Let the children come to me for such is the Kingdom of God

“But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, ‘Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.’” Mark 10:14 (NKJV)

Praise and glory be to God for a brand new day and the gift of life.

Jesus’ reaction in this moment reveals His heart in a powerful way. He wasn’t mildly irritated, He was deeply displeased when the disciples pushed the children away. Why?
Because the children represented pure trust, open hearts, and humble dependence. These are the qualities Jesus values deeply.

The disciples saw the children as a distraction. Jesus saw them as the perfect example of how to approach God. He reminds us that the kingdom is not built on status, age, or spiritual achievement, but on a heart that runs to Him freely and confidently, just like a child.

Your Father welcomes you without hesitation. No fear, no barrier, no reason to hold back. Come to Him with childlike openness, not with polished prayers, but with a genuine heart. God delights when you come to Him freely. Approach Him with the heart of a child.

Lord Jesus, give me the simplicity and trust of a child. Help me come into Your presence without fear, without pretending, and without barriers. Teach me to rest in Your welcoming arms. Amen.

Seek God’s Kingdom and Righteousness First

But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.

Matthew 6:33 AMP

Praise be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture is one of Jesus’ most important teaching when He started His ministry here on earth. The command to seek first God’s Kingdom and righteousness forms the basis of our Christian faith.

In this scripture Jesus makes it clear that if anyone wants to pursue Christianity, then set your priorities right by turning to God first.

To seek God first means to fill your thoughts with His desires, to pattern His character, to serve and obey His Word. All the things that we desire in this life shall be added on after we have taken the foremost step of seeking the Lord.

May we seek the Lord and His righteousness first. May our character follow the pattern of Christ Jesus and may we receive all the other things we desire in this life in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Blessed are the Poor in Spirit for they shall inherit the Kingdom of Heaven

“Blessed [spiritually prosperous, happy, to be admired] are the poor in spirit [those devoid of spiritual arrogance, those who regard themselves as insignificant], for theirs is the kingdom of heaven [both now and forever].
Matthew 5:3 AMP

Glory be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture is one of the Beatitudes Jesus taught during His sermon on the Mount. It actually was His first teaching during His earthly ministry.

They are referred to as beatitudes and some have described as the “Be Attitudes”. Basic prescriptions given by our Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed are the spiritually poor!

The amplified bible says that those who have rid themselves of any form of spiritual arrogance. That is doing the basic things God requires of His children and not esteeming ourselves highly. Avoiding spiritual jargons and gimmicks to project our spirituality.

May our focus be on the Lord Jesus Christ and serve with humility rather than being spiritually arrogant. May we be spiritually prosperous and inherit God’s Kingdom in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

God will wipe away every tear from our eyes:No Sorrow and Death in God’s Kingdom

and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain; for the former order of things has passed away.”
REVELATION 21:4 AMP

Praise and Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Hallelujah!

The book of Revelation gives us a glimpse of heaven according to the revelation John had. The new heaven and earth as described in the chapter and in this verse tells of what God has in store for His people.

What God is preparing for His chosen children is awesome as the scripture describes, no crying, no anguish, no sorrow, no death for every tear shall be wiped away. If these are taken away the obvious replacement include joy, jubilation, peace and laughter. May these be our portion in Jesus Mighty name.

Thank you Lord for blessings stored ahead for those who will opt to follow you to the end. Thank you Father for a godly Kingdom filled with your joy and peace. May we continue to strive for a place in God’s Kingdom in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Glory to God in the Highest, Peace to all Men

Then suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host (angelic army) praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest [heaven], And on earth peace among men with whom He is well-pleased.”
LUKE 2:13‭-‬14 AMP

Glory! Glory! Glory! What a joyful moment it is and shall be when we encounter Him face to face! The heavenly host choir rendering angelic tunes of glad tidings.

May the heavenly choir appear suddenly into our hearts and minds and minister continuous praises unto us. Songs to declare and confirm to us that Jesus is Lord of ALL and reigns supreme!

May the tunes they deposit in our hearts remain there perpetually so we can minister them to others for the Love of Christ to be shed abroad in the hearts of every man on earth. The Praise of the Almighty God should be on the by-ways and highways for All men and women to hear and join the chorus.

The peace of God will then come to ALL Men and Women and Children as Jesus Christ sits inside our hearts and grants us His peace that passes all understanding.

Are you part of the “well-pleased” of the Lord? You need to join now! Connect to Jesus Christ now!

May the glory of God shine and glow in and around any family that acknowledges Him as Lord and Saviour. May the joy be unspeakable! Glory to God in the Highest!

Seek God’s Kingdom First

But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right–the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.
(MATTHEW 6:33 AMP)
Many are the needs and wants of we humans. We are always running up and down to pursue them. This morning the Word of God is giving us a new priority list or scale of preference.
The scripture says that what should be of foremost importance to us is to seek the Kingdom of God and its righteousness. We therefore have to follow after Christ Jesus and make Him our Lord and Personal Saviour and live according to Word of God.
As we live right with the Lord, His seeds of righteousness within us will begin to bear fruits that will produce the needs and wants that we require in this life. As we make God our priority, He will make our needs His priority.
Pursue after God’s Kingdom and righteousness and all other things shall be added unto you. Blessings.
