Be a Faithful Steward all the time

“He who is faithful in a very little thing is also faithful in much; and he who is dishonest in a very little thing is also dishonest in much.
Luke 16:10 AMP

Praise and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Thank God for this beautiful day that He has gifted us with.

Today’s scripture is a Word taught by Jesus Christ during his earthly ministry. Jesus was highlighting the importance of stewardship.

In the first place we are all here on earth as stewards and are expected to give account of the life God has blessed us with. How are we accounting for the giftings God has bestowed on us?

In Jesus’ teaching He indicated that the one who does well in handling a little would be entrusted with much. It is always difficult to entrust more to people who are clearly abusing opportunities or wasting resources.

May the grace of God enable us to be faithful in all things that have been entrusted to our care. May we remain good stewards no matter the situation in Jesus Mighty name. Amen

Deny yourself, take up your Cross and Follow Jesus

And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross daily [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]. For whoever wishes to save his life [in this world] will [eventually] lose it [through death], but whoever loses his life [in this world] for My sake, he is the one who will save it [from the consequences of sin and separation from God].
Luke 9:23‭-‬24 AMP

Glory and honour be unto God for the blessings of a brand new day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Jesus laid down the conditions required for the disciples to be able to work effectively and efficiently in the ministry. These conditions are applicable to us today.

Firstly, He called for self sacrifice(deny yourself of the pleasures of the world) to be able to follow Jesus Christ, set aside self interest and look at the bigger picture of serving the Lord selflessly.

Be ready and willing to go all out for Jesus! The willingness to endure any challenge that might come for the sake of the gospel reaching the utter most part of the world.

Pattern your life after Jesus Christ so that as the world sees you they are reading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Following Jesus’ life without any compromise so that your life will point others to Christ.

May Jesus be seen in our lives, may we be the carriers of the gospel, may we be instruments of God’s love and may the lost be saved through our obedience. God bless you. Amen.

Love Your Enemies & pray for those who hate you

“But I say to you who hear [Me and pay attention to My words]: Love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies, [make it a practice to] do good to those who hate you, bless and show kindness to those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
LUKE 6:27‭-‬28 AMP

Glory and honour be unto God for the blessings of a brand new day, May the joy of the Lord be our portion in Jesus Mighty name.

This is a commandment by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, love your enemies and do good to those who hate.

This is following the unconditional love that Jesus exhibited here on earth, it is not easy to love your enemies, do good to those who hate you and show kindness to those who curse you. It is only with the help of the Holy Spirit that we can be energized to do this. Lord we need your help!

Jesus Christ set the example for us to follow so we should strive to pray for those who curse us and also to love them. The amplified version says we should make it a practice. Lord help us!

May God grant us great grace in multiples to be able to love and pray for our enemies. May this become a practice. God bless us and help us to accomplish His purposes in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Be Ready for the Coming of the Son of God – Jesus Christ

You too, be continually ready; because the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect.”
Luke 12:40 AMP

Glory be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and celebrate His goodness today.

In Luke 12 Jesus consciously addressed the importance of getting ready for His second coming and the need to gird our loins. His narratives included the rich fool who did not acknowledge God in his riches and died overnight.

He also specifically taught on the need to prepare for the Coming of the Son of God. The need to have God in your life and prioritise Him in your life in these times.

Keep the lamp burning, meaning you need to fuel it properly by leading a live that is pleasing unto the Lord since His coming will be unannounced.

May the Lord find us ready at His second coming! May our lamps be well lubricated and burning and illuminating the world for others to come to the Light of Jesus Christ. May we glow in the Lord!Amen.

With God, nothing is Impossible

For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Luke 1:37 KJV

Glory and honour be to God for this beautiful day, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Our God is an awesome God and greatly to be praised.

In God’s dictionary and vocabulary the word impossible does not exist or has been highlighted and cancelled with red ink.

Our God is Sovereign and nothing can stand in His way, He is the creator of the universe so what can’t He do. When the earth was void and without form, He spoke and order prevailed.

When the Israelites were at their wits end and the Egyptians pursuing them, He parted the Red Sea for the Israelites to cross on dry land. With five loaves of bread and two fish, He fed 5000 men excluding women and children and had 12 baskets remaining, what an amazing God.

A virgin conceiving the Messiah, Post menopause Sarah conceiving and giving birth, numerous diseases being healed and raising dead people back to life are just a few of the biblical records of the Most High God. We should keep Faith alive by persevering till the end.

If we consider the gravity of some of the miracles- woman with the issue of blood for 12 years, lame man lying by the pool of Bethesda for 38 years then we should know that the God we serve can do ALL THINGS.

May we build up our faith and trust God that He is able to do all that concerns us. The God of possibilities will convert all the impossibility to Possibilities in Jesus Mighty name. May we walk and live with this great God all the days of our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Love your Enemies and do Good to them for your reward will be great

But love [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for] your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; for your reward will be great (rich, abundant), and you will be sons of the Most High; because He Himself is kind and gracious and good to the ungrateful and the wicked.
LUKE 6:35 AMP

Praise God for the blessings of a brand new day, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

God is Love! Beloved, let us love one another for Love is of God. Today’s scripture says that we should love our enemies and do good to them. It further explains that we should seek their interest and good too. It is not easy to do humanly speaking but the Bible says we should do it! Great Grace abounds.

We are urged not only to love our enemies but to do good to them, that is care for them, provide their needs and be interested in what protects and also promotes their lives. In all these, expect nothing in return!

Why do we have to go through such a tough time loving our enemies? It is because God who has called us has asked that we do so and He has already set an example for us to follow.

May greater grace abound in our lives to be able to love everyone whether they love or hate us. May God’s Word be manifest in our lives in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Be Merciful as your Heavenly Father

Be merciful (responsive, compassionate, tender) just as your [heavenly] Father is merciful.
LUKE 6:36 AMP

Praise, glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to connect to the Most High God.

Thanks be to God for the example of the Father together with guidance from the Word of God. The mercies of the Lord is what saved us in the first place.

The scripture says that we should be merciful to one another just as our Lord and Saviour is merciful to us.

Have you received the mercies of God? If yes then it is time to also show that love, compassion and tender heartedness to someone.

Heavenly Father help us to be loving, tender hearted and responsive to others. May we be compassionate towards all we encounter. Grant us the grace to do this in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Give and you shall Receive back a Greater Measure

Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure–pressed down, shaken together, and running over [with no space left for more]. For with the standard of measurement you use [when you do good to others], it will be measured to you in return.”
LUKE 6:38 AMP

Hallelujah to the King of Kings for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Today’s scripture is Jesus’ own words to us. Jesus Christ is sharing a great Kingdom principle with with us. This is a lesson that if we catch the revelation, opens us up for greater blessings.

The Lord says that give and it will be given unto you, it means that givers will not lack, if you freely give, naturally people will in turn give unto you. Your giving May be in the form of love, physical things or even money or whatever. Let’s know and remember that we don’t need to have the “whole world” (become rich or have excess things) before we give!

Giving must be exercised to all people and the church of Jesus Christ. May your standard of measurement for giving be a very generous heart without restraint!

May you will receive in excess of what you have given, a good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over in Jesus Mighty name. Receive till there will be no more room or capacity for you to receive in Jesus name. Amen.

Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!Hossanna!

shouting, “Blessed (celebrated, praised) is the King who comes in the name of the Lord ! Peace in heaven and glory (majesty, splendor) in the highest [heaven]!”
LUKE 19:38 AMP

Praise and Glory be to God for this Palm Sunday , a significant day in the Christian world. We rejoice and glorify God.

This day marks the beginning of the great step towards our salvation. The Lord Jesus took a significant step towards dying for all mankind.

It is also great to celebrate the greatness of the Lord, yes blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! It is a great day to lift up praise and adoration to the King of Kings. Peace in Heaven and Glory in the highest!

The Heavenly Father will give us what we ask for

If you, then, being evil [that is, sinful by nature], know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!”
LUKE 11:13 AMP

Praise and adoration be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

Jesus Christ in His teaching while on earth made this statement. If we humans full of sin know how to give good things to our children or those close to us, how much the heavenly father.

Jesus Christ made it clear that the heavenly father is so much available to us, what is required of us is to ask Him for the good things we desire! The Holy Spirit is our Help and companion in living right with God and He empowers us to live completely for Christ with boldness.

Our Most High God we receive the Holy Spirit today and forever more as our friend and everlasting companion. May He teach us all truths and the deep insights into God’s word. May He strengthen us for the journey ahead in Jesus Mighty name. Amen.

Luke 16:10 AMP

Glory and honour be unto God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it. Thank God for this beautiful day that has a unique date we can read backwards and still get today’s date.

Today’s scripture is a Word taught by Jesus Christ during his earthly ministry. Jesus was highlighting the importance of stewardship.

Your actions and speech tell what is in your heart

The [intrinsically] good man produces what is good and honorable and moral out of the good treasure [stored] in his heart; and the [intrinsically] evil man produces what is wicked and depraved out of the evil [in his heart]; for his mouth speaks from the overflow of his heart.
Luke 6:45 AMP

Thanks be to God for this beautiful day and the opportunity to rejoice and be glad in it.

This is a Word by our Lord Jesus Christ during His earthly ministry. The previous verses talk about the type of tree determines the type of fruit that is produced. A good tree bears good fruit.

Today’s scripture confirms this by saying that a good person produces good things because it is coming from a good heart. The good heart produces what is honourable, moral and good. A good heart is one that has Jesus Christ as the ruler and Master. Surrender your life to Him so He rules over your heart.

Likewise the evil or bad things do come from what we conceive in our heart, what is being produced determines the state of our hearts. What are the things that are flowing from your heart?

May our hearts and minds be fully possessed by the Holy Spirit and the Most High God. May our hearts produce only good, moral and honourable things to the glory of God. Amen
