 3:25 NKJV
[25] And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
Glory, honour and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.
Thank God for another opportunity to consider His Word, today’s scripture is another parable of Jesus Christ.
After Jesus had healed and delivered some people, the scribes said Jesus was using the spirit of beelzebub to cast out the demons. Jesus therefore shared this parable to draw our minds to the fact that how can you use the same evil spirit to cast out the demons.
A house divided against itself cannot stand, yes this parable is applicable to us today in every sphere of our lives, we cannot succeed in anything if there is no unity.
Unity of purpose will always bring victory in every situation as energies are focused on attaining that particular goal.
May the Lord help us to strive to live a godly and upright life that glorifies the Lord and brings people together to achieve God’s plans and purposes for mankind. May every form of selfishness, greed and jealousy be taken away from us in Jesus Mighty name.
