The Righteous live by Faith

For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed in a way that awakens more faith]. As it is written and forever remains written, “The just and upright shall live by faith.”
Romans 1:17 AMP

Hallelujah! Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

The gospel is the righteousness of God and therefore as followers of Jesus Christ who is an embodiment of the Gospel, we cannot but pursue righteousness.

The child of God must therefore live right with God, our salvation package comes along with righteousness and we cannot opt out else we lose our right standing with Christ.

Living right with God takes its source from our Faith in the Most High God. God receives us as righteous because of our Faith in Him. Certainly the righteous and just live by Faith.

May we encounter the righteousness of God revealed by the Gospel. May we be saved by God and live a righteous life by Faith. May we not depart from absolute Faith in the Most High God. Amen

Live by Every Word from God

“But He answered and said, ‘It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.’”
MATTHEW 4:4 KJV

We bless the name of the Lord for the gift of life and for ushering us into this new day. May your soul be refreshed and your spirit strengthened as you meditate on His Word.

Today’s verse is part of Jesus’ response to the devil during His temptation in the wilderness. Satan tempted Him to turn stones into bread after He had fasted for forty days and nights. Though physically hungry, Jesus reminds us of a deeper truth: spiritual sustenance is far more vital than physical food.

As believers, we must understand that true life lasting, meaningful, victorious life comes from the Word of God. Just as the body needs daily nourishment to survive, our spirits need daily feeding from the Scriptures to thrive. Neglecting the Word weakens our discernment, our faith, and our walk with God.

Jesus did not argue or philosophize with the tempter. He simply declared what was written. That’s a lesson for us. Knowing and living by the Word equips us to overcome temptations, navigate trials, and stay aligned with God’s will.

Start each day with the Word. Let it guide your thoughts, influence your choices, and shape your responses. As you do, you will experience the strength, wisdom, and peace that only God can supply.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your living Word. Teach me to hunger for it more than physical food. Let Your Word be my guide, my strength, and my source of life each day. Help me to live by what You have spoken, and not by what the world says. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God is doing a New Thing in our lives

“Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.
ISAIAH 43:19 AMP

Glory and adoration be to God for this beautiful day He has blessed us with. We bless God for the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Our Lord God is Mighty and worthy to be praised. His power and might knows no boundaries. This is the great God we serve, His name is I am that I am.

Today the Lord says He is going to do a new thing in our lives. In this month of May, May God do a new thing for us all. A new thing that we have not seen, heard about or felt before. Prepare yourself to receive from the Lord, He says it will spring forth speedily. Position yourself for God’s visitation.

Forget the former things and past issues and be ready for the miracles of God that are coming your way, a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, substitute them for your expectations and trust God for them. They will surely spring forth speedily. This scripture gives us the assurance that there is nothing impossible for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

May that new thing which seems impossible spring forth speedily in Jesus Mighty name. May we experience “our roads in the wilderness and rivers in the desert ” in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Honour your Father and Mother so that it will be well with you and you will live long

“Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”
Ephesians 6:2‭-‬3 NKJV

Praise, glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Honour thy Father and Mother so that you can tap into the blessings God has in stock for you. This scripture has its roots in Exodus 20:12 where God gave the 10 commandments to Moses. Honour your father and mother that your days May be long!

Let’s give reverence and be respectful to our fathers and mothers as the scripture urges us. Let’s keep esteeming them and holding them in the highest honour we can so the Word of God will be fulfilled in our lives.

The verse 3 of this chapter adds that after honouring our parents, we receive God’s blessings and long life too. That it will be well with us and live long here on earth.

May the Lord bless us mightily on all fronts as we honour both our physical and spiritual Fathers and Mothers. May we enjoy greater grace and the blessings of longevity that come from honouring our parents. Amen.

Imitate God,Live a life of Love

Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]; and walk continually in love [that is, value one another–practice empathy and compassion, unselfishly seeking the best for others], just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and sacrifice to God [slain for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance.
EPHESIANS 5:1‭-‬2 AMP

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it

Today’s scripture is requesting of us to imitate God. This is a challenge meant to shape our lives and enable us to live Christ centred lives. Copy the Father and follow His example.

Imitating the Heavenly Father who out of Love gave His only begotten son to die to save the world, requires a big heart. We are being called upon to demonstrate this love to one another practically. Love gives, so just as the Father gave His only begotten son, we should be able to sacrifice for others.

We should seek the interest of others as we imitate the Father. The death of Jesus Christ on the Cross to save ALL gives us another example of sacrifice and love that is expected of us. May the Lord help us in Jesus name.

May the Lord help us to seek the best for others as we imitate Him. Help us Lord to walk continually in love so that we can abide by the scriptures. Be our guide in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Live by the Spirit,Walk by the Spirit

If we [claim to] live by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also walk by the Spirit [with personal integrity, godly character, and moral courage–our conduct empowered by the Holy Spirit].
GALATIANS 5:25 AMP

Praise, Glory and honour be to our Lord and Master for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

The charge by Apostle Paul in the whole of Galatians 5 is for the children of God to live by the Spirit of God. This is what is expected of every believer, to live and manifest the fruits of the Spirit.

A life not lived in the Spirit will be lived by the flesh and controlled by the desires of the flesh which produces ungodly fruits as listed in Galatians 5:19-21.

Today’s scripture therefore sums it up for us that if we have chosen to be children of God then let’s walk by the Spirit of God and show forth the fruits of integrity, godly character, moral courage, gentleness, kindness, goodness etc

May we live in the Spirit and walk in the Spirit to show forth the power and glory of God. May the Lord enable us to bear the fruits of the Spirit that will draw others to follow Jesus Christ in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

Man shall not live by Bread alone but Live by the Word of God

But Jesus replied, “It is written and forever remains written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone , but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God .’”
MATTHEW 4:4 AMP

We glorify the name of the Lord, praise, honour and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day.

Forever O Lord, thy Word is settled in Heaven! The Word of God created the World and all that is in it. Without the Word, nothing can be done.

Thanks be to Jesus for coming to fulfil the scriptures as Prophet Isaiah captured in Isaiah 11:1(confirmed in Luke 4:17-19). The Word of God is a Light for our path and the lamp unto our feet.

It is pure and unadulterated from God through His servants and meant to give us life. In today’s scripture Jesus makes us to know that food is good but it is not everything! The most important or essential thing for a believer is to believe completely in the Word of God and live by it.

May the Word of God be our defence, May it be our guide, May it be our backbone and stability. May the Word of God indwell us forever more in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
