Love Your Enemies & pray for those who hate you

“But I say to you who hear [Me and pay attention to My words]: Love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies, [make it a practice to] do good to those who hate you, bless and show kindness to those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
LUKE 6:27‭-‬28 AMP

Glory be to God for the blessings of a brand new day, May the joy of the Lord be our portion in Jesus Mighty name.

This is a commandment by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, love your enemies and do good to those who hate you.

This is following the unconditional love that Jesus exhibited here on earth, it is not easy to love your enemies, do good to those who hate you and show kindness to those who curse you. It is only with the help of the Holy Spirit that we can be energised to do this.

Jesus Christ set the example for us to follow so we should strive to pray for those who curse us and love them. The amplified version says we should make it a practice.

May God grant us great grace in multiples to be able to love and pray for our enemies. May this become a practice. God bless us and help us to accomplish His purposes in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Be on Guard and avoid Covetousness

Luke 12:15 NKJV
[15] And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”

Praise, glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture is one of Jesus’ parables that warns us to be careful about covetousness and his twin greed.

Indeed the scriptures indicate that what does it benefit us when we gain the whole world and lose our souls.

Today’s scripture therefore is a caution to be mindful of that and therefore strive to be more interested in the things of God rather than grabbing worldly possessions left and right.

Immediately after this scripture was the parable of the rich fool who had placed his entire life on his possessions and therefore lost his life due to misplaced priority in life.

May our hearts and souls seek earnestly after the Lord and all other things shall be added. May covetousness and greed never be near our dwelling. May God’s grace abound towards us in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Forgiven and Loved-Our Gratitude for Salvation

Luke 7:47 NKJV
[47] Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture refers to the lady who came to break her alabaster box to worship Jesus by washing His feet with her tears, wiping with her hair, kissing His feet and anointing with her fragrant oil.

Whilst the Pharisees and others were quick to judge Jesus for encountering a sinner, Jesus showed gratitude for what the lady had done and extended fellowship to her.

Jesus forgave her of her sins which also became another subject of discussion. Jesus Christ is ready today to forgive any of us who will admit that we are sinners and need salvation.

Lord Jesus help us to come to you to receive your free salvation. May we be ready to break our alabaster box to receive Jesus Christ. May we forever remain grateful for the gift of Salvation in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Glory to God in the Highest, Peace to all Men

Then suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host (angelic army) praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest [heaven], And on earth peace among men with whom He is well-pleased.”
LUKE 2:13‭-‬14 AMP

Glory! Glory! Glory! What a joyful moment it is and shall be when we encounter Him face to face! The heavenly host choir rendering angelic tunes of glad tidings.

May the heavenly choir appear suddenly into our hearts and minds and minister continuous praises unto us. Songs to declare and confirm to us that Jesus is Lord of ALL and reigns supreme!

May the tunes they deposit in our hearts remain there perpetually so we can minister them to others for the Love of Christ to be shed abroad in the hearts of every man on earth. The Praise of the Almighty God should be on the by-ways and highways for All men and women to hear and join the chorus.

The peace of God will then come to ALL Men and Women and Children as Jesus Christ sits inside our hearts and grants us His peace that passes all understanding.

Are you part of the “well-pleased” of the Lord? You need to join now! Connect to Jesus Christ now!

May the glory of God shine and glow in and around any family that acknowledges Him as Lord and Saviour. May the joy be unspeakable! Glory to God in the Highest!

Receive an angelic visitation with Good news

Luke 2:9-10 NKJV
[9] And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. [10] Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Thanks be to God that the birth of Jesus Christ has brought so much joy to our world and to us as individuals.

The angel of the Lord appears to the shepherds at a time they least expected and therefore they were startled. The angel told them not to be afraid for he was bringing them good news. May we also receive this good news.

Also with the angels visit, the glory of God shone around the shepherds, a wonderful experience and encounter they received.

May the glory of God shine forth in your life as you receive angelic visitation. May this visit bring you everlasting joy and glad tidings because of the encounter with Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! Amen.

Our Saviour is born in a Manger

Luke 2:7 NKJV
[7] And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture says that the Saviour of the world Jesus Christ, the long awaited Messiah was born in a manger. The Son of God was born in a manger and not a luxurious palace? Wow!

As the story of Jesus Christ birth was told, Joseph and Mary had to leave Nazareth to Bethlehem for a census that had been decreed. All the Inns were full and the only available place was the manger.

The birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ in a manger signifies humility and access to all mankind. The visit by the shepherds and not Kings and other Royals meant people from all walks of life are welcome to connect with Jesus Christ for salvation and eternal life.

May the significance of the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ in a manger bring all of us to Him for eternal life. May we enjoy the free access at all times to the Most High God in Jesus Mighty name.Amen.

Let your soul rejoice and magnify the Lord

Luke 1:46-47 NKJV
[46] And Mary said: “My soul magnifies the Lord, [47] And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior.

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Still recounting how the young virgin Mary became pregnant with the saviour of the world. This could have been a very frustrating thing when a young lady is looking forward to a gorgeous wedding day and boom here you are pregnant without any action of yours.

When adversity strikes what is our response? Do we have God in us that will flow through us to give us the resilience needed to survive and thrive?

It takes the Spirit of God living in us to be able to overcome such situations and have God’s peace. In the midst of this situation, Mary was able to magnify the Lord and praise His name.

May the joy of the Lord be our portion all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. May the Spirit of the Lord overshadow us and cause us to be at peace at all times in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

The Holy Spirit will overshadow us and deliver God’s gift

Luke 1:35 NKJV
[35] And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

Praise and glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture is a prophecy about the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ. The angel of God told Mary how the saviour of all mankind would come into the world.

The Angel’s word came to pass and Mary conceived miraculously through the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ was therefore born as a human who grew up in community like any other child though His wisdom displayed at the early years depicted that the Holy Spirit was working through Him.

As we celebrate this season to remember His birth, may this beautiful scripture become our portion and live it out.

May the Holy Spirit overshadow us and empower us to live completely for Christ. May the power and presence of the Holy Spirit cause us to do greater exploits for the Kingdom of God in Jesus Mighty name.

Be Ready for the Coming of the Son of God – Jesus Christ

You too, be continually ready; because the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect.”
Luke 12:40 AMP

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and celebrate His goodness today.

In Luke 12 Jesus consciously addressed the importance of getting ready for His second coming and the need to gird our loins. His narratives included the rich fool who did not acknowledge God in his riches and died overnight.May we be ready when the Lord returns.

He also specifically taught on the need to prepare for the Coming of the Son of God. The need to have God in your life and prioritise Him in your life in these times is very important and crucial.

Keep the lamp burning, meaning you need to fuel it properly by leading a live that is pleasing unto the Lord since His coming will be unannounced.

May the Lord find us ready at His second coming! May our lamps be well lubricated and burning and illuminating the world for others to come to the Light of Jesus Christ. May we glow in the Lord!Amen.

Be a Faithful Steward all the time with little or much

“He who is faithful in a very little thing is also faithful in much; and he who is dishonest in a very little thing is also dishonest in much.
Luke 16:10 AMP

Praise and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Thank God for this beautiful day that He has gifted us with.

Today’s scripture is a Word taught by Jesus Christ during his earthly ministry. Jesus was highlighting the importance of stewardship.

In the first place we are all here on earth as stewards and are expected to give account of the life God has blessed us with. How are we accounting for the giftings God has bestowed on us?

In Jesus’ teaching He indicated that the one who does well in handling a little would be entrusted with much. It is always difficult to entrust more to people who are clearly abusing opportunities or wasting resources.

May the grace of God enable us to be faithful in all things that have been entrusted to our care. May we remain good stewards no matter the situation in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

With God, nothing is Impossible

For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Luke 1:37 KJV

Hallelujah! Glory and honour be to God for this beautiful day, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Thanks be to God for bringing us to the last day of the 8th month.

Our God is an awesome God and greatly to be praised.

In God’s dictionary and vocabulary the word impossible does not exist or has been highlighted and cancelled with red ink because it is alien.

Our God is Sovereign and nothing can stand in His way, He is the creator of the universe so what can’t He do. When the earth was void and without form, He spoke and order prevailed.

When the Israelites were at their wits end and the Egyptians pursuing them, He parted the Red Sea for the Israelites to cross on dry land. With five loaves of bread and two fish, He fed 5000 men excluding women and children and had 12 baskets remaining, what an amazing God.

A virgin conceiving the Messiah, Post menopause Sarah conceiving and giving birth, numerous diseases being healed and raising dead people back to life are just a few of the biblical records of the Most High God. We should keep Faith alive by persevering till the end.

If we consider the gravity of some of the miracles- woman with the issue of blood for 12 years, lame man lying by the pool of Bethesda for 38 years then we should know that the God we serve can do ALL THINGS.

May the God of possibilities convert all our impossibilities to Possibilities in Jesus Mighty name. May we walk and live with this great God all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.
